La Quinta Inn & Suites Milwaukee Bayshore Area - Glendale

We enjoyed being walking distance from Bayshore shopping and eating. Our room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The ONLY downside was the same bathroom.

I was going to stay at a Radisson, but it was full. I booked this place last minute. It was about $20 cheaper to stay here and I got a King Suite. Room was very nice. Kinda like a small apartment. First impression was this was a fine hotel. Check in was prompt and clerk was friendly. Our room was a king suite with a separate sitting area with couch and kitchen area. Room appeared to be well appointed. Looking a little closer the carpet appears to be in need of cleaning and the desk chair could also stand to be cleaned. Bed was comfortable, […] and we slept well, except for the drunk who was calling for a friend at 2:00am. Now the downsides: housekeeping did not refresh cups or toiletries. We had to ask twice during our stay to have them replenished. How hard is it to get a bar of soap? On the good side, the housekeeping did take away our discarded photo albums from cleaning out a family house. We did appreciate that. Overall, the hotel appears to be in need of some deep cleaning. Small refrigerator needs to be defrosted and thevsetting was to low: we froze our fruit. Devamı

We stayed at this hotel to ride our bicycles around the area via the Oak Leaf Trail, and, all-in-all, had a very good stay. A couple of minor points: 1) Funny smells. Every time we got onto the elevator it smelled like burnt rubber, and, while our room on the third floor was a non-smoking room, apparently the hallway wasn't, or hadn't been in the not-too-distant […] past. It smelled of stale cigarette smoke. 2) Questionable room service. Fairly late on the afternoon of our 2nd day we got back to the hotel from a ride and our room had not yet been serviced. The maid was still in the hallway, so maybe she was going to get there eventially, but on seeing which room we were going into, she asked us if we would be wanting any new towels, washcloths, etc., or whether we wanted our bed made up. We said, uh, yeah, all the above would be nice. Otherwise, I'm not sure we would have actually gotten service that day. She did not replace our coffee or drinking cups. The first night our hot tub plug didn't seal very well, so we had to keep the water running in the whole time in order to keep the water above the jets. We mentioned that to the front desk the next morning, and, by that afternoon,it had been fixed. Not sure if they put in a new plug or fixed the old one or whatever, but the second night the tub held water much better. Devamı

My wife and I went here on our honeymoon and stayed one night in a king suite and two in a Jacuzzi suite. Both rooms were very comfortable and clean. Hotel staff helped us find things to do between Brewer games (just 15 minutes away). We also had several hours where we did not have a room when switching between the king and the Jacuzzi suites and the […] hotel staff held our luggage behind the desk until our new room was ready. (We hung out in the nice pool and hot tub.) Overall we had a great time and would stay there again in a heartbeat. The neighborhood is nice and you are blocks away from shops, a mall, and great food! Location was great. But when I complained about the ceiling leaking dirty water into the tub I was told that it was not their fault. That it was the people in the room above me and they did not speak English so the staff could not communicate with them. I had to clean my own tub before I could shower. We have stayed at this hotel on many occasions, and found this stay to be similar to all our other stays with one exception. The pool was really gross. I have 2 boys who are always excited to stay at this hotel, and never had any issues before. The platform surrounding the pool was pretty grimy and visibly dirty, while the water in the pool was full […] of dirt, hair and other items. Now, I understand a pool getting dirty when there are a lot of people, and I was not thrilled with swimming in it, but had my kids there and they wanted Mom in the pool. For the most part the rest of the hotel was the same as usual, although the waffles at the Continental Breakfast were rubbery...won't have those again. We will probably stay here again, as it is in close proximity to relatives and our kids like it, but I hope they can get their act together and keep one of the main attractions there for our family CLEAN! Just north of Milwaukee. Comfortable, clean and nicely appointed suite. Welcomed our dog traveling with us. Easy access to highway. Comp. breakfast was quick and convenient. Able to start out on our trip without making another stop.

Dirty, smoke-filled and uncomfortable. What more do you need?

hotel was in a great location a mall in walking distance,a variety of food,ice cream places,stores in walking distance. attractions harley musuem, lake front, domes etc. 15 min from hotel. cleanlieness could us a little work just because you don't really see it doesn't mean it doesn't need cleaned.heating vents pretty dirty maybe a little moldy. staff […] was very helpful and willing to help.
