Motel 6 Shaw Ave & Hwy 99 - Fresno

The room was really clean and smelled great.We enjoyed our stay especially after a long day on the road. Thankyou!

The motel was convenient to the freeway and the stores we needed. However, the stopper in the bathtub didn't work, and neither did the heating/cooling unit. Everything else was fine and it served the purpose for a good price.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was very noisy(traffic) and difficult to get in and out of. Room was minimal but what do you expect for not much money?

Tiniest bathroom I ever saw..but workable.. Staff was gracious when I reported a minor incident. They were quick to respond and even offered to move us which was not necessary. .It was important for me to take my companion dog with me and the grounds were perfect for us to go for walks. Thank you

took the business room thanks to another review. could also hear the trains as someone else mentioned (i kinda liked that too). other than that it was clean, simple, well priced and what you'd expect from a motel 6. would have no hesitation staying again for a night.

This place is pretty cool I like it. Its good for the price and it can save you a pretty penny if your on a budget. I do recommend getting the business king bed because its away from the freeway, I said that because I stayed in a king bedroom one time and it was right behind the freeway which can be very annoying but if your a deep sleeper you shouldn't […] have a problem :).. staff is always friendly to me. One thing I dislike was one time I checked into my room and it was suppose to be a non smoking room and it smelled like cigarette all around, but what do you expect from motel 6 right? lol overall I did enjoy my stay hope this helps enjoy the stay. The accessibility to the freeway was great. What you get for the price you pay was good. You basically pay for what you get. It was not a bad stay. We could have used a few more towels in the room. I felt there were not enough for a two bed room rental. A simple coffee pot with coffee would be great also. It was ok.

The motel room was very good for the price I paid. All I was looking for was a nights rest. But that was what I could not get at this place. There was a car that was beeping outside every 15 minutes until 2-3 in the morning. It was unthinkable that this could not be stopped. And yet no one would do anything and it went on ringing loudly. My room was ok. Seems like most motels don't get the bathroom as clean as they could. My room was along freeway side and onramp. Very hard to sleep.

It was okay for the money - lacked the basics like shampoo and a hair dryer, which is okay if I know about it up front to be prepared (which I was not), luckily hair dryers are cheap and there was a store down the road a bit

I have stayed in this Motel 6 a number of times when visiting family in Fresno. Very clean and well kept. Staff friendly and informative.

An ok motel with large rooms. Our room was not so clean.

such a lovely decorated room. we were expecting much less from a Motel 6 chain room. even the wooden floors impressed us. thank you again!

Basic amenities, as expected. Everything worked well - in-room fridge, internet, etc. Good work space. Very satisfied.

IT WAS EASY TO FIND AND THERE WAS PLENTY OF STORES AND EATING PLACES CLOSE BY. STAYED ONE NIGHT ON OUR WAY TO KINGS CANYON PARK. MIGUEL AT FRONT DESK WAS VERY HELPFUL IN TELLING US WHERE TO EAT AND SUCH. OUR ROOM WAS UPGRADED AT NO CHARGE SO WE COULD HAVE A FIRST FLOOR ROOM. WE WOULD STAY AGAIN WITHOUT A DOUBT. THANKS MIGUEL

MOTEL 6...you expect basic and that's what you receive. Room was clean location was great. TV reception could have been better. AC was great. Fwy noise was a non issue. I wish they would give you a receipt showing "no charges" on cc for incidentals.

This hotel was a stop on our way home from a very long drive. Very clean with very clean pool. The staff was very nice. I have only one complaint and that was that we asked for a non smoking room. I don't know if we didn't get one, but the left over smoke smell was in the linens and as soon as we entered the room. Couldn't air it out... Decent comfort and location. The only thing to consider is that you need your own shampoo and you should ask for a room that doesn't face the street in the back if you plan on sleeping in late. The pillows were also a bit flat, but overall this hotel is worth the price.

Of course, it's a Motel 6, and yes, it's right beside the highway, but I didn't hear any noise. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool is small, but it is clean and well maintained. For the small amount of money, this is a perfectly fine hotel. I would be happy to stay there again. :-)

one of the best motel 6 i have stayed at. highly reccomend it if you are in that area. comes with fridge, micro, and has a clean pool!

This is exactly what you would expect for a Motel 6. Clean rooms nice staff and very few extras. They had a nice pool that was small but clean. The rooms were spartan but clean and the showers worked well. If you are looking for a good place for a shower and sleep at a good price in Fresno this is the ticket.

When we arrived at the hotel we found that the room that we were to stay in was not what we expected. We thought our room would have a refrigerator. We asked if we could pay a little more to upgrade to a room that had a refrigerator. At first the clerk said that we would need to go through the company that we booked with. No gripes with cleanliness, or overall room quality, but this motel might as well have been built at the end of runway 24 at LAX. Traffic noise is terrible. I'm not a light sleeper, but even with earplugs this was a no-go.

Hotel .com did a very poor job in this case. Did not provide booking requested. Asked for no smoking got smoking, asked for accessable room got non accessasble. Called to inquire and complain spoke with Hotel.com staffer ....no follow up. Nver AGAIN, would not recommend HOTEL>COM to a hard up HOBO.

The hotel was very close to the freeway in which you can hear every car passing by. If you're the kind of person that like quiet nights, this hotel isn't for you. The walls are so hollow you can hear your neighbor whipser. Wouldn't recommend to a friend.
