NH Grand Hotel Verdi - Milan

Nice hotel only 10m mins walk from city centre. Good value for money. Hotel staff also helpful in taking delivery of footbal tickets for me priop to my visit.

The pictures in internet showing nice rooms, in the reallity, the rooms are very old-fashioned. The air conditioner did not work. The room smelled very unpleasant (unpleasant odor). The hotel is situated very centrally.

We stayed in the hotel in May 2011 and on entering the hotel it was clear that the reception staff were going to be extremely pleasant and helpful. Our room was a really good size, but was slightly tired- the seating by the table looked quite old and the bathroom whilst very clean needed a new seal around the bathtub (the bathtub was also huge!) the […] room was extremely comfortable. The breakfast included was really good and was served from 7 to 11 and was replenished regularly. Location wise it is located a 3 minute walk from lots of restaurants and bars, and you can walk into the centre by the cathedral in about 20 minutes. The weather was so good we never bothered about getting the metro so I can't comment on that. There are lots of reviews moaning about wifi, and yes they do charge for it in your room, but you get 30 mins free in the reception area if you need to check your emails. One thing to watch on this hotel is if you are a light sleeper it is next to a busy road. All in all I would stay there again. Devamı

Hotel was very good. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very satisfactory. Only thing is that road side rooms are disturbing bcs. of traffic sounds. From hotel to city center, 20-25 min. So if you don't like to walk, choose another hotel.

Our second stay in this hotel. Close to main train station, good sized rooms. We were upgraded to large suite when complained that people had been smoking in our room. Rooms are modern and minimalistic but stylish. Very much a business hotel but fine for our visit. Surrounding area, Corso Como is changing and a number of good restaurants and bars walking […] distance. Need to use taxi, bit of walk to metro station. The Hotel was well Located for night life, we had v.good size rooms, clean, and staff was helpfull. I would personaly use this Hotel again.

I start to like the nh hotels. The staff was more than friendly even with a check in at 2am and check out at 5am. The stay had everything i expected and the breakfast buffet was sufficient and tasty.

Schönes Zimmer, guter Service, tolles Frühstück, einziges Manko das Quartier ist gerade im Bauboom, aber Metrostation gut gelegen, nahe Bahnhof.

The room was excellent, it was nicely furnished, huge and clean. It was a 10-15 minutes walk to pl. San Marco with some trendy bars. Heading towards the duomo, we passed a lot of nice cozy looking restaurants. The Duomo was half an hour walk. While walking you will pass some shops and restaurants so it's not that bad.

I can glad recomend the hotel to other, very kind personal. Near to most places. Nice and tasty breakfast. Spacy and clean rooms.

Huone oli oikein tilava ja hyvin varustettu ja kylpyhuone jopa ylellinen. Tosin vedenpaine oli saanut olla suurempi. Kadunpuolen huoneeseen tuli jonkin verran liikenteen melua. Aamiainen oli loistava, yksi parhaista. Palvelu ystävällistä ja avuliasta ja englanti sujui hyvin. Voisimme tulla uudestaankin.

Hôtel très confortable, propre, bien entretenu. L'équipe d'accueil est sympathique et efficace. Le quartier (quartier d'affaire) n'est pas très agréable et sans charme pour le week-end, mais probablement très pratique pour un déplacement professionnel. Métro à quelques minutes à pieds ; centre ancien à 20 minutes à pieds environ.

A very good hotel in my opininion regarding the room size, it's design, comfort, quality and the breakfast buffet. Generally the hotel is very new and in a pleasant state. The location is in between central railway station, close to an underground (300m), a longer walk to the city center (dome, etc.) and just right next to part of Milans nightlife. […] This area not only offers a number of well visited bars and clubs, as well as restaurants, pizzerias and smaller shops.
