San Marino - Puerto Vallarta

We enjoyed our stay but this year there were too many young children staying at the hotel. The pool was always full of yelling kids. Maybe it was the time of year. The food was good and fresh but could have had a little more variety. The bar drinks appeared to be watered down. Beer was the only reliable drink at the bar. The bar closed early every day. […] The rooms were bright and oceanfront had a lovely balcony, wonderful to wake up to and go to sleep to the ocean waves. For our purposes this hotel could not better. Close tp good restaurants, palapas on the beach and warm and friendly staff. If only it had kitchen facilities, I would spend a month there.

Very good location with walking distance to all good restaurants and very nice beach area. The hotel room was not sound proof at all so you could hear more or less everything from the outside area. There was mold in the bathroom and the door in the bathroom fell apart dúring our stay. The bed was soft though which is a little bit rare to find in  […] Mexico. Devamı

Wonderful experience at The San Marino Hotel in Puerto Vallarta. This is my fifth time to PV but my first to this hotel. Arriving at the hotel, everyone greeted us, check in went smoothly, I was given a cerveza before I saw my room, we did the inclusive with the average room, we did the room up grade. Our room was typical Mexico, clean, sparse with […] big screen TV, just the way I like it! Beds are firm yet comfortable, remember you are in mexico. Incredible view from the 6th floor facing the water. The buffet is better then most, good variety, could use a little more fruit variety. Maid service was good and prompt. After staying at the large hotels north of the town with limited events, and now staying at San Marino with everything you could ever imagine, dining, clubs and shopping just around the corner, I will be back to the San Marino in the "romantic zone". It has been ten years since I was in PV, the Malecon entertainment is much upgraded, sand sculplures, live evening entertainment, security was never a thought as the Malecon lighting and Policia were very good. The beach at San Marcos is very clean and entertaining. Interaction with the locals and San Marino guests while on the beach made the day very fun. Evening walks on the Malecon and a few blocks off the main streets were safe and secure. Not a single problem. Will I be going back to The San Marion, yes and before the year is out! The weather was great, 80's for a high and very pleasant at nite. The real suprise is the upgrade in cabs. The cabs weren't the old beaters of 10 years ago. Now we rode in newer air conditioned mini vans! The funniest thing that happened was arriving at the airport the "tour hawkers" grab you and have their sales people give you a speil about their tours. Then you are escorted over to the cab counter and the girls are hanging out of their booths, three booths in a row, trying getting your attention to take their companies cab. Place is nice and good food. Ensure you get the inclusive deal.

The hotel is expensive for the value that it offered. Upon check-in, we were given a wrist band to identify hotel guests and a room key with a long string to loop around the neck and a TV remote control. The funiture, bed sheets, mattress are very old and uncomfortable. There's no AC or frig in the room. the TV is a 17" tube that made in 80s. I had […] to pay additional $30 for a sleepover/nite. Other than the location of the hotel there was nothing that is worth of the price we paid for the hotel. I recommend Los Arcos hotel. Devamı

Great location but beyond that not much to say. Obviously an older building needing updates and repairs. Service staff was very friendly but front desk staff could use a refresher with their manners. This was my second stay at the hotel but I doubt I will return again.

It was really nice stay on a great location with restaurants and places to visit around on walking distance. We got a room with a wonderful green mountain view. There is a quiet pool only for adults, very recommended. Excelent staff, they made us feel very comfortable.

It was a really nice day on San Marino, excelent location and wonderful staff. 100% recommended.

The rooms are decent, nothing too fancy. The beds are on top of concrete slabs so not too comfortable. Hope you don't mind showering in the dark, there was no light above the shower. The location was 5 to 10 minutes walking distance to the clubs downtown and many beach restaurants. The staff seemed as if they didn't care. We had a room with bugs on […] the ceiling and beds and they said they would send housekeeping up but they were in no rush to do so. and the plastic piece that covered the light fixture would fall every time you close the bathroom door. Overall it was not a very good stay, hopefully you will get a better room than ours and have a more pleasant stay if you choose this hotel. Devamı

La habitacion que nos dieron era de las mas deterioradas ,el baño muy viejo, la madera sin mantenimiento, las toallas si estaban limpias y las camas.Los alimentos de buen sabor, pero la limpieza de el restaurant, de la piscina, el elevador puedo asegurar que tenian dias sin asearlo. El precio no es economico, para lo que te ofrecen, deben de poner mas […] atencion en la limpieza, no es problema del cliente si el hotel esta con cupo lleno y no tienen el personal suficiente, las fotos que ofertan en internet estan muy distantes de la realidad. Tienen que esmerarse todos en dar un mejor servicio y puedo asegurar que otro seria el comentario. gracias. Devamı

Pues todo hubiese estado muy bien, exepto por las mujeres que tranajan en la recepción, tan mas groseras y poco pacientes, no es mi culpa que anden de genio y no tengan ganas de dar bienvenidas a los cleintes que vamos llegando, muy grosera la tipo de ahí una morena de cara larga... de no ser por esa vieja todo el tiempo toda mi estancia, hubiese sido […] muy buena Devamı

me gustaria que pusieran actividades nocturnascomo en otros hoteles que hemos ido hay teatro en la noche y tambien actividades para los niños, ademas hizo falta snack.

CREO QUE DEBEN DE SER MAS RESPETUOSOS CON LOS HUESPEDES QUE NO TENEMOS INTERES EN COMPRAR TIEMPOS COMPARTIDOS O ACCIONES DE LOS CLUBES QUE PROMOCIONAN, PUES LA ESTANCIA SE VUELVE MUY TENSIONANTE.

Es aceptable, pero deben tener acceso a internet, es indispensable en estos tiempos.
