Lots of room for the value.

This was the first time we had ever taken our children to a hotel for a weekend, and when we pulled out, they asked when we could come back. The hotel was more than I expected. It provided us with a great family getaway, as well as a little romance/alone time for my husband and I. We will defintely be returning!

Overall, I am pretty unsatisfied with my stay at this hotel. We were supposed to have a pull out couch and we didnt. There is only one elevator that we could find, and it was very small and barely could fit the luggage cart. The room was a nice size but had a very odd smell. The maid service only came one time during our 4 day stay and during that time […] we had several clothing items disappear. I brought it up to the person at the front desk and they said they would leave a note for the general manager. We never spoke to the GM, just the same person at the desk, who seemed to think it was mixed in with the laundry and refused to believe the possibility that it could have been stolen. (everything that was taken was still in suitcases) No further action was taken. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless you prefer to have your clothes snatched up by a shady housekeeper. The only problem it was off track where we wanted to be about 7 miles from the highway also the pool was closed the whole weekend which we were not told in advance. Great room and very clean

Loved the 1 king/1 queen setup in our suite...nice for 2 adults and a kids. Very quiet, but a little out of the way. Pool was just painted...looks nice and clean however we couldn't swim in it because the pool temperature was freezing...was told it was just refilled and hadn't had time to heat up yet. Front desk clerk was very nice.

Loved the hotel. Clean, large room with everything you would need. Nice breakfast bar. Pleasantly pleased. Would recommend to anyone needing a quiet place to stay.

We were pleasantly surprised with our room. It was a real nice suite. For the price the room was great. The bed wasn't terrible, but that's hardly a ringing endorsement. The hotel is not close to anything. It is part of a golf resort so if you're going to golf it's great, otherwise it's just not a convenient location.

Come here for company, first reserved online by myself, the company like to put me on luxry hotel next to company. I said, It's ok .Hotel in small town, close to Sixfax,quiet place and nice customer service. Abit far off HWY, WI-FI internet very slow, take 5 minutes to load my company and travelocity web. Google ok.

had a nice overnight stay. Kids enjoyed the pool. Very comfortable bed and large room. TV is outdated and can only be seen by either the couch/pull-out bed or the king size bed - cannot both watch at the same time. Complimentary buffet was very good. Not a lot of items to choose from but satisfying.

We stayed at this hotel because of the proximity to the Naval training center, which seems to take forever to get to from here. Check in day was easy and well lets say less than informative. Day 1 Wednesday the 15th of Feb. 2012. Room 200 which we noticed was, 1-By the pool area but seemed to be o.k. 2-acrossed from some kind of meeting hall and all […] seemed quiet there also. Opened the door and noticed the room was kind of run down, carpets torn and had a weird odor. Left to check out the area and see where everything was, training facility ect. Thursday the 16th of Feb 2012, Leave the hotel to check out what Chicago has to offer, awsome city and people, sites were great, food and people were great, returned to our hotel exhausted from our days activities and were welcomed with a spiritual reunion rock concert it seemed, we were not imformed of this ever at any time, well things seemed tame so off to our rooms and needing to awake at 4am Friday morning to see our son at Navy Recruit Training Graduation, had a great ceremony and went back to the hotel about 3pm, this is where things went really from bad to worse. No maid service had even touched our room as of yet, so while we were visiting with our family the maid shows up at about 4:30 to give us towels only???? Come on Wyndham we expect more than that from your Hospitality staff, now we go to dinner than return for what we expect to be a restful evening, before our flight leaves O'Hare at 7am, that was not to be though, upon returning to our room we found a very loud concert going on acrossed the hall from this room, so we figure this will stop at a relatively early time, like 10 or so but this also was not to be, we call the front desk several times to no avail, NO ANSWER AT THE FRONT DESK!!! now the doors are slamming, live music being played very loudly, all we wanted to request is that we be moved, no one at the front desk I guess, so we packed up and went to the front desk and were informed by the young lady t Devamı

My husband and I went for a night away. The room was amazing. Smelled GREAT! the bathroom was super clean(just a loud flushing toilet). The room was very clean and we loved the bed. The hotel serivce was amazing as well. Good hot breakfast bar(only thing was they could have kept it stocked up a little more since it wasnt suppose to close until 10). […] But overall it was one of the best stays we have had. wwlakeside stayed here while visiting for the graduation of my cousin from bootcamp. it's relatively close to the base (16 minutes) and in a quiet area. the staff is nice and the room was great. nice fireplace in the greeting area, gave a cosy feel to the hotel. definitely coming back!

Room size was excellent. We had a king suite and the price was outstanding. They offer a reduced rate if you are in town for a Navy graduation. We spent a day in the room comfortably with 5 people including our bootcamp graduate. I was looking for a clean comfortable hotel with an indoor pool and complimentary hot breakfast. It also needed to be in a quiet, safe location. I was not disappointed in any way. Also, the staff was very friendly, and when we checked in early, we were upgraded to accommodate our early arrival. Don't hesitate to book this hotel.

I took a lot of time to book 2 rooms for 12/3/2011. They were paid in full, in advance. I was told each room was a "suite" design. I am familiar with Wyndham suites and love them! I even called and spoke to someone to reassure a full "suite". Very disappointed to find upon arrival that NO LIVING ROOM AREA was in either of the 2 rooms. I asked the front […] desk to address this problem. They said they could do nothing because I spoke with the central reservations! Shame on me for assuming people that take your money (non refundable) are not responsible for any errors. I found it even more upsetting because I was specific that I was finishing 6+ months of chemo. This was to be a fun, relaxed weekend. The bedding on both beds was NOT fresh. Had stains from previous occupants and numeroud wrinkles. I had specifically asked for a quiet location. Suprise! They had rented multiple rooms out for a party on the wing we were assigned. From 4AM until 5:40AM numerouls adults were running and screaming up and down the halls and stairways. The front desk was very aware. They seemed almost proud when they told me they would most "likely" not rent to them again. Exactly what does that do to allow us the peace and quick we could not obtain? I want at least 1 room for 1 free night with a FULL SUITE. Certainly does not have to be at this location. Elk Grove, Ill is also fine. PS: I took photos of the bedding should you like some evidence. The hotel was very close to the friends that I was visiting. The hotel staff was very, very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel.

Wish we had a couple extra days to enjoy room. Stovetop, fridge, microwave, sink and coffee maker. Pots and pans and utensils in cabinets. Nice size table. Sitting area and kitchen can be shut off with door from bedroom. Comfortable beds and bedding. TwoTVs. Large bath with separate sink area. On a golf course. Our stay overall was very nice. It was convenient to the Naval Base (within 8 miles) and included a complimentary breakfast. The suite we stayed at was clean except for the carpeting, which appeared in need of replacement or a good cleaning. We would stay there again, taking into consideration the right price.

We stayed here while visiting my folks in Kenosha Wisconsin. Affordable, and really nice. Hope they put new tvs in the rooms soon, as the color was horrible. But other than that, really great hotel. Will stay there again.

I was there for my son's graduation cermony from Navy Bootcamp Great Lakes.The Hotel was located in a quiet neighborhood on a great golf course, near a highway so getting around was easy. Directions at the front desk to the local mall was helpfull since we were limited on time with my son. We were able to take in the mall to buy him a phone and enough […] time to take in Six Flags before he he to be back on base. Great Lakes Base is about 8 miles from the Hotel but it's an easy drive to and from the base. The Hotel was very clean, pool gym dinning areas were comfortable. Devamı

The hotel is away from town on a golf course in a very quiet area. The rooms were spacious and clean, with a separate sitting room and two TV's available. This is a golf resort with multiple banquet rooms, and there were multiple wedding receptions the evening we were there. My brother, who stayed in a room down the hall, was awakened during the night […] by a drunken reception attendee yelling in the hallway. So the lesson here is that it is probably better to stay here on weekday nights if you want to improve your odds of a quiet evening. Overall, though, I liked the hotel and would stay again. Devamı

Nice hotel, clean room, carpeting a little worn. Breakfast was okay, would have liked meat on the menu. The pool area was very nice however we sustained an injury in the workout room due to a defective piece of equipment; when the front desk was notified they took immediate care to remedy. The staff was excellent and the room and hotel were clean in general. But the room was in need of some maintenance attention. The AC in the bed room was very very very noisy, there was a door in the closet that was not attached, the curtain in the bedroom was off one of the hooks...just not a comfy environment. Wyndham Wadsworth Hotel is in a quiet part of Gurnee, Il. We love the spacious rooms and helpful staff at the hotel. The Continental Breakfast is a plus when staying at this hotel. We will definitely stay at this hotel again when in Chacago area.

Suite Rooms were big, offered place to work, relax and everything a travelling business person needs. Gym equipment could be improved. Also a bigger gym would be nice.

Private location, yet close to all the shopping and entertainment in the area.

This hotel was extremely clean and the rooms, being suites, were more than adequately sized. The hotel is also located only 5 minutes away from Walmart and quite a few restaurants, such as Sweet Tomatoes. We stayed at this hotel because we went to Six Flags and wanted a nearby hotel with free parking. We were only at the hotel for a brief night's sleep […] after Six Flags because we left early the next morning to go to downtown Chicago, which is only about an hour's drive from the hotel. The hotel also offers continental breakfast, although we didn't get a chance to try it. I highly recommend anyone going to Six Flags to give this hotel a try (and eat Sweet Tomatoes for a healthy dinner after all that Six Flags junk food!). Devamı

Not very conveinent to get to. The hotel grounds are nice as was the set-up of the room, however I wasn't thrilled with noticing dirt stains on the bedding. Very few TV channels available for children.

The Hawthorne Suites were reasonably priced for the Chicago area, and did not have a parking fee. Our accomodations were as reserved, and well appointed with wood cabinetry. The breakfast buffet that was available for free far exceeded our experience at our previus hotel. We did have a problem with the water presure in the bathroom, and the sofa bed […] that was available was not comfortable for the two members of our party who had to sleep on it. Devamı

This hotel was better than expected. The rooms were clean, the staff was very pleasent, and the surrounding community was very queit. If you want a relaxing getaway, this your place. A train ride will take you downtown Chicago via the Waukegen station. Very comforting if you dont want to deal with the traffic of the city. Local shopping and dining, […] and easy to get out once it is time to go home. I will use this hotel again. Devamı
