We were looking for a hotel near airport for morning flight. Couldn't be more pleased than with With this hotel for location. Near mall and restaurants . Hotel staff very attentive and friendly. Property and rooms very clean and well maintained. Plus very good continental breakfast. Would stay again and recommend to friends.

My daughter and I stayed here for two nights while she was checking out grad school at ASU. The staff was very helpful. For example, my daughter needed to print up many articles for a research paper. I asked the desk to refer me to a Staples or Office Max store. They told me she was welcome to use their printer for all of this. Also, the breakfast food […] was good and offered a lot of variety. Great hotel to rent. Right by the mall in Tempe, AZ.
"Convenient, Quiet, Friendly & Centrally located"
I have been a hotel manager for many years and find that I can be higly sensitive and critical of hotel stays. This is a nice affordable mid-range hotel. The staff is courteous, the hotel is clean and well kept, the location is convenient to the freeway, the mall downtown Tempe events and the ASU campus. My family and I were coming to Tempe to bring […] our son to ASU for a visit and thought it would be a great time to "scout out" a hotel for future visits (I forsee many in our future). "Great hotel"
Comfortable and clean rooms. Nice service. Great breakfast every morning. Super convenient location (specially for shopping!!) nice outdoor pool and hot tub. Not a single complaint! Loved our stay at this location and would highly recommend. Next time I'm in the Phoenix area I will be staying here again!

"Great for the price!"
I got a great rate and having a hot breakfast included is awesome. Calling their Fitness Center a "Fitness Center" is a stretch! (no pun intended) It's a regular room that they converted--it has just 4 cardio machines (3 of which were not working) and NO weights.
"Great staff"
Can't say enough for the desk clerks who printed out directions to various locations and provided a couple of "forgotten" personal items. The only negative I have is that the breakfast staff were not prepared for the quantity of people who would participate in the breakfast. That seemed to me to be a no-brainer as it is already known how many rooms […] have been occupied the prior night. From the phone call the day before to setting us up for a shuttle to the airport hours after we checked out Renee was fantastic. One of the better hotels in the Phoenix area.With out a question we'll be back!!!

Stayed here for 1 night on business trip and had a good experience. I made my decision to stay here based on other reviews and its location. I think the property's rating are a bit high overall based on my experience of 40+ nights per year in hotels. I think this has to do more with the brand than the particular hotel. My stay at the Best Western (Priest) was delightful. The staff was friendly and attentive, the breakfast was very good, and the over atmosphere was very pleasant. I would recommend this hotel to other as reasonable and comfortable to stay for a causal vacation.

"Best Western Tempe by the Mall - Needs some work"
The negatives: Upon arrival, we were notified that they did not have a room for us because they had overbooked. We were offered a room with one bed (for 3 of us), and then after some time we did end up with a room with 2 queens as booked. However, some sort of loud clicking mechanical noise in the wall in the room on our first night made sleep impossible. […] We asked for a room change at 9am the next morning, and the reply was, "we will try to find you another room", and there was no inquiry as to why we wanted to move. When I offered up the explanation anyway, there was no apology for the bad experience. Furthermore, they did not get right on finding another room. 8 hours and 3 more inquiries later, we were moved to another room. Over the whole span, and dealing with several different members of the staff, there was never an apology for the experience, and the staff seemed put-off by us wanting to get a good night's sleep. An apologetic attitude would have gone a long way and probably would have prevented me from writing this negative review. Positives: The second room was pleasant and quiet and we slept well. The front desk manager called after we were settled in to ask if everything was good. The rooms were clean and everything was operational. The hotel breakfast provided was tasty and provided many options. We complained by email and immediately received a reply from the hotel manager (within an hour) with a sincere apology, and an offer of a gift card for our bad experience. This is the reason for a "yes" in recommendation to others for this hotel. Devamı
"Not going to stay again"
Stayed only one night. The bed was horrible. Every time I turned you heard the springs rock and bed move. The over scent of the halls and room with carpet cleaner made it feel like they were covering up an unlikeable odor and felt eery. Compimentary breakfast OK.
"Bathroom fan works--YEAH :-)"
I travel for work. This Best Western was very clean and serves a very good breakfast. Fridge and microwave in room and Best of All-- the bathroom fan WORKS. I hate a steamed up mirror and foggy room. Will return here next trip.

Location is freeway close and we were able to easily do trips to Downtown Phoenix, Chandler and enjoyed Arizona Mills mall across the street & nearby Mills Avenue district. Front Desk Manager, Larry, was exceptionally warm & gracious. Will return.

If you already were on a Best Western you know what you get for the money. It's a good hotel, good breakfast.
Was pleasantly surprised. Hotel was pretty new and well maintained. Really nice amenities and they actually offer room service. Would definitely stay there whenever I go back to visit.

"Great place to stay at low price"
It's a very quiet place. Couldn't hear any noise from other rooms. Staffs are really friendly. Everything was good except they don't provide toothpaste. I didn't ask them for it since I had my own.

There are many surprises I like about this little hotel. 1. Santized remote control for the TV. Awesome! 2. Make up remover wipes... love it! 3. Coffee was 10x better than Starbucks 4. This hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly! The breakfast was fabulous!
"Overall nice stay"
We chose this hotel because we were visiting ASU for my daughter. Very convientent to get to the school and surrounding area. The hot breakfast was much more than we anticipated, and there was plenty of food despite the hotel being pretty full. My only complaint is that our room was very warm, no matter what was done to the thermostat. And the lighting […] in between the beds didn't even have a plug, so lighting was not that great- couldn't sit on the bed or in a chair to read at night. Devamı

The hotel accommodations were what we expected. Clean, comfortable room and helpful, pleasant staff. The breakfast buffet was very good with many choices. The location was convenient to the highway and to local restaurants and shops.

stayed for a 4 day business trip, good value for the money, nice/friendly/helpful stuff. Complimentary breakfast and airport shuttle is nice. As there was sufficient demand by a group of guests, the manager decided to provide a free shuttle service to a place close by for convenience. "About what you would expect from a budget hotel"
The hotel itself isnt much to look at inside or out but it is clean. The room had a comfortable bed and a decent microwave and fridge. The pool isnt much to look at either. The staff was friendly and helpful at the front desk. The breakfast wasn't anything to rave about but it is nice to have for convenience sake. The hotel is located right on the edge […] of a decent area but you don't have to go too far before it gets a little seedy. Myself and a good number of the other guests were in Tempe for the Ironman race. Several of us requested they start breakfast early on race day because the early start time. They didn't open the kitchen early like other hotels I've stayed in in the past but the did leave out a few bagels and bananas for us.. Our room keys deactivated several times during our stay. I'm not sure what that was all about but it was annoying... Overall a decent hotel for the price I paid. Devamı

"BEST WESTERN WITH SHUTTLE NEARBY ARIZONA MILLS"
Nice hôtel. you can share your day beetween shopping at the mall in a walking distance (or with the free shuttle) and play by the swimming pool.
"Best Western Tempe"
Room was comfortable and clean. Hotel was convenient and close to freeway. Got to shop the mall blocks away. Breakfast was good and allowed us quick bite and able to get on our way without stopping for a restaurant.

"Remember - some people, like me, drink tea"
Two negative things about this hotel: 1. I stayed for 3 nights. Every morning I was forced to ask the breakfast crew (one of whom was clearly annoyed by the request) to replace the lukewarm water in the hot pot with boiling water, so that I could have tea. And on the third day, one of the breakfast crew took away the lukewarm water, and brought back...lukewarm […] water. Come on people - boiling water to make a cup of tea is NOT too much to ask. 2. Elevators did not work right. One night, one was not in service and the other would not take me from the 3rd to the 4th floor, after 3 attempts. The young man on duty said the situation could not be addressed until the next day. Really? Devamı

Have stayed here twice now........daughter at ASU and this hotel really is conveniant. Clean, newer hotel. Rates are very reasonable. Internet and computer with printer is nice. Nice pool, breakfast included in rate. We love staying here. It works nicely if you have student at ASU.
