The Fairmont is a truly convenient respite right in the middle of the airport. One feels a bit like Tom Hanks in the movie Terminal in that you roll right off the plane into the hotel and the shops and restaurants are right out the front door. Great fitness center and dining in the hotel.

We stayed here the night before an early flight home after a week at Whistler/Blackcomb. It is connected to the check in lobby of the airport terminal. We dined in a very comfortable bar in the lobby area of the hotel by a huge fireplace. Food and service were exceptional.

This hotel is unbelievably convenient for a fly-in meeting. It is literally up an escalator from inside the arrivals terminal. It is very modern and new, the staff is attentive and pleasant. Restaurant is quite good, also. The best thing about the location is that go from the elevator when you check out directly to check in for your flight.

I always love it when we book a trip away. Great excuse to stay at the YVR Fairmont Hotel. Love the staff/rooms/view/bed and the best dinner at Globe restaurant.

A fabulous retreat to a horrendous travel day! Love the proximity to the airport (inside!) and the view from the room (runway). Quiet & comfortable! Staff from the luggage handler to the reception staff were helpful and very friendly. Will look forward to staying there again.

The Fairmont at the Vancouver Airport is an excellent hotel but lacks a reasonably priced eating area. The restaurant on the premisses is priced way too high and there are not enough selections on the menu,therefore you have to go to the Airport Mall areato find a restaurant for breakfast.

The bed was dreamy - too bad we had to leave so soon!

We found our room to be rather small and in need of maintenance. The wallpaper was beginning to peel, lots of nicks on the walls, bathroom grout/tiles in need of some care. It was a bit of a let down, as I have always wanted to stay there as I had heard that it was so nice. We had an early flight and needed a place to stay in Vancouver. This hotel was nice and SO convenient. In the morning all we did was go downstairs and we were at the gate! I travel weekly for business, this trip was with the family - it was awesome becuase of the ease to the airport.

We came from Whistler with a lot of bags an kids, our flight was at 7 am. We walked to the counter from the hotel rooms in 5 min, and that was it. The afternoon before, we took the train to downtown with no problem. Also the Restaurant and the Bar in the hotel areexcellent.

We stayed here as our plane got in too late to take the ferry home. This was one of my better ideas! It was a great relaxing way to break up a journey. The convenience of being in the terminal and not having to take a shuttle somewhere else was great, and I LOVED being able to store my luggage and not have to lug it all up to the room (just remember […] to separate out an overnight bag). With super comfortable beds and free milk and cookies for the kids I would definitey stay here again if arriving late or leaving early from YVR. Devamı

we recently stayed at the fairmont vancouver airport.it was a lovely stay. EVERYONE was courteous and helpful. the room was outstanding. we would definitely stay again.

Staff was very helpful with my late-night check-in.

If you are looking for a very convenient hotel for easy access, look no further than the Fairmont at Vancouver Airport in Richmond, BC. The hotel is located in the International terminal and you can't get better access than that to an airport. Great staff, wonderful service, and in case you are wondering, the windows are double insulated multi-pane […] windows. That means contrary to its location, the rooms are very quiet. I've heard more airport noise from miles away, it is amazing how quiet it is at the hotel. The dining: If you like mushroom soup and want to taste what every chef dreams of when they try to make it, order some at the hotel restaurant. Strange to mention a soup, and I'm not a "nut" for soups, etc. but frankly this was so good I had to mention it. The rest of the food was fit for a foodie, I was actually happy paying hotel prices for a meal or two. Two thumbs up, fantastic stay for short trips, including both short family vacation stays and business trips. The only reason it doesn't have all 5 stars is the "Surrounding neighborhood" selection. This is not the first time we have stayed at the Fairmont and find it a very comfortable hotel. It is the best place to stay especially if you have an early overseas flight the next day. The rooms are excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful, I would recommend it to anyone.

So clean, so convienient, no getting up at 4am to catch a shuttle to the airport, we just walked out of our room, and were at the airline counter in 5 min. The staff were very friendly and professional, and our meal in the resturant was exceptional.

Very nice to stay right at the airport.. no taxis.. some shopping.. not rushed.

The room was noisy, yet expected you are in an airport. But listening to someone above you enjoying their bubble bath all night is just a little too noisy for me. The annoying part was the vanety lights turning on by themselves every 20 min and dimming and bringtening up and down all by themselves. This went on all night!!! Not only extremely annoying […] but scared the crap out of my children. We had arrived late after 11pm so packing everything up and switching rooms was not an option. I evenually just unsrewed the lightbulbs. . After 3 hours of solid sleep we checked out and reported this to the front desk...."oh we are soo sorry we'll have maintenance look into this at once" nothing else....wow I'm glad I was guinea pig for the Fairmonts luxurious accomadations. next time I'll save myself $200 and stay down the road. We used the hotel at the end of a touriing holiday in Canada and it proved a great hit. It is very impersonal as are all airport hotels but once in your room the surroundings more then make up for this. It is the height of comfort and the bathroom is a delight.....probably the place you wish to spend most of your stay. We were missing a bathrobe and […] a request brought an immediate replacement. The swimming pool was small but the health club iinteresting as you run overlooking the check in desks. Expensive but worth it for a real treat! My husband loved plane spotting from the comfort of his arm-chair in his dressing gown! Devamı

You can't beat the convenience of staying right in the terminal, BUT service was mediocre at best. There is no parking area - your only choice is to use general airport parking or pay more than $30/day for valet service. Bellhops were clearly in a hurry and not very helpful with explaining room amenities. There is no refrigerator in the room. You can […] store cold things you won't need right away with the hotel, but the help expects a handsome tip to both store and then retrieve them. The receptionist could not tell me how much I had paid for the room; she said I'd have to ask Expedia (though I booked through Hotels.com). The first receptionist I spoke to promised to have a playpen sent to our room; it never arrived. The second receptionist didn't think the hotel offered playpens, but suggested a crib, which we accepted. A playpen was subsequently delivered to our room, which was nice, but obviously the receptionist didn't have a clue. The hotel's restaurant is first rate and worth every penny they charge (which is quite a lot), but the hotel itself is no great shakes. If you just need a place to rest before or after a flight, it'll do. I would not give it 4 stars. Devamı

The nicest airport hotel we have ever stayed in. Very convenient, quiet, upscale amenities, exquisite beds and linens.

Everything one would expect from a Fairmont Hotel. Great location. The rooms were superior. Surpassed expectation. Would highly recommend.

The Fairmont is attached to the Vancouver Airport, and is within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants within the airport, rental car offices, and the Canada Line railway -- 25 minutes to the Waterfront, and access to all Vancouver transit systems. This used to be such an elegant hotel, but they have been delaying needed cosmetic maintenance. Soiled and shabby chairs and dusty fake trees in otherwise gorgeous bar, with drinks & snacks priced to impress. Room very clean but needs similar attention. Great bathroom. You can't beat the location, however, right inside the airport.

the value for money simply did not match up, did not even include breakfast for such a high price? their restaurant offered very expensive breakfast, the guests have no other choice!

We stopped in between a gruelling arrival flight and moving on to see grizzly bears. Wonderfully comfortable rooms and peaceful, the sound-proofing works. The restaurant is not a pretty room but service there is terrific.

Super convenient after coming in on the red eye. Best Airport Hotel I've stayed in.

Great hotel in the Vancouver airport. We spent the night there before an early flight the next day. very confortable.

We stayed here because we had an early morning flight. So, being over the depature terminal was great. I don't know if all Fairmount Hotels have this policy, but there was no cream in the room (for coffee.) We had stayed at another Fairmount earlier on the trip - same thing. The room we had was spacious and beautiful in design, but the wood furniture and trim were scarred and a little grubby. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom luxurious. Decor in the bar and dining room is opulent without being impressive (huge fake trees, worn upholstery). Food and drink were unduly expensive. But: location, location.... The hotel is in the Vancouver (YVR) airport right next to the USA airlines. If you have to stay overnight when traveling, this option is TOO EASY. No cab etc.
