Perfect location for my trip to Jersey, lovely spot right on St Brelades bay. Lots of places to eat close by and convenient for the airport. Staff all very helpful and friendly. Room nice and clean and very comfortable

Only a short stay but very enjoyable. Staff were very good and would go out of there way to assist with anything. Hotel right on the beach so make sure yuo book a sea view,fantastic. Food was good quality.

We had a lovely five night stay,we were in room 106 which had amazing views of St Brelades Bay,the hotel staff I could not fault nothing was to much trouble.we will definately be going back next year hopefully for a bit longer.

Hygiene generally poor: room, bathroom, plates, cutlery, towels Service willing but clumsy: if you drop the toast while putting on the table you then replace it; if a couple sit down for breakfast they shdnt have to wait a significant time before asking staff for coffee: on neither day did staff make an approach. On arrival we received a good welcome and the whole process was thorough and speedy. Suit cases were taken to our room by the porter who was friendly and chatty. Stay was mainly for sleeping as we were out and about;however we did have a room with sea view and balcony, both made the stay very enjoyable. To go to sleep with the sound of the waves and […] then to wake up to such a beautiful view in the morning was amazing. Breakfast was excellent, again the staff were very helpful, polite and friendly. The breakfast waiter arrived with tea and coffee which we ordered; however my partner had gone to the breakfast buffet and the waiter asked if the lady would like her tea poured, which brought a smile to my face and a shock of oops to his face when I said that she was a he. Overall a very pleasant hotel and worth a stay. The hotel car park is not free as described on Expedia, although it does say there is a charge on the hotel web site ( 70p per two hours between 8.00am and 5.00pm in the public car park opposite the hotel, so nothing to worry about). Had a lovely polite & cheerful welcome when we arrived, hotel was very clean and staff very helpful. food was very good.The wonderful st Brelades bay right on your doorstep, what else could you ask for. We had wonderful weather too. Would recommend hotel to anyone. Very good price too. Thanks for a lovely stay. Will be back for another.

The Golden Sands was the best choice we could have made. After arriving, we checked out others we'd looked at, and everytime we decided we'd made the right choice for our honeymoon. Beach proximity was the main factor for us, (not exclusivity or child free) and sand is 5ft away from the hotel. The catering is outstanding (and at a remarkable price for […] the quality of hotel) and the staff are extremely polite and accomodating. In booking continental breakfast is quoted. Infact, buffet full english and/or continental breakfast is served. There are other eateries nearby for variation. The hotel is kept very clean despite the proximity to the beach, and the maid service is efficious yet not intrusive. Fully recommend this choice of hotel/ Devamı

This is a very nice, warm and friendly hotel. The Staff were polite and courteous and the food was very good. When we were there they were under going an inspection to see if they rate being a 4 star hotel. My guess is they will get it as it was definitely worth the extra star. However if you are going to stay at this hotel make sure you get the sea […] view and not an inland view as they call it. The inland view looks over the car park and the main road runs right along the front and I understand can be quite noisy at night. Most of the staff live in and they sleep that side of the hotel to make sure as many seaview rooms are free as possible. The seaview side though is very quiet and although you can hear a little noise from the restaurant and bars at night, there is nothing to worry about. Most of the noise is drowned out but the sea, as the waves hit the beach, which is very relaxing. Each seaview room comes with patio doors that open out onto its own small balcony which you can sit out on and overlook the beach. This is definitely one of the best hotels on the island and the beach is excellent. One thing to remember though is like many of the Jersey hotels they do not have their own car park. This means that you will have to pay for parking. Trouble is they only use scratch card type parking tickets on this island so make sure you have some with you and don’t forget to put one in your car the night before so your covered in the morning otherwise it’s a £30.00 fine. The Golden Sands kann weiterempfohlen werden. Sehr freundliches Personal, recht grosses Zimmer (unbedingt Zimmer auf der Meerseite wählen), neues und modernes Badezimmer (nicht so wie in vielen englischen Hotels). Nur die Minibar haben wir vermisst.Gratis WLAN in der Lobby vorhanden, aber es soll in Kürze auch in den Zimmern verfügbar sein.
