Homestead Portland - Tigard - Tigard

We stayed one week while our apartment was available and it was a great stay. Near freeway and stores! The only problem was that people who, make Homestead their home smoke and are kinda creepy, made for all locked doors atmosphere.

The door of the room was open to the parking lot, the security bolt was broken, the bed was low and hard as a rock. They did have free wifi and it was conviently located but I doubt I'd ever stay there again.

Friendly, helpful staff - clean quiet rooms

I had a really relaxing 2-night stay at this hotel just to get away. The kitchen was perfect, had all the cookware, microwave, large fridge, stove...even a little dinette! I'd say the only downside was that it took them over 30min to bring me 2 extra pillows and the reception on the TV was fuzzy, but not so bad that you couldn't watch it. We have stayed at the hotel in the past and been pleased.... This time, the faucet in the bathroom sink was completely broke off and non-functional. We told the desk right away...never got fixed during our stay ( 2 nights) This was also the first time we stayed more than 1 night. When we came back to our room after our training, our room was still not […] made or cleaned up. Hotel was ok for the price. It was a block away from our business meeting which is why we selected it. We had a late check in and the man didn't seemed to pleased to check us in. The bathroom smelt horrible and the bed was uncomfortable. Request extra pillows because the ones they give you are flat. Room was not cleamed thoughly. Bed was OK for a tramoline, should have a more soft mattress, like a Thermuopedic or a Select Number. Overall. OK but would consider other properties on our next visit.

Good Value. Comfotable room with a nice kitchenette. Friendly and responsive staff. Nice quiet neighborhood. Wonderful fireplace cafe within a few blocks.

Staff in this hotel were very friendly and helpful. Our room was exceptionally clean! The price was unbelieveable for the quality of staff and hotel and room accomodations. Rooms were furnished well and we even had a full sized fridge and pots and pans to cook on a 2 burner stove as well as a counter and 2 chairs to sit at the counter to eat. Nice place for a very reasonable price. Very quiet location.

I read the previous reviews on this location, so I knew what to expect. I really did get what I paid for: a bed (with old food still attached to the bedspread) in a less than optimally sound-proofed building. I only needed a single night, otherwise I would've sought other accommodations.

Hotel was very handy for me to attend my 50th High School Reunion, quiet location, easy access off and on I-5 freeway, also getting around Tigard area. Linda in front office was a great ! she had everything in order upon arrival. I would stay again, thanks...

The grounds are very nicely kept. The room was clean. I really appreciated the kitchenette. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Overall it was a very satisfying experience.

No local directional signs locally. Situated next to a small university campus, in a grove of trees. Finally found it ( yes i did have a map) after an hour. Satisfied with stay.

Great front desk service. I was told I was in a non-smoking room. It must have been a smoking room some time ago as it had a lingering smoking odor.

We were given the impression that we could have a rollaway bed in the room. None was available for the four nights we stayed there. Inside of the cupboards needed cleaning. The window screen was broken. On the upside, we saw no signs of bedbugs.

Good value for the money. Pet-friendly. TV was not working well, but desk staff compensated with no-charge wi-fi, which should be free anyhow. Staff friendly and helpful. Mostly a long-term stay for businessmen, it seemed. Pretty location in an office building area.

I have stayed at this Homestead many times, but it is in desperate need of a remodel. Mold in the tub grout, the shower head didn't work right, etc. The maintenance person was away so couldn't fix the shower head till my 5th day. Nice Room, Nice price, complete kitchen, could use more glasses and more than one cup.

It was tricky to find the place in the dark and rain. It's in a business park, a little off the main road, and not terribly well marked. But, for us, it was worth a little inconvenience, because it was so inexpensive. To be honest, I was a little surprised at how nice it was. The desk clerk was efficient and friendly. There's no view, and nothing much […] of interest within walking distance, but those things didn't matter to us. The room was well maintained and clean, and to my surprise, there was a kitchenette -- two burner stove, microwave, refrigerator, coffee pot. The mattress was comfortably firm. Internet service was a few bucks extra; wifi, and a little slow, but acceptable. Next time I'm in PDX, this place will be on my short list of places to stay. Devamı

The hotel was in a quiet location and I never heard any neighbors the two nights we were there. The room was clean enough but needed attention to detail: dust on top of tv and fridge, a little smudge on fridge handle, etc. The bed was harder than when I just stayed at Phoenix but the pillows were better and the heating/cooling system was a million times […] better! Not too far from restaurants and shopping. The exterior of building needed some TLC like picking up litter. Overall was a great value. everyone was friendly, the room was very clean, and the laundry room was nice as well. detergent was available at the clerk's desk in the office.

We had a non-smoking room and the bed linens and towels smelled of smoke. The bathtub did no drain at all and the dishes and silverware did not appear to be very clean. We also had a hard time finding the place. It's tucked away among an area of office buildings, well off the freeway. I will not go back.
