Hotel Giardino D'Europa - Roma

The hotel webpage needs to be updated with information on how to get to there from Ciampino if arriveval is after shuttlebus departures. The roads surronding the hotel are not walking friendly, and we had to pass through a man-made tunnel under the motorway to get there. We booked this hotel for convenience as we had an early morning flight out of Ciampino the following day - the free shuttle and full breakfast were also important factors. The hotel itself was a little further from Rome than we expected, as we ended up paying a hefty cab fare to get there. Upon check in, we were informed that the airport shuttle only […] operates at certain times, therefore we wouldn't be able to use it to make our flight. (We ended up taking a cab, so add another larger than expected cab fare for this one night stay.) We were also told that breakfast didn't start until after we had to leave. There was a sign posted on the front desk that the restaurant would not be open that day either. (The location of this hotel is between two major expressways, so there was no walking to get anywhere else, either.) As a final kicker, we'd booked a non-smoking room, and were nearly knocked over with the smell of smoke upon entering our room. After a long day of traveling to get there, we were less than thrilled with our choice. We ended up paying more in cab fare than we did for our room. On a more positive note, aside from the smoke smell, the hotel was relatively clean, and the facilities appeared to be pretty nice. Consiglio questo hotel a tutti quelli che vogliono visitare Roma. E' molto comodo perchè c'è la navatta che porta fino all'ingresso della metro e si è liberi di girare la città. Al ritorno basta una telefonata e molto gentilmente ti organizzano il rientro. Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile e questo non è poco. Lo consiglio a tutti.

Een vervelende opmerking is dat de Belastingen en toeslagen in het hotel voor de tweede keer betaald moest worden, deze was al betaald bij de boeking. Maar men deed pressies of ze mij niet begrepen.

Hôtel correct mais les chambres au sous-sol sont très peu insonorisées, prévoyez de vous réveiller 3 à 4 fois dans la nuit. Petit déjeuner copieux mais de qualité très moyenne.

Davvero ottimo.Stavo nella dependance,discreta e molto carina.Silenziosa,la camera pulita e ottimamente arredata, munita di ogni comfort. L'ambiente circostante accogliente e pulito.Ottima la 1^ colazione.Lo consiglierò.

Το δωματιο ηταν ανετο και οτι ακριβως περιμεναμε.Το πρωινο αρκετα καλο .το προβλημα ηταν να βρουμε το ξενοδοχειο(ουτε με GPS δεν το βρησκεις )και ενας απο τους λογους ηταν η λαθος διευθυνση !

Booked this hotel because of the transportservice. The bus from airport was not at use after 11 pm, but the next day we were transported to the nearest subwaystation. Rooms were clean, but furnishing was very 80`s. Room was a bit stuffy and we could hear noice from other rooms quite clearly. Breakfast was ok and service was friendly. Ok hotel for one […] night, but I wouldn`t like to stay there for whole week. Devamı
