Hotel is three blocks from airport bus stop (Morzinplatz), with busses departing every thirty minutes on the half hour. Nearby is subway station (Schottenring) with two subway lines (U2 and U4). Direct line to Schloss Schönbrunn on U4. 1 km walk to St. Stephen's Cathedral (Stephansdom) through major pedestrian shopping area. I regret arriving just after […] New Year's Day. There were large holiday decorations hanging over all the streets. I recommend getting the three-day city pass for 19.90 Euros, which gives free train, tram, bus and subway travel and discounts at most major museums. The city pass is available at the hotel. An extremely comfortable hotel with excellent breakfast, pleasant common space, and very central, but quiet, in a garden square. We have stayed there twice, and would do so again.

The hotel staff were so friendly and made sure we were very well looked after. We appreciated the free umbrella's on loan from the reception area, what a great idea. The breakfast catered for everyone and certainly started our day on a high note.

The location of the hotel gives wonderful access to Vienna's inner circle, but offers a quiet setting on a side street. Nearby grocery stores and the nearby airport bus locations are additional benefits. The only downside of the hotel is it's spotty internet connections. No complains at all. Good value, very helpful staffs for someone with limited time to explore Vienna. Close to city centre, and neighbourhood restaurant and cafe. welcoming Quiet surrounding after a day out.

Stayed with wife (in our 30s) in a "1 DOUBLE BED" room with courtyard view. Room was plenty big, bed was large, shower was great. Breakfast was really good with cold and hot dishes and even champagne for breakfast. Wireless worked flawlessly. Great to have breakfast and wireless included. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is quiet on a park, […] yet there are several restaurants within a block or so, only 1 block walk to tram stop (Salztorbrüke), and only a few blocks to subway stop (Schottenring). Or only an easy ~10 minute walk to either Stephansplatz or the Rathaus Christmas Market. We would definitely stay here again. Devamı

Stayed twice recently at this hotel and both times were very good. It's about 10 minutes from Stephensplatz and there are some interesting shops en route to the hotel. Quiet street. Hotel staff very helpful and pleasant. I'd called ahead for concert tickets to be booked and the hotel staff took care of this request. Away from the centre of town but close enough to visit all attractions. We only used transport (Coach) to get to Schonbrunn Palace. Hotel staff very friendly and helped us out by making several phone calls for us after we found a wallet in the street. Room very comfortable but agree with other posts on here that the pillows are far to soft. Internet […] free in room (Via ethernet cable or wifi) or 2 free stand alones in foyer. Keyboard differs slightly from UK but quickly found correct keys to press. Didnt spend a lot of time in the room but those with youngsters who seek entertainment via the TV (Non pay per view) may be dissapointed as only english speaking channels were news ones. But hey, this is Vienna, why you in your room? Breakfasts 0630-1100 and very good. Devamı

As well as everything about the hotel living up to our expectations, the choice of breakfasts were great, the walk-in shower was roomy, luxurious and great showerhead and temperature control with fantastic spotless white fluffy towels. Above all though, the staff at the front desk were amazing. Their command of English was excellent, they were always […] welcoming and polite with plenty of smiles and seemed happy to be there. The concierge services they provided were A+, from touist information, tram, bus and train times to dinner recommendations and reservations. We travelled as a couple to Vienna for a 2-day sightseeing trip and the hotel made everything very easy. If we had wanted to book a concert they would have done that as well - however we ran out of time to do so. A fantastic weekend, we would certainly return and to this hotel. Devamı

September 2012 Just returned from a 6 day visit to Vienna staying at the K K Palais. Great location in a quiet square very close to Underground stations and Streetcar stops into the Museum centre. Good size rooms for city location,very comfy beds and excellent breakfast buffet. No restaurant for evening dinner but good choice of places to dine in the […] square with a variety of menus.Staff very helpful with directions and travel. Although there is not much more to say than other reviewers - the hotel was spotless and the service sublime - our room (211) was really small for the price (but to be fair I do not visit Europe often so perhaps this is the price) and the view out the window was of a wall of windows of other rooms. Great location! We found the room a bit tight for two adults and 2 young children. The hotel and the room were very clean and well decorated. Breakfast selections were great. The night staff were very friendly and helpful in addressing any of our questions / concerns. They went beyond the call of duty to make us feel welcomed

Reception staff in particular and other Hotel staff were great, were able to communicate well in English and able to give us good directions to places and helpful hints (e.g. purchase of train tickets). Central vienna location. 100 yards from Stottering U-Bahn station. Very quite location with large children's play part opposite. Supermarket and good quality restaurants within the square. We had a standard room with an extra bed for our 13 year old. Double bed was enormous and very comfortable. Extra bed converted from settle equally comfortable - […] still plenty of space. We've stayed in K&K hotels before so we expected this one to be very good and we were not disappointed. Very clean and modern and the breakfast was fantastic. It's very close to the excellent 'airport-bus' terminal which makes life easier when arriving and leaving. Just returned from a wonderful stay in Vienna at the K+K Palais Hotel. Vienna is sooooo beautiful -- wish I was still there. The Palais is well situated near to the centre of the city, the wonderful walks (and views) available and the efficient U-bahn (2 minutes walk). Had room on 6th floor, very low ceiling in parts with one small window felt very enclosed. Breakfast is the best you will find anywhere. Good location between river and attractions Recommend hop on hop off bus doing all 3 routes.

The K & K Palais is in a quiet location away from from the main hustle and bustle but only a 10 minute walk to Swedenplatz where all the boat tours begin and end and also a 10 minute walk to the heart of the shopping district. The roads around are mainly one-way so it was a bit confusing at first but we soon found our way about. The staff were all very […] helpful and friendly and the reception staff always went the extra mile to help and spoke excellent English. Buffet breakfast was good with a choice of items. The best thing was it opened at 6.30am which gave enough time for breakfast before early morning tour pick-up. We had a standard room which was adequate for our stay. There was a lack of hot water for the early starts but it was plentiful later on. We had no view but there was nothing much to see in that location anyway. The air conditioning was great ... it really worked and at 34 degrees centigrade outside, it was much appreciated. The TV only had CNN and Eurosport channel in English so not a great choice but we didn't visit Vienna to watch TV so again, not a problem. The bed was comfortable but the pillow was rather floppy. We had a wonderful weekend and would stay in this hotel again if we return to Vienna. Devamı

Clean and comfortable and was given a room with a bath upon request when we arrived. Excellent breakfast which was open for four hours to suit early or late risers. The staff were very friendly and helpfull. Very central.

Great location. Small but comfortable room. Due to the layout, you are about 20 feet from the TV when lying in bed. It is a smallish (20"?) old analog TV. It would not be expensive for the hotel to upgrade to reasonably sized flat screen TVs that can be seen from the bed.

My wife and I stayed here for 7 days to start off a 3 1/2 week Eastern European trip. We could not have asked for a more perfect hotel to kicks things off. As a small hotel with only 74 rooms it almost feels like family after staying there a week. The front desk helped with everything you asked for. Once I told them I needed gluten free accommodations […] I had bread for breakfast that I could actually eat. And the bar off the lobby made for a great last bit of relaxation late at night after returning from a night out. The room, although on the small side, was well laid out and never proved a problem. This was a great find of a hotel, service was excellent and hotel was comfortable. Some of the facilities are a bit dated but everything is well maintained. Whilst this hotel is not in the heart of the city it is a very short walk to many bars, restaurants and local attractions.

The room was clean and quiet so that it was easy to get to sleep. A park sits in front of the hotel which helps keep traffic and the noise level down. The staff was friendly and helpful. I had been at this hotel before and I always look forward to the breakfast buffet provided each morning. The hotel is just about 2.5 blocks from the airport bus stop […] which leaves every 1/2 hour during the day and every 2 hours during the night so that it was very convenient and inexpensive to get back and forth from the airport to the hotel. The hotel is also within walking distance of the center of town and is about a block from one subway station and about 4 blocks from another subway station so that it was easy to get around town without a car. The hotel itself was beautiful and the rooms were updated. The breakfast buffet was delicious. We did not like the location of the hotel. Although the center of the city was within walking distance, we would have preferred to be closer to the action. Also, for two adults and two children, the room was very small.

I truly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The hotel and the rooms were clean and neat. The location was great. It was close to the underground (U) and perfect walking distances to St. Stephans Cathedral, shopping, restaurants and the Ring. The front desk staff and the breakfast staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The front desk staff gave us great […] tips as to sightseeing options and were also very helpful in organizing trips etc., if we wanted them to. The breakfast was good with lots of options. We requested an early check in and were told that we would get it if a room was available. We got a room as soon as we arrived early in the morning. Free internet was a definite plus. The downside to this hotel was the stuffiness in the room. We stayed for eight nights at the hotel. The weather was around 45F for at least five of those days. The heaters were turned off since it was spring. The hotel did not turn the air conditioner or the air on since it was not summer. This created a problem because the room got really stuffy as there was no circulating air in the room. The only option was to open the window, which was fine for the first hour or so, but that made the room very cold very quickly. Even with this one downside, I would stay at this hotel again. Devamı

Fabulous hotel in a convenient location for the city centre and the U-bahn to visit sites further away. Internally the hotel is tastefully decorated, light and modern. On arrival, we were greeted by very firendly staff who were keen of offer help and services, a good start to our trip! We got a good deal on the hotel, the only thing I didn't like was the ceiling, unfortunately we were on the top floor hence the low / slanted roof. For a tall person this would present an issue on one side of the bed every morning! […] Overall cleanliness was excellent, no dusty surface or dirty glasses etc. Hotel is in a good location, just under 10mins walk to St Stephan's Cathedral which is a great place for meeting friends etc (very spacious). Included breakfast was good also, nothing fancy but tasted nice and is at least fresh! Room was quiet, perfect for recouperating energy for a busy day. Overall experience is great and would surely recommend this to anyone looking for a good value for money hotel in a superb location. Devamı

It is a smart boutique hotel, slightly off the main streets in the city centre. Decor is smart, rooms are rather small, but spotlessly clean. As a single woman traveller you are used to getting the darkest and pokiest room in the hotel, this was no exception. Hotel reception staff are excellent; but some of the restaurant and housekeeping staff leave […] something to be desired. I checked out on a few minutes before noon, having made sure with reception that this was OK, as I had an early morning meeting. However, one of the waitresses from the restaurant knocked to make sure I was leaving and hadn't taken anything from the room. I felt very uncomfortable and I would not go back for this reason. Thank goodness I always bring my own toiletries! Heaven knows the reaction if I had used a bar of soap. You know, it is fine, but really you can find friendlier and nicer hotels with more amenities and better restaurant facilities. Room service stops at 10pm (not that great for a business hotel). Needs to improve. Some of the hotel staff need training in people skills. Devamı
