The hotel rooms were not clean. Smelled like cigarette smoke. Towels were missing.. Shampoo missing on second night in second room. TV remotes were missing or did not work. Lamp bulbs were burned out. Caulk around tub was pulled out and loose in tub. Anti-slip mat in tub was black with mold. The service was very slow at night when I checked in. It took them a while ti find the paper work and when they did they never directed me to my room or told me about the breakfast available in the morning. In the room it was just plain dingy, for example the toilet paper roll was attached to the wallpaper and not even the wall itself, just glued there. […] Luckily, I just slept there and left but I would never stay there again. rooms are good for the price. i asked for a fridge and microwave n room and was given neither one wifi worked in room even tho i was told it might not. no towels or wash clothes were given lucky we brought our own. i would stay here again just be prepared.

I woke up being bitten while asleep in bed by some bugs. This will not be a second stay

No towles in my room, no heat (in the middle of winter) , no TV remote. Very poor service. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone and will not stay at any Ramada in th future.

This was the worst hotels experience ever!! We booked blindly visiting albany for the first time, hotels has all the makings ex, beautiful granite counters with a large lobby, ballroom ect. Unfortunately the kids running the place seem uninterested. "continental breakfast" with no beverages. The food was on the counter when we checked in at midnight […] the night prior complete with crumbs from the morning leftover. We got to our room and there was only one towel, called front desk with room phone and no one answered three consecutive times, so my husband finally called with his cell and they answered!! The door to the room was loose and not secure at all. I went cause it was cheap. Might have been wiser to pay that additional twenty dollars. Would I go again? If I were cheap, yes.

Very poor. No signage on the building. Located behind another business. Dirty and very disappointed for a Ramada Inn. Ended up canceling reservation and going somewhere else!!

This is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. It is run down, dirty and just awful!

We choose this hotel mostly for its location, but were not pleased with the overall stay. Our room had no light in the bathroom and the tub took 15 minutes to drain following a shower. Calling the desk, we got a busy signal for 30 minutes and had to go down to the desk. Nothing was done when we came back 3 hours later. So, if you take anything from this review...I do not suggest you stay here! Our 1st room had a broken heater and the 2nd was even scarier. We were on the 1st floor next to the lobby and immediately noticed too much foot traffic from vagrants, residents, and what we thought were prostitutes. Then at 10pm there was a fight with doors slamming and threats […] to call the police...which I wish they would have. Not much later, there was a female (whom we noticed earlier) knocking on our door around 11pm. Of course, we didn't answer, but call the front desk only to have them confirm that she wasn't staying there and agree she was a bother to many guests. She continued to walk the hotel slamming the lobby door next to our room and occasionally knock on our door. By the morning the front desk did not care as it was a new shift. I asked for non-smoking, and they gave me that, but it REEKED from smoke. The next room also reeked, but had a damp moldy dustty smell - Gross... it was about midnight when I checked in, so I decided to make the best of it. The room had huge Dirty stains on the carpet in many areas of room. That carpet was so old and worn, it should have been replaced […] a long time ago. Lots of Black mold in the shower in all corners of the tub, including on the ceiling! Big chunks of something unrecognizable under bathroom vanity/sink counter. Towels weren't all folded, the cord was haphazardly wrapped around the iron. Clearly, they don't know how to clean or prepare a room . I requested a wake up call at 7am. I never received it. When I checked out, the hotel clerk didn't even look up to establish eye contact. He didn't ask me how my stay was, nothing. He had in his records that I was staying in a completely different room than the first and second room that they gave me. This is one hotel to avoid at all costs - never again for me. I've paid less and gotten much better service in a much better room in this area. I thought Ramada was much better than this... Devamı

I had to change my room 3 times before they got me in room that actually had at least a towel and i it and I didn't get locked in.

This Ramada did not compare favorably with other Ramadas I have visited. The breakfast area was messy and untidy. The food looked unappetizing.

this hotel was a complete disaster. an animal had taken a bite out of a chair in the room, it was not at all sanitary.

Our room had not heat. It was dirty. We had no towels or shampoo. We asked for our rooms to be close together and they were at opposite ends of the hotel. The staff acted like they didn't know what they were doing. The breakfast was discusting! There were flies all over all the food. I will never stay there again!!!!

I had reserved a non-smoking room and the room I stayed in was clearly smoking. There was no other option as the desk clerk told me all rooms were booked in the area due to a BAR exam being given. There was no number on my door so I just had to guess which was mine by looking at surrounding doors. The room stank. The carpet had a large stain by the […] front door and the whole carpet was damp as if it been shampooed but not dried. The tv didn't work. And the bed felt damp due to the carpet. And there was a cigarette burn on the bed cover. Gross. Oh, and the directions given when I called were ridiculously circuotous when I later looked on a map. Devamı

I really hate to complain, and I'm usually good about going with the flow ... but I would never stay here again. It was more than a little scary. Many of the safety lights outside the rooms were burnt out. Parts of the building's facade were falling off and/or missing entirely. Peeling paint outside, and peeling wallpaper inside. All of the ice machines […] on the premesis were broken, but the staff was nice enough to get ice for me from their kitchen. And please don't go anywhere near the pool. It's brown and green from algae (or worse), and looks like it hasn't been cleaned in several months. Inside the room, one of the beds had some kind of bugs or something (which I didn't realize until i woke up in the middle of the night). Not fun. I booked the room for my wife and daughter. When they got there, the first room was horrible so they gave them another room which was alittle better. It looked like they did a low budget renovation. The bathroom sink looked like it was installed without caulking it. The pool was brown and there were no chairs around it. There was a water leak in the […] bathroom, after showering there was a pool of water on the floor. The TV was green and there was no remote or way to adjust the TV. The carpeting was damp. The front desk personnel were very friendly, the hotel was convenient to the highway, and the beds were comfy and clean. The downside: Motel is old, carpets dirty, rooms small, TV stuck in a green tint, pool closed, ice machines broken (they provide ice for you at the front desk) and bath towels just slightly larger than wash cloths. Clean with comfortable beds Great Stay Thanks!

When we entered the lobby we immediately noticed that it has not been cleaned in some time. There was a layer of crud in it sitting area and a lot of garbage under the refrigerators in the store area. We then checked in and went to our room. All the rooms are exterior rooms and ours was on the other side of the property so we got a good look of the […] condition of the buildings and grounds. The exterior was in dire need of repair. The water in the pool was a dirty green. When we got to our room we opened the door we found that someone was already in this room!!!! Luckily the person was not in the room at the time but all their belongings were!!! We went back to the office to tell the clerk about this. She then started arguing with the housekeeping lady that another room needed to be cleaned. The the housekeeping lady gave a few rooms that were empty but the clerk keep on saying, that room is out of order, the toilet does not work. Another room was flooded, another room the TV did not work. Finally they found another room. When we got into the new room it was filthy. There was human excrement all over the toilet. The housekeeping lady came by the room to see if everything was okay. We told her that the room was filthy and she then started to complain that management won't hire more staff and the boy already went home and that she can not do all the work. At that point we had enough. We called hotels.com and they were nice enough to move our reservations to a different hotel and get our money back for this one. Devamı

Fitness center has no air conditioner, breakfast room smoke detectors need batteries. I complained several times about each. Swimming pool is closed. However, the hotel is in a convenient location for my job, which is to the north.

We recently needed a room for the weekend. Our son was graduating from RPI. Even after forgetting until the last week.. I got enough rooms for all the people in my party. The young lady at front desk was very helpful and more than happy to help.One of our ac units broke and were immediately switched to a new room with working unit. The staff a the hotel were very nice. The room was excellent for the value. Internet access was free. The only complaint was that the overall outside of the hotel needed to be fixed up. All in all, however, it was a good value.

A very nice place to rest your head. I arrived late in the evening and left early the next morning but overall a nice hotel. And a nice breakfast in the morning.

Even though we made reservations and had already paid for the room, the heat was not turned on. It took a couple of hours for the room to warm up so we could get in bed. Other than that it was quiet and comfy beds.

The guy in the next room knocked on our door to move our car so he could put his motorcycle in his room!! Most run down Ramada I have ever stayed in. Would not recommend this place at all!!! Rating was misleading not a 2 1/2 star quality.

I was looking for a reasonably priced hotel to sleep at overnight and got just what I paid for

We chose to stay here the weekend of 8/27/2010. We were in the area to attend a concert at Saratoga Performing Arts Center and go to the Travers Stakes at the racetrack. Because it was Travers weekend, the hotels in Saratoga were either already booked months in advance or way over-priced. We selected the Ramada because of it's low price and relatively […] easy drive to Saratoga. Overall the motel is in major need of upkeep/maintenance and general attention to detail. --toilet paper holder was barely hanging on to the wall by a thread of wallpaper --caulking around tub was half off --continental breakfast provided cups without any fitting lids. (There were lids, they just didn't fit any of the cups!) Yes, these are all little problems, but they are little problems that could easily be fixed if the management was paying attention to detail! And they make you wonder what other problems does the motel have that you *can't* see. If you need a cheap motel near Troy/Albany/Saratoga that's convenient to the highway, and don't mind a lot of deferred maintenance, this is for you. I expect a bit more from a chain motel. Devamı

Breakfast was adequate. Nice to have a pool - the landscape setting around the pool was really peaceful. rocks that they had an internet lounge - really, really useful. they even have a small mini-mart. nice touch.

This is listed as the Ramada but it is not owned or operated by the ramada. As I listed in the previous questions there were mistakes and uncleanliness. I would not stay there again or recommend this hotel.

This hotel certainly needs renovated, but the room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. If you are using a GPS to find it, the entrance is about 200ft down the road if coming from the south. They have a new style Ramada sign.

awesome deal!!!! but the room wasnt the cleanest. Ok as a quick stop-over. Nice amount of channels on the TV.

First of all I get there and we waited for the front desk clerk to show up, we get in to our room and realized that is was a smoking room when we asked for a non-smoking room. My boyfriend looks for the remote and he looked under the bed and found a dirty sock. I am looking around and found someone's paper work that was there the night before. In the […] bathroom on the back side of the door there was dried on snot. At that point we packed and asked for another room. The clerk the gave us another key to another room which we could not get into (the lockes were not working) So then we went back to the clerk and he brought us to another room, then he called us in five minutes telling us the heater does not work in that room. So, then he brings us to another room as soon as you walking to the room there is a water stain on the rug. The bathroom had mold growing in (which they just painted over) and the thing that you turn the water on was broken. Plus, the drain thing that stops the water from going down the drain so that you can take a bath was broken. So all in all I will never be going back there again and I recommend anyone that thinks about going to the Ramada in Latham don't. Cocoa's is cheaper and nicer. Devamı

I was passing through Albany with my family with two children in tow. This hotel was quick, comfortable and Jayden everything we needed for a price that couldn't be beat. This wasn't a top notch hotel or anything but the staff was great, the beds were comfy and the room was clean. Most importantly the price was about 30% cheaper than anything in the […] area. The bathroom could have used some work but that was my only real complaint. But I wasn't expecting the Hyatt or anything. Devamı

This hotel is a great deal! I highly recommend this hotel as it was cheap, clean and in a good neghborhood. The stafff was prompt and helpful.
