The bathroom was not that clean and it did smell like people had somked in it. However, the staff is nice and helpful.

I had reserved a non-smoking room at this hotel because of the convenience of the location. However, as soon as I opened the door, it absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke. I would have immediately checked out, but it was late at night and I was too tired to complain. We choose this hotel for its location to Central Baptist Hospital. It was within 2 miles of the hospital, close to the mall and restaurants. It had all that we needed for the price.

We requested a ground floor (we were traveling with an infant and had to leave at 5:00 am) our room was on the second floor. The coke machine did not take dollars and there was no snack machine. The hotels sits close to interstate, did not bother us you could hear traffic and emergency vehicles at times.

Good experience. Clean, updated room. Easy access to both the hotel and unloading our bags into our room. Check in was quick and uncomplicated. The staff was friendly. Great price. Felt safe in the neighborhood. Will definitely stay there on next visit to Lexington. Best bargain in Lexington.

If allow you want is a place to bathe and sleep, this would be acceptable. We said there would be 4 in the room, and we still had to go to the office every day for the other 2 sets of towels. Nice enough cleaning folks, one in office seemed interrupted by our requests. Other was also nice.

I asked for a King....said they did not have any left. Wanted rooms (booked 2) close together...said they didn't have any...One on 2nd floor, one on 3rd. Walking down the hall counted 6 empty rooms next AM. And 3 with King beds. The lady at the desk just did not care. Stay somewhere else.

Great location, and quiet. Great for the traveler. Good price, room was clean, adaquate for our stay.

The hotel was in a easy access location. The room was clean and comfortable. The soap in the shower made my skin very dry. Other than that I had a very enjoyable, quiet stay.

Lady at the front desk went above and beyond! Very nice. Star bucks next door was a bonus!

My husband got bed bug bites. It's too bad everything else was fine..but bites unacceptable

I had 2 things happen during my stay that I was impressed with...my safe was not working after the first day and they fixed it right away with, beleive it or not, new batteries. Also, I forgot my special Thermapetic pillow that helps my neck and was very concerned I would never see it again. The location is good for those wanting to stay in/near downtown Lexington. There is a Starbucks across the street, and that's always a plus. However, there were many times when I was woken up by sirens or loud people in the next room, or out on the walkway. Overall, it's great if you're just needing a "home away from home" for a night or two.

Room very dirty, floors had not been vaccumned, sink had toothpaste residue and long hairs in it. Very few towels. Husband complained and the room was cleaned the following day. If you have other options, I would suggest you lodge elsewhere.

Was ok at best. Room hadnt been cleaned very well but I was too tired to complain. The one thing that really put me off in regards to the hotel as soon as we walked in the front desk lobby area it seriously smelled like the receptionist had been chain smoking all day. It was really really bad. Then the room was not cleaned totally well, I found old […] cups on the floor next to the bed. Overall, this was a nice place to stay. The room was in good repair and very clean when I arrived. The bedding was clean, but the sheets had a few small holes and tears. Not a room I would like to hang out in for a day, but this made a great place to bed down for the night. Check-in was speedy with no problem. I requested a King Size, smoking, with a refrigator and couch. When I got to my room, I had to call front desk to get ash trays, and inquired if any of there rooms had couchs because that is what I requested. They told me no. I was disappointed. It did have a nice desk and chair because it was a "Business King". […] 2 people cant sit in a business chair and watch TV. I just one of those people that don't like to sit in bed and watch TV. The room was not as spacious as I was expecting, nor was it as nice as the pictures made it out to be. I did have to go buy a hair dryer because I thought one was in the room, guess that was my mistake for over-looking that it didn't have one. It did have a game console to play games, 36 in TV, (picture was the best quality), refrigator,(wasn't very cool), in room safe, the room stayed very warm, didn't seem like the air worked very well. I don't like having a cold room because I am a cold natured person, but I was hot. Room was on the 3rd floor, which you access rooms from outside, they did have elevators, but I saw no carts or anything to help pack my luggage up. Hotel was nice for the price, close to everything, that was really nice. Room entrance is outside, didn't care for that much. But my room was clean, and would stay again.

It was a nice stay, our Tub could have been cleaner, but other than that we had a nice stay.

Bare bones. Nice decor. Linens very thin and not very warm. The mattress was thin and I could feel the springs. The heat in the room worked FANTASTICALLY which was needed this winter in Lexington. We had 4 inches of snow and my room was a balmy 78 degrees. Temperature was easily adjustable as well. The TV only had about 15-20 channels, mostly sports […] and other channels I had no interest in watching. Front desk provided free USA Today newspapers (in the lobby only) as well as coffee and tea. Hotel is nice because we can take our small dog. the room is clean however the linens need to be replaced, they are thread bare. Overall a nice place to stay for a short visit.

I would stay again, just for a night. The bathroom was way to small for two ladies at a convention.

The room was not clean, the bath tub had hair near the drain. I went to walmart and purchased cleaner and disinfectant. I did not expect a luxury room, but i did expect a clean room it was not.

This hotel has updated rooms including "trendy" painted bathrooms and laminate wood flooring. Rooms are tastefully decorated, clean and the hotel is very close to shopping and Univ. of Kentucky. Hotel staff friendly and helpful.

I have stayed in Red Roof Inns for years. One thing I can always count on is consistency from this compnay. The rooms are clean, the staff courteous and polite. Red Roof Inns are a good choice for those who are travleing and looking for an overnight rest or a budget weekend stay.

The Red Roof Inn was very nice, the staff was not too knowledgable about surrounding area. Would have been a little nicer with Coffee in rooms rather than having to go to Lobby for two cups at a time.
