I advise people not to stay here if you want a clean room. The hotel says it was remodeled in 2008, I don't think they kept the rooms up since then. There was a thick layer of dust & cobwebs in every corner.The paint/wallpaper was peeling of the walls. The toliet & tub did seem clean but there was build up in all the corners. The coffee pot had black […] build up in it which they kind of cleaned out for me but not enough that I would use it. I litterally cleaned the entire room my self w/cleaning wipes & knocked down the cobwebs, so I would feel somewhat comfortable about being there. At least the staff was nice & the lobby & breakfast area was clean. If I had not prepaid for everything I would have tried to stay somewhere else. Devamı

Hotel seemed nice on check in, staff very friendly. the room was not as it appeared on the website. Once in we noticed ants running around and i stepped on a needle in the rug.

We spent 2 nights at this location, we arrived an hour before actual check in time and there was no problem. lobby area clean and nice enough. However the front desk person at the time needed a class in customer service, she wasn't outrightly rude but could have been nicer. When we walked in to the room I was sorely disappointed- the room was dark(lights […] need to go up a couple watts) the bedspread looked tired and old and the bath sink still had hair remnants from the former guest.(good thing i walked with my disenfecting wipes- no I'm not a clean freak but when you have to travel to public places you at least want to "feel" clean) the bathroom was small,shower curtain ripped and the door connecting to the other room was broken (asked for our room to be switched ) pretty much the same thing.The whole room had the feel of a cheap motel. With that said- we didn't spend much time there only basically to rest our heads! It was however, very close to the places we were visiting -Amish country &Hershey, and with a whinning 10 year old the close proximity to places was a good thing. Breakfast on both days had stale pastries, cereal, bread, oatmeal---typical. On the 2nd night, we got locked out off our room cause the not so plesant front desk girl checked us for only one night. would i stay here again? humph.... Devamı

The shower curtain had a hole in it and when it was brought to the attention of the housekeeping staff it was not changed. Our room key was only activated for one night when we were booked for two which meant we had to go to the office to have our keys reactivated. I am not sure I would stay at this location again.

I found this hotel to be spot on with my father's recent illness and requirement for a hotel close to Lancaster's hospital. The hotel itself is a bit older but don't let that put you off. Rates are great, room service excellent as is attention to detail. I stayed here for quite some time and saw staff respond to a variety of situations. The complimentary […] breakfast is enough to get you going in the mornings. Overall, I found this hotel to be exactly what I needed at a distressful time in life. Thank you. Devamı

I checked in and checked out within 20 minutes. The room was at least 85 degrees in early March- there were toenails on the bathroom floor along with hair. The room smelled old and musty. And when I went to the front desk I was offered nothing. They charged me and did not do anything to make up for the poor quality and condition of their hotel.

This hotel needs an update. It looks like it used to be a motel that was recently purchased by Days Inn. The rooms were not very clean and the bathrooms were very small. It looks like some remodeling was done (carpets and beds), but more work needs done. The cable to our TV was frayed and fell apart and had to be repaired by myself since it was at 8pm […] when we checked in. Some of the other rooms in our group had the same issues, and the door security latches were broken on the doors too. We were very unhappy with the quality and cleanliness of the rooms. Devamı

Please pay more a little bit is better. Hotel is terrible.... Everything broke.....

Good quality for the money. Bed was very comfortable and we all slept well. Heat was easily regulated. We went when the outside pool was closed but we didn't plan on swimming. The breakfast was very good- they had the Belgian waffles (mmm), although no hot chocolate. It was comfortable and we had a nice breakfast.

Although the staff was friendly and rooms were adequate, I had a problem with the fact that I brought my family to this hotel and we were subjected to very loud adult noises during the early am for at least two hours. My children had to endure this as I looked for an explanation as to what they were hearing. Very inappropriate for a family. My husband […] and I were very disappointed in our stay. Devamı

We checked in and our room appeared clean and everything was cozy UNTIL my daughter pulled back the sheets. A gross swipe of snot and yuckies so that meant the sheets were not changed from the prior occupants. So gross...the hotel front desk was very apologetic and moved us to another room. It was obvious these sheets were fresh, white, crisp and clean. […] I hate to think Housekeeping was lazy once and ruined the reputation. The next room was clean, the front desk pleasant, the location great - just left with a yucky feeling of never wanting to return. But reality is...how do we all know if the sheets were really changed without a swipe... :( Devamı

hotel staff were very pleasant and went out of their way to give me a room on tlhe first floor due to my wife using a walker. Room was very clean and cozy. The contental breakfast was very good and clean. enjoyed the experience.

The outside condition of the building needed painting; the yellow paint on stairs has peeled away; lighting is extremely poor. Inside, the bathtub had no hand rail to get in and out; toilet paper holder kept falling off of the wall; the towel holder was pulled away from the wall. The room needed dusting and under the bed there was so much dirt and […] dust, I wanted to leave my granddaughter's shoe there when it went under there. We tried to call the office, but the phone didn't work. WiFi did not work either. When we went to the desk- no one was there, nor did anyone come. The breakfast room was dirty. Devamı

I was too tired to go ask for help or even call but had trouble with heat..room was cold..setting said 72degrees which it was not.When I pressed on it blew cold air! tried putting setting up higher but was still blowing cold air..either the system had something the matter or it is not clear how to work it..Could you tell me as I would like to use this […] motel again but would be disinclined if it were any colder than tHis week-end.. My family was looking for something fun to do on Thanksgiving. My Mom still remembers the little getaways she would take to Amish Country and so she suggested we try staying in Lancaster this year. The area had everything we were looking for, a traditional Thanksgiving meal served family style. We were only looking for a place to sleep since we just […] stayed overnight but the experience ended up being quite comfortable and nice. After reading several reviews I was skeptical about this hotel but those issues just did not exist. The front desk was very nice and helpful. The room was clean, I found the bed a bit firm but everyone else had no complaints. The continental breakfast had make your own waffles and was just filling enough until we got to the restaurant smorgasbord we ate at for lunch. Most importantly the price was fantastic and just for that we would stay there again! Definitely was a fun and enjoyable Thanksgiving getaway! Devamı

You could feel the springs in the mattress; the refrigerator had ice bulging out of thermostat... so much so that you cannot close the door. The microwave wasn't working properly.. There were no electric outlets to charge our laptop cellphones. Not recommending this to no one.

We ordered a Queen size bed but were given a double Later changed to king size. The internet service advertised did not function in either the lobby or room. It was necessary to go outside to go to the lobby. The room furniture was very old and the TV very, very old.

Front desk talked up the room that I was staying in. Newly upgraded. It had been painted. A new flat screen tv. Carpeting was used instead of wainscoating. It was pulling away from the walls and holes that were there for wires were exposed. Even though the room seemed very clean, many surfaces were sticky.

Good location, friendly staff, clean updated room, quiet area, no through wall sound. There were 2 things I felt could use improvement on were the Breakfast, and out of stock vending machines, had to travel to a store for a soft drink!

This was the hardest/most uncomfortable bed I have ever tried to sleep in. I got virtually no sleep until I got out of bed at about 5am and sat in the straight-backed, but softer, chair in the room. I rested my feet on my suitcase and piled pillows around me and finally slept hard enough to dream. I will NEVER return to this hotel, even if they offer […] me a free night. The only saving grace was the little Vietnamese restaurant ("Rice and Noodles") that I found down the street. Devamı

Everything was great. They allowed us to use the breakfast room for a Birthday Party and games. The food was excellent for breakfast. The staff was very attentive. The only thing that was not perfect was their heating system. It was either too hot or too cold with the air blowing out. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Seriously I should have slept in my car. Dirty sheets on the bed. Carpet looked like it hasn't been vacuumed in a week. Bathroom was half painted and shower was moldy. Had to have housekeeping clean again upon my arrival. Called ten other hotels. Everything was booked because of conferences in town. So much for a romantic evening after dinner and a […] concert. We were skeeved at the thought of sleeping without our hooded sweatshirt pulled over our hair. Devamı

We found rooms and bathroom clean, beds were comfortable with ample blankets. We slept soundly without any interuptions. Didn't find any major faults with our stay, except it was located a little further a- way from certain attractions.

Honestly, my fiance and I were on our anniversary. Now the customer service evaulation, was outstanding. But I sadly can not stay the same for the room, the bed was a little uncomfortable (able to deal with), their was food (left over from a previous visit) on the floor under the night table, and when it was time to freshen up; the water leaked all […] over the floor (accessable to the disabled) but still dangerous for those who are not. The television was slighty malfunctioned, not all the channels came through clearly (but never spent that much time in the room). I am no high-mantainced or anything, but should have recieved little better. Devamı

the lobby was the best place. room was not clean. cobbwebs all over the room . over one bed it look like blood on celling. the air-heat machine was full of dirt. there was trash along the side of bed from other guest.the r oom smelled, then my clean clothes smelled.price was ok. the side walks was in need of repair and paint.
