There was NOTHING good about this hotel! We got in and went up to our room, our key didn't work so we had to lug all our stuff back down to get new keys then all the way back up. We open the door and the room smelt soooo bad! And then we noticed there was NO balcony like the details stated! A little later we went to heat up some food and there was hair […] in the microwave. EW! So I went over to check for bedbugs since it obviously dirty! Well I finally get everything pulled up and find out they zip tied the bed wrap so you cant get in! My boyfriend convinced me that they were probably just trying to make sure the mattress stayed nice. When we finally went to bed, not only was the bed ridiculously uncomfortable, but there was black hair under my pillows....I'm a blonde. There was NO ONE down at the front desk all night to complain to. They had a sign saying they were closed. Then the noise started at around 5. There were doors SLAMMING and people yelling and then the construction started!! Which they said nothing about when we were checking in! The fire alarms went off twice and then I had enough! I went to the front and all the lady could say was they'll be done with the front in the morning! SERIOUSLY!? We then packed up our stuff and had to pay for another hotel somewhere else! We went there to relax and didn't get more than 3 hours of sleep! They would NOT give us a refund for that night! They said well you stayed here right?! I would NOT recommend this hotel to ANYONE! My son and I were looking for a last minute room . I was pleasently surprised to find this hotel for the right price. It was clean, comfortable, quiet and even had a kitchenette. -

I looked the night before for a hotel near brea mall, and found this hotel for an awesome price. I was worried about the 2 star rating, but for the price I was impressed. I would rate this hotel 4 stars. Customer service was amazing, the room is actually a studio including a lazy boy, stove, microwave, and fridge. Very unsatisfied with reservation.I requested a non smoking room,i could smell the fumes as soon as i walk into the room ,noticed an ashtray on counter the next morning.When i check out i asked if the room was a non smoking.The desk person said it wasn't,and apparently all non smoking rooms were taken....My reservation was very specific on my choice […] of room for smoking and non. When I came in the desk clerk Jaime was very friendly and helpful. The rates were very reasonable. The room was a good size and had a refrigerator, microwave, and stove top. The bathroom was also a good size and very clean. What struck me about the hotel was how quiet it was, especially on a Saturday night. I know it was full because of all the cars. […] I didn't hear the people upstairs walking, or my neighbors talking. I'm used to noisy hotels so this was really nice. There were bed bugs in the first room I was given. I discovered them a couple hours after checking in and asked to be moved to another room. Despite being moved to a second room and running all of my possessions through the dryer, they still came home with me and I am now in the process of removing them from my apartment.

Carlos the front desk person was very helpful and attentive to our needs. There were quite a few restaurants in the area which made it hard to make a selection. Overall I would recommend this hotel, and if I am ever in this area again I would stay there.

Nice. Close to Nixon Library. Met our needs, short stay...needed a place to clean up and go to an event at the Library.

Good room good hotel

I don't understand why it is rated as a 2 star Hotel. I feel that it should be at least a 4 star. It was very clean and well supplied. It is in a good area. There seemed to be many customers. The parking area was quite filled. At one point the neighbor was quite noisey but not for a lengthy period of time. The wake up call was very prompt I found my […] short stay there very pleasant and I will look for this Hotel name in my future travels. Yopur rates were very reasonable There was just one minor thing. One of the lamp bulbs apparently was burned out; I did not need it so didn't bother to report it. Thank you for the fine service. I booked two non-smoking rooms and when I got to the hotel, all they had was smoking rooms. Checked the rooms and they smelled so bad that had to start over again and get another hotel. Not sure if the mixup occurred with hotels.com or with the hotel but it was a huge pain in the a * *!

they need new mattresses. They are very hard and make noise every time you move. Our friends room had a huge dip in the mattress.

Business stay - one night only, no frills but accommodations in relation to room rate was excellent. Close to shopping and many eateries.

I was very pleased with my stay. The room was very clean. The staff was very friendly. There was a very small kitchen in the room with a refrigerator and it even had ice cubes in a couple of trays. I would have no problem staying there again. It is close to the 57 Freeway and the large Brea Mall, Angel Stadium and Honda Arena and not too far from D […] isneyland. Devamı

The beds at the Home stead were horrible. You could feel every spring. Service what service. My partner was solicited oral sex multiple times. The clientele there were shady. Who pays for internet service anymore. My stay was horrible and I will not recommend nor will I ever stay there again.

Not for the business traveler. This hotel has a kitchenette which was very clean however when ever cooking is allowed you run the risk of residual smell. rooms only services once a week and the long term tenants are undesirable tenants. Alot of rubbish stacked up in the corners of the back stairwell from long term tenants. great hotel if you are looking […] for an interim place to stay why in search of permanent home. I needed a hotel close to a local hospital for the night and this fit the bill. The bed wasn't as comfortable as I would have liked and there were no extra pillows in the room.

No free wireless is annoying. Bed was very uncomfortable and there weren't enough blankets. Having to ask for clean towels is a nuisance. Otherwise, nice little kitchenette, clean enough room and fairly quiet. No coffee or donuts - probably a good thing.

The heater in my room only blew cold air. The room was moderately clean but reminded of a 75 year old building, kind of run down. The front desk isn't really something that they are concerned with here. When I checked in and checked out there was no one at the desk and I had to make noise for a minute or two to get someone's attention. Tyhe hotel was close to where we had to get to as well many restuants, shopping and easy freeway access.

Very nice, kind staff. Very nicely maintained and decorated. The hotel is small and compact, and the location is not good. No view of ocean.

This hotel is a budget hotel and for the price, it is OK. Our only complaint was the bed which had a loud creak every time anyone moved. We changed rooms but the bed was the same. We put up with it for 3 nights and then moved to the Embassy Suites Brea for our next 4 nights stay. The cost was more but in terms of value and comfort. it was worth the […] move. If you are on a tight budget and a sound sleeper (due creaky beds), then the Homestead is good value but don't expect it to be more than a budget hotel . Devamı

Smoky non-smoking room with cigarette burns on vanity. Air filter had not been replaced and room filled iwth smoke residue when A/C was used, which in 103 degree weather was required. No cooking dishes or utensils in this extended "home away from home, complete kitchen" hotel. Complaint to general headquarters referred the situation back to the local […] manager. Conversation was fruitless. He ended up sending a certificate for a one night stay "anywhere in the chain", but even though the certificate as standardly issued is good for a year, he made it expire in 3 months. Web-site pictures are misleading, not even close. Lobby attendants not presentable, was putting on his tie as he was checking me in. Night attendant, which is not at the desk but has to be paged was very rough looking, almost scary. It was convenient for the circumstances that I was in. I would say it would be fine. They are accommodating with having kitchenettes. It would be better if the bedroom was separate from the living area with a divider wall,

We had stayed at this hotel 6 years ago and were satisfied at that time. However, this visit was much different. This time the kitchen and bathrooms were dirty. We will not be staying there again.

I booked a queen bed with sofa bed in room. No sofa bed just a chair and the bed was a full sized not a queen and was hard as rock. The bathtub needed to be refinished and the walls in the room were filthy needs new paint or just a scrub down. The rug was filthy, needed to be shampooed. This "no smoking" property was smokier than some casinos! There were no designated smoking areas. People smoked everywhere, and there were ash cans on every stair turn of the 3 story property. Our sink counter had no less than 16 cigarette burns, and the air filter had not been changed since the previous guest had stayed. The textiles (except for the […] bedspread) all had smoke in them. When we used the a/c, which we had to since it was 90+ degrees, the room increased it's level of smoke smell. The second night we slept with the window open and the bathroom fan/light on all night.We were told that room were preassigned and the hotel was sold out, so changing rooms wasn't an option. We walked by another room being serviced on our last day. You could see the haze of smoke. They obviously do not enforce this policy. Also, the kitchen had NO cookware, even tho it boasts a "stove top." 2 sets of dishes and flatware. One colander. Whoopee. My brother's family stayed in the "double double" which is meant to sleep four. It only had 3 sets of dishes. Devamı
