Sleep Inn Beaufort - Beaufort

Very enjoyable stay and very nice hotel for the money. I would stay there again.

Hotel in need of repair, including the rooms. We were charged a $20 a night pet fee, which we weren't told about upon checking in. Rooms are old, carpet old and needs replacing. Pool was closed, put a wood deck over the hot tube. Beds very uncomfortable, air condition very hard to work because it needed repair. No bath tubs just showers.

Although the staff was very helpful and friendly, I was quite surprised that so many previous reviews rated the hotel so highly. The property is badly in need of remodeling. Just one example of this is the carpet throughout; it's badly stained and worn. Also, we were disappointed that neither the pool or hottub had any water in it. Wow. I don't know what other reviewers saw to keep the rating in the upper 3s. This is the first time I have felt really misled by the guest ratings. This place looks decent from the outside and, at one time, may have been pretty good, but the room I stayed in was VERY worn and in need of reno. The king room layout was pretty good, the bed and pillows […] were comfortable, and the TV was good. BUT, the carpets were shot, dirty, and 'bunching up'. Also, there was a strong 'mildew' or 'musty' smell. If it hadn't been a late check-in for one night, I would have asked for a new room or left for a different hotel. There are some much newer and nicer hotels a couple of miles away, it may be worth the money to check them out. Devamı

We stayed for our son's graduation from Parris Island. The staff was very friendly. The room was well appointed and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and they start it early so that people can head to Parris Island. The hotel was a short distance from Parris Island and an easy commute. Most disgusting room and hotel ever. I had to buy stuff from the store to make to room and least to where I wouldn't throw up.

The room was clean and the employees friendly. Hotel close to the Marine base and plenty of restaurants and shopping.

The front staff was wonderful and understanding to all of our needs. The hotel was clean and convenient. We did however have an issue with the bathroom door being broken, and not closing without great effort. It didn't really affect us so we didn't complain. The hotel is old and needs updating. Our room had an airconditioner that was so loud we could barely sleep. Also, the refrigerator was in competition with the ac to see which could be louder..........we finally unplugged it. Nice helpful girl at the front desk.

My 2nd stay in this hotel - very comfortable and clean. The staff are exceptionally helpful. Will stay again.

My stay was a very good experience. I was welcome from the very beginning to the very end. I was here for my son's Marine graduation and the whole experience was remarkable and unforgettable.

A nice stay

This was my 1st time in Beaufort so I didnt know what to expect. My stay here was very pleasing and the hotel clerk was very friendly thats always a plus. The room was very clean, it didnt have a tub but it had an updated shower that was very cute. This location was in the middle of everything and not far from the waterfront park. Just stayed at this hotel during my visit to Beaufort for my brother's graduation from boot camp. It was a lovely hotel. Every single member of the staff was courteous and helpful making me feel like I had really picked a great place to stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone!!

HI, I STAYED AT THE SLEEP INN IN BEAUFORT ON THE 8-9 SEPT 2011. WHILE SEARCHING FOR A ROOM TO STAY THE NIGHT FOR MY SONS MARINE CORP GRADUATION I READ REVIEWS FOR OTHER HOTELS IN THE AREA. ALOT OF THE REVIEWS TALKED OF ROOMS HAVING BED BUGS. AFTER FINDING THE SLEEP INN ON HOTELS .COM I READ THE REVIEWS FOR IT ALSO, A FEW MENTIONED BED BUGS IN THE ROOMS […] BUT NOT AS MANY AS OTHER HOTEL SITES IN THE AREA. I WAS VERY CAUTIOUS AFTER CHECKING IN. I DID NOT BRING ANY BAGS OR PERSONAL ITEMS INTO THE ROOM UNTIL I CHECKED THE BEDS FOR BUGS. I WAS IN ROOM 124 THERE WERE 2 TINY BLACK BUGS CRAWLING ACROSS THE SHEET ON ONE OF THE BEDS. I CALLED THE FRONT DESK AND THEY SWITCHED MY ROOM ACROSS THE HALL TO ROOM 123. iN THAT ROOM I DID NOT FIND ANY BUGS BUT THE ROOM FELT DAMP AND HAD A MUSTY ODER. IF CHECKING INTO THIS OR ANY HOTEL I URGE ANYONE TO DO SO WITH CAUTION. ONCE YOU CARRY BED BUGS HOME WITH YOU ITS A NIGHTMARE EXTERMINATING THEM. I enjoyed my stay with Sleep Inn very much. Lovely breakfast, and nice and friendly workers. They have a sauna and a hot tub! Definitely recommend this hotel.

Very convenient to Parris Island Marine Corp Training Facility. Staff was extremely responsive, even moving up the schedule of breakfast to accommodate the early morning activities at the base. Good restaurants nearby, and "Luthers" has fabulous burgers!

This was the worst place I have ever stayed. The room, number 130 was so stink and damp that i had to cut my stay short. I could not spend another night in that place.I will never stay at that hotel again.

we got to breakfast one morning 20 minutes before it closed, and food wasn't being replenished- the woman running the area was annoyed when i asked for a few things. the next morning Sue was working breakfast along with the front desk area- she was right on top of things- everything was available, she replenished the food, she was very personable. overall […] we enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast were GREAT. The only downfall was the water pressure in the shower......not that strong. Orther than that is just a great experience.

Pool chairs damaged and useless

Overall my experience was pleasant! I received wonderful customer service at check-in, overnight, and check-out. The staff was very friendly. I did not go down for breakfast but I heard that it was decent and plentiful. My room and bathroom area was clean. My only complient would be the order that lingers as you enter the hotel and through the hallways. […] But once you're in your room the order disappears. Very strange. This hotel was convient, but it smelled like BO through-out the hallways. In the room it was dirty, the sliding door on the bathroom was broken and I felt like I was going to get stuck inside. We booked this hotel room because they had a pool and they allowed dogs. The pool was nasty and full of bugs, they never had towels in the towel cabinet for the […] pool. The excercise room looked dangerous, there was even a sign on one of the machines claiming that it was dangerous and it wasn't safe to use. I would not reccomend this hotel to anyone I know, it really needs a BIG renovation!! Devamı

The hotel was very close to downtown Beaufort. It was a short drive both to the Marine base and Hunting Island. No housekeeping issues. We will return to this hotel the next time we are down.

Great location. Fine room. Staff friendly. Nice marshland view from our room.

The hotel was clean, staff friendly, breakfast nice, even though we went to a full breakfast, which eating places are near in walking distance. $20/night for my 8# Pom was a bit much, price of hotel is comprabable to other hotels in the area.

The hotel was convenient to downtown yet quiet. The beds were comfortable and the room was dark for sleeping. The in-room refrigerator was spacious. The breakfast bar was quite good, and Internet access was convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay at this hotel again.

clean, comfortable, close to downtown and parris island, even had a sauna in the workout room. nice hot tub and pool. we had a handicapped room that was beautiful. highly recommend. staff was GREAT, especially AMY.

If you are looking at saving money and don't mind an average low budget hotel this would be for you. It saved us about $350 over the Hilton Garden Inn where I prefer to stay.

This hotel was lovely. My fiancé and I went down for memorial day weekend from ky to beaufort sc. We decided to go last minute, booked the hotel online Saturday afternoon and arrived at 3am Sunday morning. The bed was comfy with lots of pillows (but we bring our own) and the room was clean, with a nice view of the pool area and some lowlands out the […] window. Breakfast was good, but the microwave, fridge and coffee pot in the room put this hotel over the top. A great bargain, we would definitely return! Devamı

This hotel had great amenities for the money. Breakfast was well stocked and maintained. The hotel provided us a Park Pass for the State Park so we would not have to pay. We went down for my nephews Boot Camp graduation for the Marines. This hotel staff was polite, professional and customer service was their first priority. My only downfall was that dogs were allowed there, and an owner did not take care of their pet properly while there. But my personal stay there was wonderful. Thank you.

My first stay at Sleep Inn Beaufort and I was inpressed with the cost, cleaniness of the room, and the service. Will definitely stay here again if my travels bring me to this srea.

The hotel seemed nice, good service from the staff and comfy rooms. And it seemed pretty clean BUT we had roaches in our room multiple times in two days and there were dead roaches in the hallway both days as well. The hotel does not have outside hallways and we were on the third floor, so either they were getting in on the first floor and up the stairs […] or they must have been coming in through the walls--neither of which is good. I told the front desk about it and they did not seem concerned and did not send anyone to check things out. This is SC, so I understand that roaches happen but it seemed like this was really at odds with the overall cleanliness of the hotel. Devamı
