First Hotel Reisen - Stockholm

Aside from being very comfortable and friendly, it is very pleasant to go for a stroll either along the waterfront or into the interior of the old town.

The hotel is nice but a bit old and needs to update it's furnitures. My room still had an old 14" CRT TV. Otherwise the hotel is nice.

Very pleasant stay, great location, staff very friendly and helpful. Convenient to transportation, close to many major sights and museums, easy walking distance to some.

the furniture are old and worn, the room was dusty, small and dark, the bathtub is very unconfortable and the price is too expansive. just the position is good, i dont suggest to spent your money here...

Great location, superb breakfast with all service needed. Weekend evenings the nightclub noice can be disturbing if you are staying in the first floor. Not a problem for us though. Nice overall stay.

We found the First Hotel Reisen to be a perfect location for our 3-day stay in Stockholm. It was on the water, just down the street from the Hop-On Hop-Off boats, which we used to go everywhere. And it was in Gamla Stan, the old town, very picturesque, lots of charming little streets and shops. The staff were helpful and always available for questions […] and suggestions. The breakfast was magnificent, and the restaurant was great for an evening meal if you didn't want to go out. The hotel is not new but is very well maintained. No a/c, but a good fan. Excellent location in the Old Town of Stockholm. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Staff was most helpful in providing sightseeing info. Breakfast buffet was outstanding. Expensive, but worth it, particulary for our first time in Stockholm.

Awesome location and nice restaurant/bar

This hotel was a wonderful place to stay. Though the rooms are smaller than American standards I found it to be extremely clean, well maintained, and cozy. We stayed one night in May 2011. Great location and great first impression with very knowledgeable staff at reception upon our arrival - staff went out of their way to help us find a romantic restaurant nearby for our wedding anniversary. Room was good (small by American standards but comfortable) but bed was way too soft and the mattress old - with […] two people you both pretty much rolled into the middle as the mattress springs had given up a long time ago. Morning breakfast was amazing with very helpful staff and great coffee. Late evening and morning reception staff were unsupervised trainees and gave a lot of wrong information about local transportation. Had we followed their advice we could have missed our plane. Fortunately we got better information elsewhere. Hotel has great security. Devamı

About what we expected. Very impressed with friendliness and helpfulness of the desk staff. Location in the Old Town was excellent. Room was small, but adequate.

We have stayed here 3 years on the trot now, and love Stockholm. This hotel is perfectly positioned for the city sights, especially the old town, though rooms here can be a bit small. The hotel itself is very well kept and well presented. The only issue - areas in the room that the cleaner wasn't touching e.g. dusty phone! Definitely would recommend […] this hotel though. Devamı

The First Reisen Hotel is in a great location on the waterfront, and the reception area was nicely decorated, perhaps renovated recently. But we were disappointed with our room right at the back in the corner, not only was it very small, but very dated too and not what we were expecting from a recommended previous stay by a friend. Excellent experience. Helpful staff, esp. concierge. Breakfast very good. The rooms are a little dark - because it's a converted old building with small windows; but are very atmospheric. If you must have a view of the harbour you'll have to splurge on a front room/suite.

The location is unbeatable. Right in the old town near the Royal Palace. Close to ferries to take you to other islands and hop on hop off tour bus. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and the room was wonderful. Highly recommended.

On the waters edge in Gamla Stan the hotel is located in a perfect location. Extremely helpful staff, beautiful hotel. Included breakfast was a very nice spread. This is our first choice hotel for visits to Stockholm.

unfortunately we hit during some hot weather and the room was hot. the rest of the experience at this hotel was super.

Excellent location, attentive staff and good breakfast buffet

The hotel was fantastic. Rooms were small but good. Room service was fantastic and the hotel is located in the old town and within 10 minutes of the subway. It is the perfect hotel to explore Stockholm

Great room for the money. There was some road work in front of the hotel when we stayed there, and I think they had lowered the prices on account for that. But overall very pleasant, very good staff, nice room, good location in old town and excellent breakfast.

This hotel provided excellent service in a great, if not the best, Old Town Stockholm location. Breakfast was delicious and served in a bright modern restaurant attached to the hotel. The restaurant had a great view and courteous staff. Hotellet er rangert med 4 stjerner, på hotellets hjemmeside t.o.m. med 5 stjerner, derfor var forventningene våre høye. Vi bestilte dette hotellet fordi vi ønsket å bo godt pga. at min mann nokså nylig var gått gjennom en større operasjon og vi ville tilbringe mer tid på rommet enn man vanligvis gjør. Vi ble svært skuffet: rommet var knøttlite, det […] var nesten umulig å plassere bagasjen der og det var svært lite skapplass. TV-en var utdatert og av elending kvalitet, og det var få kanaler (savnet f.eks. BBC, NRK, DR m.m.) En dag ble ikke rommet rengjort før vi hadde bedt om det sent på ettermiddagen. Den påfølgende dag ble rommet svært slurvete vasket. Det var ikke air-condition eller safe på rommet. Det var utrolig mye støy fra den lille sidegaten rommet vendte ut mot: vareleveransene til hotellet var rett under vinduet til rommet. Varer ble levert med traller som ble kjørt ut/inn på bilenes lasteluker, noe som var svært bråkete, spesielt fordi bilene stod med motoren igang. Søppelbilen kom kl. 04.30, den hørte vi også svært godt! Frokosten var også mager: lite pålegg, frukt og få varmretter. Vi var to venner der overnattede på hotellet da vi var blevet smidt ud af vores private ophold. Bookningen gik nem over internettet, personalet var super smilende og imødekommende da vi kom. Vi fik en upgrade og fik et værelse før tid. Sener skulle vi bruge en cola og noget chokolade det forsynede receptionen os med uden beregning og stadig med et smil […] på læben. Devamı

Mycket fint hotell med bra centralt läge. Trevlig och serviceinriktad personal. Stort plus för frukosten. Matsalen var oerhört lugn och rogivande. Väldigt lugnt och stilla på hotellet över huvud taget.

Oli kiva että huoneen sai jo aamulla, kun laivalta tultiin.

Underbart läge och välskött hotell som jag gärna besöker fler gånger

Dette er et veldig fint hotell - men fine omgivelser. Veldig god frokost. Men, det er en del støy rundt hotellet så ikke det beste hotellet om en ønsker å sove litt ekstra

Stannade en natt för show i Sthlm. Rummet var bra men lite litet. Lustigt med spegel för utsikten men vi sov nästan bara på hotellet. Frukostbuffén var fantastisk.

Trevlig personal. Slitna rum. Jättefin frukost. Hotellet ligger centralt. Nära till mycket. Trevligt med båtarna utanför fönstret.
