The Felbridge Hotel and Spa - East Grinstead

I paid for a superior room, the trudge did not work (fan broken), I asked at reception if they could change the fridge as I needed to keep a few food items cold but i was told it was not a fridge and was not meant to keep things cold-they refused to look at it! Then a helpful porter arrived he offered to show me to my room(having already put my bags […] in the room I was not sure why j needed any help finding my room) but I asked if he could change over my trudge - NO and walked off. Later the restaurant called to see where I was as I had booked a table for five people-when I said I was travelling alone and had not made a reservation he informed me but I have your phone number and email address-appears reception had made the reservation, I guess as a joke for asking for a fridge! So I thought early nite-not sure if the diver had been changed but my pillow and sheets had lots of dark hairs-i am grey and when I lifted the diver up their were rips in the cover and you could see collied from the tv-very thin and cold at nite - never again Devamı

Nice staff, lovely swimming pool/sauna, spa dept., two restaurants, wifi, clean & fresh. The Felbridge is the perfect place for low-key conferences and the like. Wouldn't bring kids, though.

The hotel was great, very clean and personnel very nice. My only point is that the room was quite small for the price

Excellent hotel at reasonable price. Best hotel I've been in in area - and I have been in several.

Room was nice and modern if a little on the small side... However service was not good at all. It was nearly impossible to get a drink while seated outside. We had to call reception about the air con not working which after finally geting an answer ( No one ever came to fix it! ) This is a nice looking hotel and well maintained but service was far below […] par......... Hotel was very nice, small room but clean and modern, only down point was breakfast at £14.95 each we didn't bother, far too expensive.

A lovely hotel, excellent facilities and very friendly helpful staff. The only disappointment - very expensive breakfast £14.95 for a continental breakfast - ouch!! - We went without!!

Good quality, modern hotel where I have stayed before on business. Standard rooms are small but functional There are large and noisy air conditioning units located outside and if you are unfortunate enough to be given a room near to them you will need earplugs for a good night's sleep. The hotel is on a very busy road and can be difficult getting […] out in the morning owing to traffic volumes. Food and drink in this hotel is very pricey and would recommend walking out in the evening to local eating establishments for better value. Tip: order and pay for breakfast the night before otherwise expect to pay 50% more! Devamı

Good quality hotel overall. They upgraded us to a Junior room, much bigger than one we stayed in before. I had asked for a quite room as I like it peaceful and it was our 25th WA. The room was fine, although the A/C was far from effective, right out side our window was two A/C units, making a gentle wirl noise, UNTIL 3:30AM, then they made a lot of […] noise. Also a gentle banging could be heard all night. In this particular end of the hotel, you could feel a temperature rise as you walked through the corridor, and even more so in the room, with no effective A/C, this made for a very hot night. Swimming pool / Spa set up is great, my wife & I loved everything about that. We have eaten in this hotel and the food was great. Drinks are normal hotel prices, but expensive if buying rounds for friends if you are an average earner, I earn above average wages & still find it expensive. The Chef & Brewer pub over the road offer a far cheaper alternative for food and drink, but you get what you pay for, our evening meal was a complete disaster so we avoided breakfast there the following morning. We would have had breakfast at the hotel, but communicating with the staff via email was more trouble than it was worth, so I gave up trying to book it & took my trade else where. I have stayed here before and did not encounter the problems with the last room in February, but I was at a wedding and perhaps some drink had numbed my senses and I am known to be particular at home and work. Would I use this hotel again? probably, I would be happy to give it one more try, as it is a nice quality hotel for the money. Devamı

Excellent Hotel in good location and would certainly stay there again. Clean, beautiful decor, great amenities, friendly and helpful staff and comfortable rooms. Top marks .

This was our second time at the hotel as its not too far away but green enough to warrant being somewhere totally different. Plus about an hour from the coast means a quick jaunt on a sunny day was completely in order! We didn't get a balcony room this time because they had a few weddings etc on but would recommend you ask for a balcony room to enjoy […] the green views at the back. The swimming pool is warm and inviting along with the jacuzzi and steam/sauna rooms. Fresh towels are given and when the sun comes in you can easily imagine being on a sun lounger on holiday. Both restuarants have really good food especially Anise. Breakfast is like a three course meal, so worth adding to your stay, though sometimes they get the orders mixed up but will readily fix if you want. Worth getting room service for brekkie and sharing one breakfast if you both eat different things! The staff are helpful, though 1st time they got my bill wrong so as anywhere, check your bill! Massage 1st time relaxing but used to getting them so was not firm enough, more like a soft relaxing rub, preferred the jacuzzi 2nd time. All in all good place to stay when you've only a few nights break opportunity, pricier but worth it for free use of spa area if that's your thing. Need a car to get to local eateries or pubs/carvery or just stay at hotel as a good place to camp and eat in if you afford yourself the luxury. Enjoy! Devamı

We arrived very early for check in, but regardless of the situation we were told we could use the spa for as long as it took to get us a room ready. An hour later after a relaxing dip in the pool, jacuzzi, and steam room we were given a room 4 hours before check in! Brilliant staff, both behind the desk, in the spa, and just generally around the hotel. selv om det var et stykke unna london city, så var det ikke lange kjøreturen med taxi bort til togstasjonen! Så var det en hærlig liten by ikke så lang unna hotellet som var da East Grinstead.
