Rooms are good and vey clean, staff was great in giving ideas what to do and where to go. The only problem was a slow drain in the sink and when maintenance staff fixed it, they put the stuff clogging the drain in the bathtub and didn't clean it up. Bathroom sink clogged...Maintenance went up to fix it...Emptied the contents in the bath tub splattering the contents over the wall and in the tub...It was just left there and was GROSS... Told to the front desk and it was cleaned immediately...At the supper that evening a lady at the counter came and asked if we were the party that had problem with […] the clogged sink and what followed...She told us that the manager would be coming over and talking to us (note: he was less than 30 feet away)...He never came over... We absolutely loved our time at this hotel! The free breakfast was excellent and had a wonderful selection. It was great for families wanting to stay on the riverwalk at a reasonable rate. The Happy Hour snacks were also fantastic. We enjoyed the rooftop pool several times. The hotel had a great location right on the Riverwalk. The room was a little dated in style and furnishings but very clean. The hotel staff provided outstanding service and made good recomendations on place to visit and restaurants. The part I liked most about this hotel , the parking garage was right outside our door , making access very easy . Would stay at this hotel if we visit San Antonio again .

The hotel and the rooms weren't the best ever but it was a great price, and fantastic location. Loved the happy hour with lots of snacks (enough for a meal!) and THREE free drinks per person! Staff was helpful and friendly too! Great deal right on the Riverwalk in downtown San Antonio!

A great place to stay if visiting San Antonio. You can walk right out onto the Riverwalk from the Hotel and it's very near locations like Howl At The Moon, The Hard Rock Cafe, Dick's Last Resort, and a number of great places to eat.

We spent two nights here during one of the hottest months in San Antonio history. Checkin was quick and easy. I was a little concerned at first because our room was next to the elevator, but we never heard any noise from it at all. The hotel seemed well kept enough, but it was old and tired. It is in desperate need of updating. The room was not clean, there were popcorn remnants around the mattress and on the floor. I booked this hotel based on it's description and reviews I read on hotels.com. Having never been to San Antonio and having my boys with me location and amenities was a priority for us. We arrived before 3pm but was still able to check-in and go to our room. We asked to have a room overlooking the Riverwalk and was given one. The free 5:30 kickback […] (which included 3 free drinks for both my mom and me) and free breakfast really helped save us money on the trip. The location of the hotel is the best. A short walk to the Alamo and right next to a river cruise ticket location. The elevator in the hotel goes down the the riverwalk level so it was so convenient. Wonderful location and great stay. The breakfast and afternoon snacks are great and can really save your family some money on food. this is a great place to stay if you want to make your moneies worth! i loved it, it was great the food its good and free in the morning and in the afternoon. ofcourse its not super great but remeber its free... and also the location is great. i really like it i would recomemded to anyone that has family or even if you are alone.

Picked this hotel based on former customer reviews, and their rating was well-justified. Hotel is clean and well-run. Staff are friendly, helpful and accommodating. Location is perfect, literally steps away from the Riverwalk, and within easy walking distance of most San Antonio attractions. Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed the Drury Inn and Suites Riverwalk greatly. A grand old hotel in great condition, and perfectly located on the Riverwalk. 12 foot ceilings in well appointed rooms. The Staff is great, the free breakfast and evening snacks an added value. Absolutely recommend it.

Staff were very courteous and nice, morning breakfast was complete and delicious, great access to the Riverwalk. Pool and hot tub were very nice. Overall, an 8 out of 10.

I have stayed in several hotels in the downtown area of San Antonio in the last few months. This is the best value in the area. Especially if you have kids. The free breakfast and snack/dinner is perfect for families. WiFi is free. You do have to pay for parking, but that is standard for most hotels on the Riverwalk and it is a reasonable rate. I stayed […] at a supposedly nicer hotel down the street, and there is a charge for everthing such as wifi, bottle water left in the room, and you either have to use valet parking or self park in public parking across the street. The pool is on the top floor. While it is not a large pool, the view is wonderful and there is plenty of area around the pool to sit and enjoy the experience. This hotel was beautiful and had such an amazing location, but the parking spaces were too small. It was very difficult to get into the space and out of the space.

Very good location and comfortable room. Breakfast and dinner provided. The parking was only 15$ per night. We really enjoyed our stay.

Loved the Hotel and staff. They gave us a suite room even though Hotels.com had not reserved it that way.

Hotel was priced very reasonably. The location is perfect, walk out to the riverwalk. The rooftop pool and hot tub was just what we needed. Will definitely stay here again.

The hotel was conveniently located on the Riverwalk. Overall stay was good. Having to walk past the bus stop during busy times to get to the hotel was a little insecure. Staff was great and very accomodating.

My family and I enjoyed our stay , it was clean, close to everything, and being able to have breakfast right there was great and the snack at night were great as well. We will stay there again.

A very pleasant surprise! We could park on the same level as our room; we could access a luggage cart right inside the door and carry all our belongings and cat items in one trip. I recently stayed here with my daughter and 89 year old mother and the staff couldn't have been nicer. They were on top of everything. Breakfast was scrumptious and they waited on you all the time. My husband, six year old son and I recently spent six nights at the Drury Inn & Suites Riverwalk in San Antonio, Texas. It was the most perfect vacation with a wonderful hotel. The hotel is in a prime location, with access to both the street level and the riverwalk. It felt so safe, you need your key card to enter either door. The hotel was a really nice place to stay. The only reason I didn't give it a full five rating in service was it took forever to get our room made up the second day. The free evening food is good but not great. We had a choice of hot dogs and baked potatoes. You do get three free alcoholic drinks of your choice per evening. Just make sure you get a […] drink card from the desk when you check in. Breakfast was good with a nice variety of hot and cold food. The morning breakfast staff was great. Once you told them you wanted a waffle they would cook it and bring it to your table. They always had a smile for you. The location was great. The rooms were clean and very spacious. We were very impressed with the staff in San ANtonio. THey were very friendly, pleasant and helpful!

Wonderful location, good parking, free evening appetizers and drinks and free breakfast were a plus. Rooms were clean and quiet. Would stay there again.

My partner and I spent a few days at this hotel and really enjoyed ourselves. The reception and dining staff were so helpful, friendly and informative... what a credit to the hotel. We also used the hotel bar and restaurant. We have eaten steak at restaurants all over the USA but my partner stated that his steak was the best one he had ever been served […] any where! Hotel was nice...I do not recommend parking in parking garage...my vehicle was side swapped because of tight parking space...Excellent service by staff...I would recommend staying in middle rooms as opposed to ends because of exit doors being opened and closed make plenty of noise...Plenty of entertainment and eating locations near by...

In fairness it is an old hotel, but the look is almost depressing. There are only two elevators and you'll spend a lot of time waiting for it at peak times. The evening "5:30" free drinks and dinner is a cattle call, seriously. The food tasted like it had been cooked days before, the line long, the drinks even the beer, were bad. We couldn't eat or […] drink what they provided. This was upsetting as one of the reasons we booked the hotel...to save money on breakfast and dinner. The river side is very very noisy as there is a city bus stop just a few yards away and they stop every few minutes. The river side also is the route for the expected drunks on the Riverwalk. The bathroom water would run cold and then very hot. This was the worst! The mattress was so soft, it was like something out of a sitcom...it just folds in where you sit or lay. The staff was very nice, especially management and the garage is great. Many hotels in this area don't offer a garage, so that was really nice. In the end, we wouldn't stay in downtown SA again.
