GREAT LOCATION AND NEIGHBORHOOD BUT COULD BE CLEANER

I stayed for 1 day, the hotel is clean, the room is big, everything fine, near the hotel is the "hospitals area" and about 2 blocks you can take the train to many places, I'll use it again next time.

I booked about 12 nights for multiple people. Most of them came back with a negative rating. Bed was comfortable! Good Location but will not return because of how unclean the rooms were when checking in.

Tip: Make sure your shower works before you go to bed at night. The shower in my room did not work, and calling down for help did not produce any results.

Nothing to cook with. Shower curtain falling off. Basic cable. Old furniture. Stay somewhere else.

Convenient location for Medical Center, van service is extremely helpful. Our room was not very well stocked, kitchen area was not in good condition. No drinking glasses, no coffee cups. The smoke alarm battery was dead and kept beeping, we moved to another room.

This place was nice. I would recommend. Close to the Medical Center and Reliant Stadium.

Carpet filthy. Room did not get cleaned on 2 nd day of stay. Leftover,open drink from previous tenant that was left in refrigerator. Front desk did not answer phone on three occasions. Furniture very shabby, dirty and worn. Shower/tub tiles chipped. Shower curtain rod installed crooked and shower curtain would not stay closed. This hotel is so convenient to Texas Childrens Hospital and M D Anderson. Thats why we stay there. Plus it always clean.

there are cooking utensils, so you may have your own meals. Better for long term stay.

All I can say is FILTHY. We ended up changing hotels the next day because it was so dirty.

Needed something close to Texas Children's. Checked-in and someone was already in the room we were first put in (awkward). Second room we were put in had a leaking fire sprinkler valve which was conveniently dripping into a trash can in the middle of the room. Since there were 4 of us we needed a double-bed room which there were none left. We were put […] into a king & sleeper sofa room which was unbelievably uncomfortable. Hotel offered nothing for these inconveniences. This location is on our future blacklist as our travels to Texas Children's will continue. Devamı

Stay somewhere anywhere else. Ok location ok hotel but the people there are RUDE! Very poor service. They have no idea what customer service means. If this place were free, still I choose a different hotel.

Not a bad hotel for the rate. Great location to medical center. Large roomy rooms with seating areas separate from beds.

They were doing maintenance. Very loud all the time with cellophane on the windows. Rude staff. Cockroaches. No restaurants nearby. Frayed linens.

Bring your Lysol. Our room smelled like urine. There was visible dirt on each side of the refrigerator and the carpet was stained. Outside and lobby was very clean, should clean that well in the rooms.

Uncomfortably hard & uneven mattress, thin pillow, two holes in an almost threadbare bathmat, dingy thin bath towels, cracked lampshade--nice hallway, lobby & breakfast room, but our room was showing the age of its furnishings. Very helpful & friendly staff.

This hotel was within walking distance of the hospital where my father had surgery. That saved us from driving and parking hassles. Our room was comfortable and we really appreciated having a kitchen to prepare meals in. We were treated very well by the staff. We would stay there again.

I would not reccomend this hotel. We checked into this hotel pretty late (around 1 AM) after delays at the airport and car rental place. The hotel lobby was locked when wer got there. There was telephone in the vestibule for contacting the night clerk after hours. I tried several times with this phone to no avail. I called the hotel on my cell phone […] and finally someone picked up. When we got to the room it appeared to be occupied, i.e. Personal belongings scattered about, used ash tray (in a non-smoking room), unmade bed etc. We went back downstairs. She gave us another room. We went back up stairs. This room was also dirty. Unmade bed, towels on the floor, the kitchenette was filthy. We went back to the lobby. The night clerk kept saying she didn't have anything to do with booking, that the day staff was responsible for that. She apologized and upgraded our room, and gave us the keys to a third room. We went up and upon entering the room noticed the bed was made and fell into it. The next morning we noticed the cupboards in the kitchennette were grimy, 2 dead roaches; one on the floor, one on the window sill, a filthy carpet and no towels. Not one. We ended up needing to stay for several more days for medical reasons, when we asked the front desk to extend our room she quickly (and without checking) told us the entire hotel was booked with no vacancy. We checked the hotel website where there seemed to be plenty of available rooms. Under normal circumstances I would not have considered extending a stay at such a hotel but my husband was being seen by a Dr @ MD Anderson and the hotel is very convenient to the hospital. In conclusion, this hotel experience was pretty unpleasant, and we've stayed in a lot of hotels over the years. Devamı

The bathroom was vry compact and there was a ring around the toilet bowl. There weren't a lot of options for complimentary breakfast. Hotel was otherwise ok for a short stay

This extended suite was most horrible place I have stayed in a long time. It was dirty, and eveything was so old and outdated. Yes, they offer good deals, but I guess you are really paying for what it's worth. I will never stay in this place again. ruined my travel to Houston.

The front desk clerk was somewhat helpful. The hotel smelled dirty/moldy. The room was unkept, the bed was very uncomfortable. The dangerous situation with a sink right next to an electric stovetop is an accident waiting to happen. The tub was stained gray, and the tile around the tub had missing caulk, and a dirty showerhead. Towels were like sandpaper. […] The noise level between floors was ridiculous. We heard someone walking the floor in the room above us at 2:30 AM - 3:30 AM. The hotel was spending money on upgrading the outside of the building before renovating the inside. They should have done the opposite..the inside is more important than cosmetics on the outside. EVERYTHING needs upgrading. But even then, this will definitely be our last visit at that hotel chain. Bed was very bad. My wife had hip surgery, I got back to the room and asked for a wheelchair.....nothing! You are 3mile from the medical centers. The temp. Knob was broken off the AC unit. The window was broken, it was fine as long as you did not try to open to get some fresh air.

For people wanting to go to the East side of the medical center, this is good. Very close to the Mays Clinic. Beds need replacing. Not much amenities, no shampoo -- internet sporadic.

This hotel was a very nice place for us to stay the night before we went to the aquarium. The only complaint I had was that the beds were extremley uncomfortable. But for the price the room was really nice with a kitchenette and a table for us to sit at and a full refrigerator. I will recommend this hotel to anyone that is looking in the houston ar […] ea. Even if the people at Extended Stay are terrific at providing a premiere service, the overall lack of maintenance is catching up with the hotel. Management should pay attention to that area before its investment losses most of its value. Whenever I get back to Houston, I won't be staying there again.

I honestly was expecting something far less than what I was able to get for the price. However, I was by far impressed with the room. The only negavtive thing I can say is that the beds were really firm. But all the same I would definitely stay here again without a question! **If you are going to Houston and need to be close to any of the hospitals, […] esp the VA, this is very very close to that. For the price that we paid for the room it was well worth it... not only did it have a kitchen.. but there were dishes in there as well that were clean and able to cook on instead of eating out the whole time we were there... it was close to Reliant Stadium just right around the corner whatever place I seem to put in the GPS seemed to be fairly close... […] so overall I would recommend this motel to anyone... The hotel was very nice and convenient. We did, however, have a problem upon check-in. I had prepaid for the room and the hotel did not have a record of our reservation. After the clerk called someone it was taken care of. The front desk clerk was very helpful

Great price for a good, clean hotel very close to where we needed to go. Breakfast was not good and hotel staff are only ok.

No complaints, other than the rate being a little high. If you need to stay a night or two in the Texas Medical Center area, this is a solid option. Very close to all of the major hospitals. I think they also run a shuttle.

When we checked in, the front desk person just handed us our key and said "Here you go". He never said breakfast is served at a certain time, or where the pool was. I felt like we were bothering him when we checked into the room. Room was clean and comfy, buth the gentelman at the front desk was not friendly at all.

Not very deluxe but it is clean and staff is helpful can be noisy due to being in the Medial District

Very Clean; Young man who helped me check in that was going to U. of Houston was very polite, quick and helpful with directions.

We had a problem with them taking our towels when dirty and not having any more to give us. In addition, there was a burning smell in our room a couple of nights. And dont wait for breakfast, or it will all be gone, that is if you count just muffins as breakfast. But it is a good neighborhood and location. Just be careful about the above problems.

I was really happy with the location of the hotel to the hospital we were visiting and the ease of access in and out of it with all the crazy traffic there. I also was surprised at how quick and easy it was to find convenient parking. The staff was friendly, but our room was a different story. I have stayed in other Extended Stay's before and never […] had a problem with cleanliness. The vanity/sink was dirty, the carpet had not been vacuumed, and there were bugs on one of the night stands. Plus, I'm certain the front desk called my room, but the phone didn't seem to work. I was too exhausted to go down and switch rooms, so I made due. I have more visits in the area, but I won't be staying here again. Devamı
