The hotel was clean and we liked the breakfast each morning. Everyone we had contact with was pleasant. It was not far from the wedding we were there to attend.
were only there for a few hours unfortunately no problems other than i couldn't figure why there was no vent fan or no switch for such in the bathroom other than that, no complaints thanks

"Not the best bed but a nice stay"
The bed leaves a lot to be desired, but we had a nice few days on the island.

"Some suggestions"
It would be nice if the motel would hand out a better map of the area. The girl at the desk gave the information asked but it was difficult to follow. It is a good thing we had a GPS. We also missed having a small refrigerator in the room. We did like the handicap shower, it was very handy.
Aside from the mattress that was intolerable, the pancake machine next to the front desk in the awful lobby, awful coffee, lime scale ridden bathtub, no comforter on the bed nasty carpet what else could be wrong! The desk clerk was great!

"BEWARE"
I stay in a lot of hotels with my family, and this is the first time that I have had to write a bad review. I want to warn people to stay away from this hotel. Here is a list of the bad things about this hotel. Bed: hard Room - Small. We felt like we were on top of each other. Bathroom faucets - looked like it was from the 1970's, and I had zero water […] pressure. It took me 20 minutes to take a shower, and it normally takes me 10 minutes. My daughter takes baths, and it took over 30 minutes to fill the tub. The surrounding area is quiet, so that is a plus. Coffee- Weak and foul tasting. We had to make a run to Starbucks. STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! I know I will never go back to this hotel. Devamı

"Hoiday Inn St Simons Island"
This is a perfect hotel for anyone staying on St Simons island for a few days (Golf Tourny). You are right by everything on that island. The pros and cons are pros: close to the golf tourny, fun managers at the hotel with delicious hot cookies, easy parking, clean facility. Cons: no bar, little boring because you are cramed into a little part of the […] island that has like five hotels into it, boring views of the electrical plant next door, they shut breakfast down at 9:30 sharp, other than that it was fairly priced and had everything a person would need to stay on the island. Oh yea, the island is boring and only has a few restaurants on it that get packed quick during festivities so plan ahead. Devamı
"Absence of Refrigeration and Micro Ware in the roo"
Was very supprised that the room at the Holiday Inn Express, 229 Main street, St. Simons Island, Georgia did not include a refrigerator or micro wave oven in the room. We have stayed at several Holiday Inns over several years and cannot recall a stay where these appliances were not included in the room. There was no mention on the reservation web page […] that these appliances would not be included in the room. Pre knowledge of the absence of the refrigerator and micro wave would have caused us to find other accomidations. Devamı

The lower score on the services question is as the result that housecleaning forgot to clean our room one day.
"Accessible to tourist areas"
Check-in was excellent - clerk went out of his way to immediately recommend nice dining areas. Made sure we were comfortable in our room and had everything we needed. Breakfast was nice - not just the usual continental.

After booking at short notice this hotel turned out to be a dream, the staff were very friendly and full of advice of where to visit, (Travis} your the man!!. Hotel very clean and the breakfast bar more than ample. Only downfall is that they require better signage on main St, as you can drive past without knowing
"Nice Location and Convenient"
The location of this hotel was good - very quiet neighborhood. The accomodations were clean. The only specific compliant was the air conditioner. The coldest setting was not overly cold. The temperature was tolerable for us but others might find it warm. We only stayed one night so was easy for us to overlook this issue.

"St. Simons Island GA"
The bathroom was not cleaned well for the three days that I was there and there is no exercise facilty on site. The pool is tiny and the room was outdated. I will have to say that the continental breakfast is the bet that I have ever had at a motel and the food score was excellent.

The room was clean, to me the location was great, a little hard to manoeuver to at first but once you become familiar with your surroundings you will find it convenient and accessible to the Villiage, beach, and restrauants. I would stay again and recommend this hotel to my friends and family. .
The staff was very nice and helpful.

The room was clean. The staff was great. We got there an hour early and they let us go ahead and check in so we could go to the beach. They were very helpful with directions. Only downside was - no refrigerator in the room.
This Holiday Inn was located in a quiet office park. I found the staff to be extremely helpful. The breakfast buffet was delicious! I would recommend this location to anyone visiting Saint Simons.

"Hotel was good, not great."
Everything was as expected, but it smelled musty. Breakfast was delicious but there wasn't room for everyone to sit. Size of room was excellent - we took a baby and had plenty of room for the pack n play. Didn't take long to get to the beach. We were pleased with everything but the musty smell.

Nice location in attractive office park with "village" type feel not high rise office buildings...complex is called "Plantation". Very close to Frederica Academy and Epworth by the Sea Conference Center. Lobby sort of shabby and unimpressive with very small breakfast area - quite cramped and barely enough tables. Rooms were modern and updated looking. […] Complimentary Coffee by the front desk available all the time except that it runs out and staff doesn't apparently refill it, so you may not get any coffee. Also free Otis Spunkelmeyer cookies at the front desk if they haven't run out. Breakfast downstairs as long as they haven't run out of room as there are not many tables. Breakfast buffet when we were there included scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy in a warmer, in addition to pastries, bagels, muffins and cereal. A small refrigerated compartment had yogurt and milk in it. Toaster,but no waffle maker. Apple juice, orange juice and coffee. I asked for toothpaste and the front desk thought they might have run out, but then they found some - I think I got the last one. Moral of the story - good perks as long as they don't RUN OUT Devamı

Can't say anymore than that it was lovely, nothing was to much trouble for the staff. The free breakfast is an added bonus, when travelling on a budget.

No frig in the room. The room was so warm when we got in. The AC was off.

The hotel was not clean at all. The location is too far from the beach. The price is outragousefor for the location and neatness but the people who work there are very nice.

"Better than expected"
Had a great experience with this hotel. Rooms were very clean. Bed was extremely comfortable. Staff went out of their way to do extras for us. Can't recommend it more highly!

The hotel was clean and comfortable, and it is in a good location. The staff was helpful and courteous. The overall experience was great. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to other travelers.
