"Mosquito Heaven"
This hotel is a total embarrassment to the Marriott brand. At 6pm the mosquitoes come out in thousands and devour you. Its impossible to be outdoors after 6pm and God forbid you are wearing shorts or don't think about leaving your room door open. Whats the use of having a beachfront room if you can't open the door. I normally sleep late its a vacation […] after all, so i put the do not disturb sign on the door knob. If you stay in your room past noon the housekeeping staff would go into an adjacent room and bang on the walls to disturb you. How can they charge $4 for a bottle of water or diet coke and US$16 for a hamburger. no meal for two no matter how small cost less than US$100. This place is big waste of money. Devamı
"Great hotel"
People were nice, service was great, concierge was helpful, views were terrific and we got a deal with free breakfast buffet every day which was from 7-11 am every day so we could sleep in and not miss it. I would live there if I could. Only negative is that the bathrooms could use updating but this is minor and after the first day I hardly noticed […] it. Make sure you ask for directions to anywhere you want to go - the concierge has well-written directions, including landmarks, to most of the major attractions/beaches/snorkeling sites. Devamı
"Not what we expected!"
Not conveniently located to any amenities. Shuttle bus operates twice daily to town but only accommodates up to 9 people otherwise taxi at 12 dollars each way - which is expensive. We were there in the rainy season only to find there were no umbrellas supplied in the room, when I asked at reception I was told they had none! "Excellent Curacao location"
Great location, good rates, nice design, comfortable stay but the restaurant could use some improvement. Menu is limited, food quality and taste was a disappointment.
"OK hotel, you get what you expect"
We stayed 4 nights in this hotel and it was good but not great. There's nothing wrong with the hotel as such (well the rooms are a bit smallish and dated) but it's not very personal. The pool area is beautiful and the beach is very nice as well. There were free yoga classes either in the morning or the evening which was very nice. Getting wifi in […] your room was ridiculously expensive compared to other hotels we stayed at. There isn't much to see or do nearby and although you can walk into town it's a bit too far. There are nice boutique hotels in Curacao for the same price, although you get a nice pool and yoga classes. Devamı

"Tries but tired"
The Marriott could do with a facelift overall and some attention to the details - the fridge in one of our rooms was rusty! Staff are polite and helpful, particularly the maid service. Rooms fairly basic but comfortable. There could be a better bar/lunch area inside as the room that is provided doesn't have enough tables to eat at, just sofas and low […] tables and a few bar stools. "Not the best option in Curacao"
Every week I'm at a different island for work. Curacao 6-8 times a year and this was my first at the Marriott. Waited an hour for my room (3:10pm-4:05pm). Stay away from rooms 176-190. Full of mosquitoes!!! previous guess left them stamped on the cielling, walls, bathroom, etc, as well as I did. Rooms are outdated, no wireless, good luck dealing with […] Miguelo, who with a friendly & sarcastic smile will tell you "I'm sorry for you" we are full. Stay at the Avila, Reneissance but here. "Depends on what you are looking for"
If you are a US business person be prepared to have the US style plugs on the other side of the room from the internet (no wireless in the room) modem...really a poor set up. They will give you am industrial style extension cord if you ask. My advice is just bring adapters. No frig in the room but there is a large safe. "Old and run down"
I stayed in a beach front room. The room was so old and dated it needed completely gutted and redone and refixtured and refurnished. Everything was old. It was comparable to one of the rooms I stayed in 20 years ago when I was vacationing with college friends in Daytona Beach. A real dump, and one you would not expect to pay what we did for an evening […] for. I should add I am a Marriott Silver Advantage member and have stayed in many Marriott Hotels all over the world. This place does not measuer up to the ankles of the one in St. Kitts, which was far better. In addition, they charged a fortune for one night of internet, which is usually free nowadays even in the most primitive of hotels in the world. My father stayed in a room more in the middle of the hotel which was far nicer and modern. The hotel was nice as you walked in and everything was good until I got to the room. I know rooms on the water in general- no matter where you go- need more maintenance and upkeep. I respect that. However, this room had not ben updated in years and years. The carpet was dirty and dingy, the toilet ran all night, the tiling was old, the bathroom fixtures were old. It was just an old beat up room, and certainly would not measure up to what the Marriott would call "brand standard" with anything. If you stay there- ask to stay in one of the rooms not near the water. If I were there more than one night, I would have changed for sure. Devamı

this was a great hotel and i was glad we stayed there. the location is great since downtown and westpunt are not that great. you will need a car especially if you want to check other nice beaches (i.e. cas abou, porto mori, or playa knip). there is a alamo/national rental car office in the lobby of the hotel. the pool area was beautiful and the staff […] was extremely nice and helpful. they are the best part of the hotel in my opinion. the only gripe i have is that you have to pay for internet which was expensive (can get online in town for much much cheaper). also, drinks and food on site are fairly expensive so we ate there only twice and ventured out to restaurants around the island. the location is really great. it is very central to everything. 10 min drive to downtown, 30 min drive to western beaches and the centrum supermarket is right up the road. i cannot recommend this hotel more. we had a great time. "Helpful staff"
Vedry expensive internet charge...worst in the Caribbean. Long walk if they stick you in a room in one of the extremeties. Easy drive to everywhere and convenient parking. Very friendly staff.
"Construction"
They were doing construction on the pool and jacuzzi, so both were not available for use and we were not informed. Also, our ocean front view was interrupted with construction workers walking in in front of our room in the morning and we were unable to leave the sliding door open because of the sound of construction.

"A praia não atingiu a minha expectativa."
O hotel é bom, a praia não atingiu as minhas expectativas, muitas pedras, vento forte e com muitas ondas, diferente das normalmente encontradas na ilha, o atendimento dos funcionarios é bom apesar da diária encerrrar as 11 horas da manha sem possibilidade de extensão, o café da manhã é muito bem servido com muitas opções, recomendo a estadia no Hotel […] Marriott desde que se alugue um carro para se deslocar as praias e ao centro para comer ( no hotel a comida é cara ) e ir as compras. Eu e minha família adoramos o hotel!!! Muito bonito, bem conservado e ótimo atendimento! O quarto poderia ser limpo mais vezes durante a estadia, mas é só pedir que prontamente é limpo! Acho que em Curacao, é a melhor opção para quem não quer ficar no centro!

Uitstekend personeel, goede kamers en prima strand bij het hotel. Op loopafstand slechts twee restaurants die de moeite waard zijn. Verder altijd auto of taxi nodig.

Het Marriott hotel op Curacao is een bijna alle opzichten een plek voor een fijne en vooral ontspannen vakantie. Het personeel (van de manager tot de bellboy) doet er werkelijk alles aan om hun gasten het naar de zin te maken.

Das Curacao Marriott Beach Resort befindet sich ca. 5 KM von Willemstad entfernt an einem wunderschönen Privatstrand. Das Personal ist aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Komfortabel sind die täglich frisch erhältlichen Handtücher für die stets in ausreichender Anzahl vorhandenen Liegen. Eine ausgelagerte Strandbar und eine Tauchschule, bei der man sich […] Equipment zum Schnorcheln mieten kann, sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Das Wasser in der Badebucht ist sehr seicht und daher auch für Kinder gut geeignet. Die ruhige See entsteht durch einen künstlich errichteten Wellenbrecher, der noch zusätzlich durch seinen Fischreichtum Tauchen und Schnorcheln zu einem Erlebnis macht. Es lohnt sich, Zimmer zum Meer hin zu buchen. Es liegen welche direkt am Strand und man kann von dort den Sonnenuntergang über dem Meer bewundern. Zweimal tägl. haben Hotelgäste die Möglichkeit, mit dem hoteleigenen Shuttle kostenlos nach Willemstad gefahren zu werden, wo man sehr gut shoppen kann oder einfach bei einem Kaffee das schöne Wetter geniesst. Donnerstags gibt es meistens Jazz Musik mit recht guten Musikern. Ansonsten ist es sehr schön für den, der es etwas ruhiger mag. Keine aufdringliche Discomusik, morgens schon am Pool oder sonstige Party- Animationen. Einfach Erholung pur. Sehr zu empfehlen. Devamı

Estive no Curaçao Mariott no final de agosto em 2011 e tive uma boa surpresa. O quarto era bastante bom, somente fiquei decepcionada porque a televisão não era tela plana, mas era uma boa TV. A praia é muito tranquila, aguas cristalinas, a comida do hotel é boa (mas tipo americana, com nachos, hamburguer, etc).

Hôtel idéalement situé à proximité de la capitale tout en ayant une très grande plage de sable blanc. Le service et le personnel est vraiment parfait. O hotel e a praia são muito bonitos. A comida também estava ótima. Os chefs de cozinha eram brasileiros e argentinos. Sao restaurantes pequenos, tudo à la carte. Nada a ver com os resorts no nordeste do Brasil alimentando um exércitode pessoas. A pesar de ser inverno (janeiro) a temperatura estava muito agradável, isto é, quente. Estava com minha esposa […] e nosso filho de 6 anos. Senti algumas dificuldades em encontrar nos cardápios os pratos infantis. Eu tinha que ficar perguntando o que poderia ser feito para ele. Mas deu pra se virar com o qe tinha: macarrao, file de frango, beef, hamburger e batata frita. No domingo não havia sombra para todos. Na praia há apenas quiosques. Havia apenas um guarda sol. Eu até perguntei, mas disseram que nao tinham. Uma falha para um hotel 4 estrelas. Para dirigir na ilha não foi fácil. A sinalização é muito ruim (apagada, e ruas sem nomes). Hotel für Geschäftsreisende, Crew-Mitglieder oder Incentives. Service mittelmäßig, Einrichtung veraltet, Poolliegen ziemlich verschmutzt, Service - ausser Frühstück - nachlässig, nicht sehr professionell. Empfang/Concierge ok, wenn auch nicht übermässig hilfsbereit.

Bij aankomst in de kamer bleek er geen kluis te zijn en een loze ruimte waar een koelkast had kunnen staan. Slot van de deur haperde en de flush van de wc was kapot. Waslijntje boven het bad was niet functioneel. Men was zeer bereid dit alles op te lossen. Toen ook onze kamer niet voor 17:00 bleek te zijn schoon gemaakt werden wij toch boos. Dette hotellet var pent, rom og renhold var ok og som forventet. Veldig bra amerikansk frokost men veldig dyrt om man ikke har det inkludert i prisen. Det så imidlertid ut som alle som jobbet her hatet jobben sin. Treig service på restaurantene - vi ventet ofte en time på maten etter bestilling. Marriott viste seg å være et blinkskudd. Alenereisende for første gang på Curasao med fokus på sol og bading. Flott resort med store, lukseriøse rom. Flott basseng- og strandområde, med barer og restauranter. Anbefales for alle typer reisende. Marriott is een mooi hotel direct aan zee met en groot zandstrand voor de deur. Goede ontbijtservice. Wij hebben geen all in geboekt en zijn dus zelf op zoek gegaan naar leuke restaurantjes. Enige nadeel is dat het hotelbusje naar de stad maar 2x per dag rijdt, waarvan de laatste om 17.00 uur terug in het hotel is. Dus toch genoodzaakt een taxi te […] nemen, kosten daarvan zijn redelijk hoog te noemen. Service aan het zwembad zijn wat magertjes, kan beter. Voor de rest perfecte locatie en goed hotel. Devamı
