Nice comfortable clean room at a reasonable price

The desk person bent over backwards to accomodate us. Price was reasonable and the room was clean. Shower was hot with good pressure. Wish there had been a coffee machine in the room tho. There was coffee in the lobby however.

Fine for an inexpensive night. Wouldn't want to spend any length of time here. Stinky room, old bedding (comforter had holes in it.)

Hotel was great for just sleeping and being on the go. If you don't care about all the bells and whistles of bigger hotels, and you don't plan on spending much time in the room, then this is the perfect spot and great price for anyone's budget. It was clean, quiet and very convenient off of the highway.

Have stayed here on more than 1 occasion. Front desk personnel very polite and friendly. Room very nice for price. Bathroom was a bit small though. I would highly recommend.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and affordable. Was located close to my destination in Springfield.

Let's see now. Best price. Easy access from freeway. Friendly staff. Clean room. AND the best night's sleep my wife has enjoyed at a hotel in the last 5 years! All this plus plenty of restaurants near by.

Very very basic motel. After reading all the reviews on this board, I decided to book anyway because we were arriving at 9:00pm and leaving at 8:00am next morning. So I had a very low expectation after reading the reviews. I thought well we were just going to sleep and leave in the morning. Well, the motel was below my low expectations. Well, there were no ashtray in the room, but the room still smelled like smoke. Beds were very soft. So my recommendation is that only book if you go straight to bed, get up and leave. I was looking for a bargain and got a good deal. I saved more than $100 for two nights here rather than stay at the Hampton Inn which was what I had been thinking about staying. The room served it's purpose. It was easy to find and location relatively quiet. The WI-FI worked as it should. If you want a bargain and a clean room, stay here.

Cheap, low priced hotel. We got what we paid for--a clean room with no frills.

This is not necessarily a hotel I'd recommend for anyone staying in Springfield on vacation, but it's a perfect hotel for anyone who is traveling through and needs a place to stay the night. Staff was very friendly.

If you're just needing a cheap decent place to sleep, this isn't too bad... If you're looking for a vacation type stay, I would try something a little nicer... Precious, the hotel desk lady, was very friendly and helpful!

Room was not clean. Furnisher old and worn. Wallpaper coming off at seems.

Old furnishings, couldn't find the ice machine, but the front desk staff was really nice and EXTREMELY helpful! Kenya was AWESOME! She put my entire family side by side! The outside looked questionable..... it looked like it was a cheap sleazy hotel men and women would meet their lovers after their spouses have gone to bed.... BUT everything was clean on the inside, front desk was very nice/helpful, Not far from food...King size bed was AMAZING... The only things entertaining to do at the hotel though are watching tv […] and drinking coffee. They have a map with a list of all the surrounding sites and popular places to eat... If you need a cheap hotel that you will be staying at for one night or ONLY to sleep in between sight-seeing........ this is it. OH! did I mention the mini-fridge and the microwave?.... awesome!! room was decent sized altough not very clean. got moved to another room and also not very clean.. but served purpose and cant beat the price.. if staying for 1 night highly recommended but avoid for longer stay...very accesible from highway and alot of amenities suround it..overall semi-decent

I needed a one night hotel for a trade show in town. It was good enough. Quiet and clean for an older hotel. It worked for the price.

The mattress and box spring in room 255 was in very poor condition. I had to sleep cross-ways to keep from rolling off into the floor. The refrigerator made a noise akin to a large animal breathing. This is a hotel well located for business in Springfield if you have a car. The hotel itself is somewhat worn out -- its furnishings are fairly shabby but clean. Fixtures are old. We refused one room because the room smelled and the door frame was partially detached making it virtually impossible to close the door. The next room smelled just as bad. Furniture is badly worn. room rate is OK but compare with the cleanliness or building maintainance, I don't recommend my friend to stay for a long holidays there. Well one night as a business stay is acceptable

Nice, well maintained facility. Basic room. Clean. Friendly staff. What more could one ask for at the price? Maybe an ironing board and a suitcase holder, but this wasn't a problem for me. I don't travel to hang out in my hotel room!

Just as one would expect for a Red Roof. I'm always disappointed that breakfast is not included, but the fancy coffee machine is first class and almost made up for the lack of cereal and donuts. I was glad to see that the wi-fi access is easier and available to everyone, not just special upgraded rooms. No need for a password or special card anymore, […] and it worked on my older palm browser (as opposed to previous stays). The room smelled like an ashtray, and I was told that it was a non-smoking room. There was a beer bottle cap on the floor. The only towels in the room were hand towels, there weren't any full size towels.

This place is a dump, I wouldn't stay there again if they paid me.
