Overall was OK. Personnel kind and helpful. Room very good and clean. Small exercise room and pool, but fairly state of art and clean! Main entrance needs work with little room for pedestrians. Parking is a disaster, requiring walk though smokers alley.

The room was small with no mini-fridge and had a bad odor. The bathroom was very small. There was no free internet and the wi-fi was very expensive. Also, parking was very expensive as well. I have stayed in other hotels in that same area and will not be staying at the Sheratan again.

A family wedding precipitated our recent stay at the disappointing Shearton Clayton Plaza Hotel. It was an ominous sign when we called the bridal party from the airport and they reported that they were still waiting in the lobby for their room—two hours after the hotel's published check-in time. We soon arrived to a lengthy wait at the front desk for […] the sole clerk to check us in. Our low-floor room featured a scenic view of a rooftop, which was enhanced by an air conditioning compressor located immediately outside. While the room itself was clean and appeared to be somewhat recently remodeled, the hotel's vintage paper-thin walls allowed our neighbor's television noise to bother us well into the early morning. The location of our room ended up being a blessing in disguise, as just two archaic passenger elevators slowly underserved the entire 250+ room hotel, resulting in lengthy waits. Our preferred route to the lobby one floor below ended up being the fire stairs. While we didn't see any members of bell staff during our visit, one did appear as we were departing. Not to assist with our luggage or our elderly wheelchair-bound family member, mind you, but rather to inquire after we had finished loading the car if we were done with the luggage trolley that we had hauled around ourselves! With a dated and aging physical plant, obvious staff training issues, and several better options nearby, I cannot envision a scenario in which this hotel would be any traveler's first choice. Devamı

The room was cozy, but very handsomely furnished and comfortable. Complimentary computer facilities in the lobby enhanced our 3-night stay. Desk and bell staff were extremely helpful and cordial. This was a good choice.

We had a nice stay. We were upgraded to king suite which was very nice. The last time we stayed at this hotel we had a standard room that was adequate but pretty small. The hotel staff was very helpful at both the front desk and the restaurant. We will stay here again.

Staff was accommodating and friendly. Hotel was clean. Shuttle that took us to the Delmar Loop was an added bonus. The only negative was that there was no complimentary breakfast included with the room rate.

Overall the hotel did deliver, and for the price I paid, it was solid. It should be noted that I paid $89 for one night and I got a full breakfast and club lounge access. However, when I showed up at the hotel they were unaware of the extras that came with my Expedia booking. There was a breakdown somewhere in the process from Expedia to the hotel. […] Nevertheless, the hotel was apologetic and did honor the booking completely. The outside of the hotel is pretty dated, however, the inside is excellent, no complaints. I did stay in the same neighborhood of Clayton a few yeas back at the Ritz Carlton and this hotel experience was as good, if not better at a MUCH lower price. If I hadn't had the extras (breakfast, lounge) I think I still would have been happy at this price, but not any more considering there are other hotels who offer similar perks at about $110 - $140 per night in the area. Have stayed at this hotel several times because of its proximity to Wash U. We continue to be happy with the quality of our experience. Friendly staff, very nice rooms, and very good fitness center guarantee a return visit.

Only downside was the charge for parking which I was told was typical of area. Otherwise, nothing to complain about. Everyone cheery and helpful. Too bad St Louis isn't by the ocean...

This is a pleasant hotel in downtown Clayton near restaurants, coffee shops, etc. The rooms are small but comfortable and clean with all the expected amenities. There is a nice-sized hotel pool and work out room, as well. If you're not living in your room this is a perfect, affordable hotel.

This hotel is definitely in need of a remodel. Bathroom was clean, room felt dirty especially the carpet. Bathroom was very small. One of had to use another mirror for make up while the other shaved.

Nickle and dimed on everything. Dirty baby diapers under our bed-so that's what the stink was! Staff tried to be kind but you could feel they were miserable. Do they not like their boss? Their parent company? Someone is making it very hard for the folks that work here to be nice. Just a miserable experience. Really.

The service was very welcoming. The rooms were very clean and comfortable! That was my first time at the Sheraton, and now it will be the only hotel I book with.

The hotel was clean and well run, and the staff was quite friendly. The room was comfortable as well and I would not hesitate to stay again. While I got a good rate, self-parking is $14/night, internet access was $10/day, and there was no free breakfast.

Our stay at the hotel was ok, the last two days of our stay our bed sheets wasn't changed. The price for parking is a bit high and if you are a non smoking hotel you should let all bookers (Expedia etc.) know so that they don't advise the guess that they can have a smoking room when you don't offer them. I think it's ridiculous that you had to pay for parking. I understand that parking is at a premium in that area, but come on! Raise the price of the hotel room them. It's almost dishonest. We also did not have a clean room on Saturday until 6pm. We were gone from 9am until 6pm. They must have forgotten and just came to our room. Really? Sounds like […] poor management to me. Seriously disappointing. We also were awakened at 8am on Sunday to a false emergency alarm. My elderly mother was scared to death at the nose and was very concerned about her safety. Great service with an excellent family atmosphere. Front desk was very friendly and inviting and location is idea for visiting the Galleria Mall. Room size was the only downside - no room to move about without running into each other and no room for our 2 year old to play.
