Homestead Los Angeles - LAX Airport - El Segundo - El Segundo

We drove around until we realized the name of the hotel is now Extended Stay America and NOT Homestead ! The name needs to be corrected. Otherwise, the hotel is decent enough for an overnite stay and leaving for the airport the next day. Very good location to use for that reason. There is a grocery behind hotel...convenient.

Room and all were nice. Only complaint is the 'free' WIFI. Very poor signal, could not stay connected with any device.

I was a bit leary to book hear because the price was so reasonable. I got there and the staff was awesome and the room was nice. The only thing I would recommend is to ask for extra pillows - they are a bit small. The area is nice and only a couple of miles from Manhattan Beach and about 20 minutes from L.A. or Hollywood. Cracked tiles on floor of kitchenette, larger hole in carpet in entranceway, dated vinyl base cove in bathroom/kitchen, cupboards were late 70's almond with wood trim, traditional large box television.

First of all a good location for the beach cities. That's about it. Let me list what we found; toilet tissue holder was dirty (scum on holder); bathroom floor dirty(previous guest hair and dirt in corners); nail polish (dried) on night stand; no chairs(only bar stools); no shampoo or lotion; banisers outside room dirty; if you need an extra towel, have […] to go to front desk to pick up. Expensive compared to the quality of service. Would rather choose another hotel with better hospitality.

It was nice ....although the room are small...My only complaint is the bedding and the pillow its looks and feel old..the pillow are small and flat and comforters are very thin very old .

We were going to stay at the Hacienda Hotel across the street where we normally do when in town but because we needed no amenities and wanted only a quiet comfortable room decided to try this. It was very nice. The Receptionist was very helpful and even called after we were in our room to make sure everything was ok. Nice studio for short or medium stay. Clean, convenient, quiet and affordable. Only negative point : Squeeky bed, sagging pillows both need some revamping .

The Hotel was frightening. I was booking in late at night and I had to wait in the dark for the laundry man to get up to the desk. The room was bare minimal, soap was supplied. I couldn't get a free shuttle to or from the hotel. I put my lugage against the door so I would hear if someone broke into the room. I was told that the hotel was affiliated […] with the Embassy Suites and it was NOT, for very good reasons. I will be much more carefull booking the next room!!! I could not wait to book into the Embassy Suites the next day. In all I paid $25.00 less at the Homestead but I paid for it in shuttle expenses not to mention the fear of staying at a hotel that I did not feel safe at!!! Devamı

this is a nice place to stay when on the road working lots of choices of restaurants to eat at

Upon arrival the receptionist could not make a key for our room, so he had to open our room for us and leaving us without a room key. The coffee pot did not work properly. The microwave did not work properly. It was not plugged in when we tried to use it and then after we plugged it in we discovered why it wasn't plugged in when we arrived. The hotel was awful! Dirty, no customer service, stink. I asked for a non-smoking and they put me in a smoking room.....

They don't offer any extras (roll-away bed, breakfast, swimming pool). But the place is well maintained and convenient to Grocery store, restaurants, Sepulveda Blvd (without being too close)

worst shower head, sheets, soap, no shampoo, no TV Remote. I won't book again.

Near to airport and close to business. Nothing great about hotel. I forgot my items in hotel after check out but came back to hotel 2 hrs latter to collect, hotel guys took forever to locate my stuff. glorified motel. think Psycho, the one with vince vaughn and you will get the idea. close to where i needed to be but everything about the pics and description were misleading. if you dont carry a weapon dont stay here.

This Hotel need security, a little too noisy with the market near by and overpriced

this hotes was warm and dry, but it had not been cleaned very well, ever. Everything worked, but you felt like you had to wear your shoes the entire time you in the room. The hotel had a banner hanging out fromt 'all rooms renovated'. Nothing in my room looked very new, maybe the towels. Very disapointed. hotel was great. love the location. very comfortable.

Because of the nature of the accommodations (longer stays, smaller turnover), the desk is replaced with a security person at night, so this limits arrival times. Other area hotels have contracted for shared airport shuttles, so the lack of one here is surprising, considering that it is so near to LAX.

I stayed at this location for 10 days, while I was transitioning from one home to another. It worked for what I needed it for, and the deal that I got was reasonable for what I needed. The […] biggest horror of this place is the bed is awfully uncomfortable. I mean really, really bad. I made it work, because I brought an eggcrate from my home, but if you are travelling from a different city, I know this could be difficult to do. Also, if you are a non-smoker, or do not like cigarette smoke, do not accept a smoking room. It was extremely smelly, and I had to triple team it with febreze, candles, incense and plug-ins. But that was okay because there is a 24 hour grocery store within a few steps from the rooms. That made it very easy to be there for a long time. Just the basics, but it works. Devamı

booked a room for 4. they included, 2 pillows, 2 plates cups and glasses. One pan, all were dirty. We went to the local market to get disposable stuff. I A/C was noisy, the TV was a 19 inch from yester year. This hotel is not worth the rate we paid. It was way disappointing. We will not consider this hotel again.

WELL THIS IS A NO FRILLS IN ANYWAY HOTEL. ITS CLEAN SIMPLE AND CHEAP! ...... small rooms, outfitted with kitchens, adjacent to supermarket, kinko's a bank, and fast food. $5.00 for slow internet connection, good for your entire stay. Close to the 105 fwy and LAX. All in all, fairly convenient for budget conscious business travel.

If I had to pay myself I might stay again. If work is paying then I would not. My first room was not serviced. It took awhile to check in. It was somewhat dingy in the rooms. The hotel room was fine for the money, however the kitchen needs more utensiles if one plans to stay a few days and cook in. Place setting for two needs some extras.

Best 2 star hotel I've ever stayed at. Only thing there wasn't shampoo in the shower. Nice, clean, great for the price!

With the exception of the hotel being a little difficult to find, I had a pleasent stay. I visit this hotel again.

Hôtel vieillissant, sa localité reste son plus gros avantage voyageant avec un enfant sa proximité avec le RALPH (supermarché ouvert H24 à 10m) et sa Kitchenette sont très appréciables.

The hotel is well situated for airport travellers that don't want to hear airplanes all night and have no special requests (ex. restaurant, room-service, pool, etc.). Rooms are very basic but o.k. Considering, however, that the Garden Inn next door (also Hilton) offers almost the same rate the Garden Inn is definitely a better choice.
