Very convenient location if you have reason to visit Lackland AFB. Surrounding neighborhood not very nice. Room was dirty and did not have a functioning shower. Had to request a repair twice before it was fixed.

Nice room, clean and comfortable. Close to the base with easy access. Reasonable prices.

when you used the toilet it would rock you to sleep. tThe first night i went to the frount desk and advised them that the television had problems, I was advised to use the imput button , The television was never fixed .The same bath mat was used for two days When I ask the regular price of the room the answer was, it changes from day to day.

We were put in a wheelchair accessible room. While we are glad that these are available, it wan't convenient for us, because the bathroom was set up with aids that were obstacles for us. Our room was also missing a coffee carrafe. We couldn't even get complimentary coffee at the front desk in the morning. Overall my stay was very relaxing. Customer Service was very good. Was always greeted when I walked in the hotel as well as when I was leaving. Convenience of being close to Lackland was very helpful. Information was available when I had questions. Great stay!

it was close to seaworld but i didnt like the bathroom... is so small and uncomfortable.... but good for the price.

Well... I had to get a room with 2 queen beds and needed it to somewhat close to Castroville (wedding) and downtown San Antonio. I though the area was a little nicer, it is mostly a somewhat run down commerical area. My main concern was safety and my truck in the parking lot. At the side door where we went into our room, there was broken windshield […] glass on the ground. I didn't leave anything in my truck, but I didn't sleep great thinking my truck may also get broken into. Other than that, the floor was damp in places, and the toilet was running a little. Very friendly and helpful staff. A little bit away from the river walk (where I spent my nights). A bus stop across the street cost a little over a dollar to take downtown, whereas a taxi cost about $35. Beautiful enclosed outdoor pool area, great for relaxing. I only had popcorn shrimp at the hotel's restaurant, but it was delicious.

This was a very nice hotel. Beds and pillows were comfortable. It was clean and spacious. The only thing I was disappointed in was no continental breakfast. Also, at night (midnight) was a little shady outside, but that was only because I was a female walking alone, the front desk immediately had security check it out. Stayed for 5 nights while attending graduation at Lackland AFB.Great proximity to base, nice rooms , good price. Lounge and resturant in hotel.

This hotel was decent for it's price. The neighbor hood was not good and the room was extremely humid and had a weird smell. This hotel is ok if your planning on being out and about or only staying for a couple of nights. We liked the fact that it was pretty quiet and staff was friendly.

We were totally pleased with this hotel. Our remote control was not working and immediately we had the front desk clerk switch it out and worked. The kids had a blast in the pool and they liked the fact that they didn't close early (actually they are open all night!)

It's was a little expensive for the Motel quality. Great location however and it was last minute due to our other hotel flooding.

This hotel has potential but there are several things we hope they will work on. We were there for several days because we were there for our son's BMT Graduation from Lackland AFB. The first thing we noticed was no elevator! I guess they figured with only 2 stories they didn't need one, but it was awful lugging all of our luggage up the huge flight […] of stairs. Another thing was that the hallways were excruciatingly hot! San Antonio is a hot place in the summer and no one should have to come out of the 100 degree heat into a 150 degree hallway! The room was reasonably clean. The best thing about the room was that the bed was extremely comfortable! My husband didn't agree, but I thought the mattress was wonderful! The rest isn't so good....toilet TERRIBLY noisy and took 3 flushes EVERY time to empty it. Ice Bucket dusty when we arrived. Not enough coffee or toilet paper. On the 3rd night, a king-size New York style cockroach crawled across the wall over our bed and it was comical watching my husband chase it down and capture it, then flush 3 times to get the thing down the toilet! The sensor on the back door where we parked near our room was touchy and difficult to get the doorkey to open the door most times! The first time we went to the outdoor pool, the tables were covered in sticky, syrupy stuff and there was lots of plant/leaf debree floating in the pool. Two days later when we went back to the pool, it was better, but they should put some fans out there for those sitting around the pool. The pool is in a rectangular spot smack in the middle of the hotel, surrounded by walls and there's NO circulation! The palm trees around the pool were beautiful, but all the landscaping around the outskirts of the hotel need trimming, mowing, etc. The parking lot needs repaving and the surrounding neighborhood is seedy and uninviting. Holiday Inn Lackland is not located in the best part of town. The area is obviously one of the poorest and scariest in San Antonio. When we checked-in we were told that there were no stairs and we would have to haul all of our luggage to the second floor. The A/C barely kept the room at a comfortable temperature. On the second day of our stay, we arrived […] at our room only to find that neither our sheets nor our towels had been changed. Not to mention the trash bags still full from the trash the day before. A 'do not disturb' sign had been placed on our door (by housekeeping I assume) so our room was not cleaned. Once in the room, I attempted to lie my 10-month-old baby down in the 'crib' provided by the hotel only to find a cockroach crawling next to where I laid her. I immediately took my baby from the bed provided and went to the front desk. I asked why we didn't have clean towels to bathe with or why my baby's bed had a roach in it...I was told my room was not clean due to 'conservation efforts,' and 'sorry about that.' I will never stay here nor at any Holiday Inn again. Devamı

The hotel was easy to get to and the staff was excellent. We did have a few minor issues, like the remote control not working, the air conditioner starting to squeak, and the bedside phone not working, but all issues were addressed immediately and could really happen anywhere.
