hotel was clean, staff was very helpful, hotel was about a 1\4 mile from the strip and many attractions. It had a swimming pool and a hot tub and towels down by the pool. it had a shuttle that would take you to the Mandalay Bay from the hotel and then pick you up and bring you back. it was a great stay, plus it had free wifi and cable TV

First off, our early check-in was greatly appreciated and we were well attended by Jay at the desk. Thank you for all the help. Secondly, our room was very spacious and clean. Bathroom was nice and shower (no bathtub) was perfect large size. The location was great for us because we mostly attended MGM hotel events so it was a very short cab ride but […] if you want to walk you can't because the sidewalk cuts off so cab drivers aren't excited about dropping you off 4 blocks away. This was only an overnight stay, but the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, breakfast choices were good & fresh, and the service was great. The only downside was that the room never really cooled off. The air would kick on, run for awhile, shut off, and in a few seconds it would start all over again. Very good service at check in, room very nicely appointed and comfortable, good breakfast, quiet hotel. They have a shuttle bus that goes to Tropicana and Mandalay Bay hotels which gets you across the freeway and onto the strip. Pool is freezing cold due to being shaded for much of the day. I would definitely stay here again.

I did not like the stay room did not have a view only to pool area. Bathroom was not clean. Needed toilet paper and towels will not be back there ever!

Staff was helpful and friendly - Only Negative was the room was small and cramped with double (not queen) beds. For the price we would have like a little more space. The location is great for access for the "Strip" and to I-15.

Found the hotel to be well located: close to the Las Vegas strip but not on it. Shuttle over to the strip was usually convenient. The breakfast area appears too small to handle the crowds of people that were staying there. We later stayed at a hotel on the strip to see what that was like, but wished we had just stayed longer at the Hampton Inn.

Really nice hotel, great service, everyone that works there has possitive attitudes. The hotel is really pretty, clean, and confertable. The best part was free breakfast.

I absolutely loved my stay. The staff was great, room was nice, bed was comfortable, breakfast was good, free WiFi, free gym, laundry, free shuttle to strip and airport, and most importantly to me SMOKE FREE! I had a gentleman ask if he could join me at a dining table while I was taking a break to have a salad and I told him sure. I then observed him […] sitting in the chair checking to how the ease would be moving around in the area so I assumed he was possibly a supervisor. I later found out he was actually the GM. I was very impressed with him taking the time out to make sure his guests would be comfortable while dining. All of the stafff demonstrated some of the best customer service I have seen or experienced in my life time. I definitely will return to this hotel when I return to Vegas. Staff was very friendly and very clean. Was a great stay both times just off the strip but very close. Pool and Hot tub nice at night. Would recommend if you want a quiet stay and friendly atmosphere.

Hotel is good and clean. Breakfast has enough variety. It's in a convenient location too. But there is catch to free drop off to the strip. They just drop across to the Tropicana hotel and casino which is on the same street. It does not take you anywhere. And these drop offs are only at the break of the hour and not on need basis.

Two negatives on this stay. They DO NOT have enough handicapped parking! Seemed to be a problem in a lot of places in Las Vegas. Second, there were a lot of kids staying in the hotel this night so in the morning we couldn't get anywhere near the breakfast!! I was in Las Vegas for my son's basketball tournament. Unfortunately there were numerous events that weekend in Las Vegas. The hotel had a large volume of kids, basketball players and cheerleaders staying there. The hallways were always crowded with kids.The breakfast was great. All my favorite items were there. Hampton Inn Tropicana is a great value! Its close to the strip but far away enough to get some sleep (if thats what you want). The lobby is under construction but I didnt feel that was an issue during my stay. There was no major construction noise. I'm used to budget hotel chains and I have nothing really to complain about. The staff were *excellent* (at every level). Room was comfortable, well maintained and very clean. My only complaint was that during our stay, the bar was closed for a re-fit so I had to buy alcohol from the gas station next door. Breakfast wasn't going to win awards, but you […] can comfortably eat a variety of [palatable] items and sit in comfort while others watch TV News spouting angry vitriolic nonsense and adverts for injury lawyers. I do wonder why hotels leave the TV on at breakfast. Wouldn't it be better to have the radio on and promote people talking to each other? Please hotel chains, remove the TV from the breakfast areas. It's located so close to an area famed for 'ladies of the night', however, I didn't see any on my way back and as a massive bonus it's two minutes' walk from an In And Out (America's best hamburger chain). Breakfast there is a treat (if you can't face another plate of turkey sausage) and go Animal Style for a huge protein overload. Vegas has 150,000 rooms available, but to be frank, this hotel is not a bad place to stay and the staff really made my stay enjoyable. If you read this guys, thanks everyone! ....Oh, I'd certainly stay again if my budget was constrained. Hope that helps your NPS score :) Devamı

We know it will always be clean and we love not having to try and find a place to have breakfast. The only thing that we weren't happy with is the front desk couldn't find our reservation. Las Vegas hammers you with sights, sounds and bustle, so it was like having a private oasis in the desert. Close enough for short taxi rides to casinos, always found parking day and night, coffee always brewing, staff helpful, rooms quiet and comfy...couldn't ask for more. I'll be back!

Exceeded my expectations. Large room with very roomy desk and small couch with ottoman. A lot of attention to tech: Multiple outlets and USB easily accessible everywhere, wifi that actually worked well enough to watch netflix on (linked via HDMI to the large flatscreen TV). the only disappointment was in the paper products. Why cheap out on tissues […] and toilet paper, both of which were rough and thin, belonging in a Motel 6. Towels were also a bit rough and thin. Those two things were enough to destroy the illusion of being in a much more expensive hotel, but not enough to keep me away. Would definitely stay again. Note: This hotel is well off the strip (but has free shuttle), making it best suited for those not seeking gambling (no gambling on-site) and nightlife. we were in town for a volleyball tournament so it was perfect for us. If you are without a car, you can take the shuttle to the strip for meals at the big casinos, or you can settle for a short walk to nearby fastfood joints if that's your thing. Also, the bar service is pretty miserable. The bartender is surly, and she doesn't open until 5pm. That is awfully late by Vegas standards. It's nice to be able to grab a beer […] after an all-day meeting, but being told that the bar won't be open for 15 minutes sorta took the wind out of my sails. Oh, and there's no beer list and the bartender is not helpful in naming the limited selection she does carry. How hard would it be to put out the bottles you carry so people can look at them and choose. And get some more variety please. Devamı

Breakfast was so crowded that there was a line down the hall. Hotel staff were busy trying to restock items, but had trouble keeping up.

Plumbing drainage in bathroom was very very slow. Hair dryer did not work. Shower head did not work. Room would fail a white glove inspection from the health department. No control of the room temp at night, too hot!
