The motel was an oasis in the middle of the "urban jungle". The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. All of the staff were friendly and attentive. My room was comfortable and quiet. Overall this was a great place to spend time.

Wasn't too impressed when we first drove to the site but once inside hotel property was very impressed. The pool area and bird sanctuary (cage) was cool. Rooms were very nice and clean. Husband liked the TV. Would go back again. Surprised no complimentary breakfast. Other than that. It was nice.

This is great place for those looking for a reasonable motel in the Scottsdale-Mesa area. Older but well kept and very clean. All rooms face in towards a nice pool and green courtyard area in the middle of the complex. Would be a real hit if you happen to have kids along. Staff was VERY friendly and helpful!

My husband was pleasantly surprised, saying "this is the nicest Best Western I've ever seen"...pool area is great & staff is very accomodating...we moved after 3 nights b/c of a chain smoke next door from room across the dining rm to other side of the hotel (by parakeet cage)& noticed the room was abit nicer...we will definitely stay here again.

I recently stayed at the Papago inn prior to a job interview and found the property was very nice. My room door stuck every time I attempted entry. I had to body slam the door to get in. Pillows were terrible. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Vending room was locked long after if should have been open making it impossible for us to get a bottle […] of water. We felt as though we really got our money's worth at this Best Western. It was quiet, clean, and nicely furnished.

Although not in a pedestrian friendly area, a quick drive delivers you to downtown Scottsdale with all the restaurants and shopping it is famous for. Easy drive to airport. Driving by you would never guess the shady tropical pool area that exist behind the non-descript hotel facade. The huge parakeet cage near the pool is another nice touch.

Super clean! Super cute! Amazing court yard with birds and great pool! The rooms were super clean and the bed was so comfortable. One of the best hotels I've been to in awhile. We checked in fast and our room was 1st floor beside the beautiful well kept pool area. The room was recently updated. Everything was clean. very close to the Botanical Gardens and Hole in the Mountain where we were going.

Very clean and well maintained property. The parakeet cage in the courtyard was a nice touch. Greeted in the morning by chatter in the desert, very charming.

We loved the pool - heated so grandkids didn't want to come out. However, there is a cage with parakeets close to the pool and they were very loud & annoying, very peaceful site otherwise.

The property is and has been maintained extremely well, with very comfortable bedding. A large parakeet enclosure in the groomed central garden/pool location is a nice touch, with the bird chatter greeting you in the morning.

Close the Desert Botanical Garden. The beds were comfortable except for the square, plump pillows. The setting was lovely with a little garden, pool and aviary around an interior courtyard. The service in the breakfast restaurant was very slow.

We were pleasantly surprised by the updated hotel and beautiful center courtyard. The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. We would definitely stay there again and recommed it to others. We enjoyed breakfast in their restaurant and wished they served lunch and dinner.

Older resort style hotel, very nice location and guests very quiet. Nice beds, quite except for birds in the am which was sort of nice. (Bird aviary outside in main area). Guest services nice. Didn't use gym but have one.

The room was very clean and comfortable. It even had a ceiling fan in the room which I had never seen before in any other hotel. The price was within what we were looking to spend. Wow! This was truly a special place for me and my family. Beautiful courtyard, a nicely appointed room, wonderfully helpful staff. This will be remembered forever by us all. My daughter loved the robe waiting for her. Fit for a princess. My son loved the pool and walking next door to see all the exotic cars. We all loved having breakfast among the parakeets […] while they were singing gently to us, and Dad definitely loved the reasonable price! We would have stayed here our entire vacation had we not set up reservations for later in Tucson. Highly recommended. We will be back. Devamı

The outdoor area was absolutely beautiful with the grass, pool, arboritum, swing and gazebo. We loved our short stay. The only complaint was that the beds are worn out. We were rolling to the center of the bed.

Room was small but nice, attractive bedding and good beds, good TV, counter top refrigerator a plus, great shower head. Courtyard lawn and pool area very pretty and restful. Staff friendly and accommodating. If you need fancy, this is not it...but we found it pleasant and comfortable - would stay here again.

Beds were comfy but the house keeping seemed a little pushy with their "tip envelope" every day but overall a great stay for what it was. Pool, friendly staff, weight room, swing, giant chess set, pool, bar & restaurant.

Four nights in a room that was spacious,clean, with comfortable beds, was a treat. The housekeeping was excellent. The iner courtyard was beautiful. With trees,averary,and pool.

We went to Phoenix for a long weekend getaway and wanted to stay near Old Town Scottsdale. Although an older property is was clean and well maintained. Location was great very close to everything we wanted to do. Great comfortable bed, convenient from car to room, good shower, only gripe was coffee in room was awful. Big. Deal, would stay there again. 1/3 price of the resort I was going to next, the extra 150.00 savings was worthwhile

I booked this at a huge discount over the hotel where we were having a trade show (saved my company over $2K for the four nights). The property looked great on Hotels.com, so we decided to book it. When we drove up to the hotel, I thought that I had made a major mistake, and would never live down this booking, as the property is older and shows its […] age. However, our experience with the front desk clerk (and all staff during our stay) was great. Very friendly and helpful. I was still concerned with what the rooms were going to look like. We got to our room and I had a 1980s pink/black speckled marble countertop with furniture that was I described as 'early castle' -- solid hand-carved wood desk, armoire, and beds. However, even though the property was not appointed with new furnishings (it did have a new flat panel TV), it was EXTREMELY CLEAN and the room was quite large (king room had a sofa in it) and the bed was comfortable. I got feedback from the others in our group (expecting some negative feedback due to aging), they were all pleased with their rooms. There is a nice courtyard within the confines of the property. After our initial trepidation upon arrival, it was a great visit and we would definitely book here again. Devamı
