Surprisingly, our bathroom had no towel rail, but the accomodation was otherwise very comfortable, also spacious with marvellous views and good service. Highly recommended.

So after driving for good 6 hours. we reach at this hotel and find it under construction. I had requested smoke free room, but person at reception gives us the smoking floor with smoking room. and it had really old broken bed. I went back down stairs and asked them to change it, since I did not expected to get a room in such a poor condition. after […] about 30-40 minutes they had some one of the employee check our room(since they did not believe me it seemed like) and the employee also mentioned.."why did they give such a dirty room we have complaints about this room all the time" so they were going to send it to some other hotel in the area, but apparently they had only one room available for us and pretended they are doing us a favor by shifting us into his other room. Our room was so beautiful. it was just renovated, the bathroom was lovely and updated. The staff were always friendly and helpful with everything.

I have stayed in many Holiday Inn's and this hotel is by far the worst. I was put in a room that I wouldn't put a dog in. After complaining I was put in a refurbished room which was quite nice. The hotel needs some upgrades. Out of three elevators only one was working and we were on the seventh floor. On the third day of our stay the room was not cleaned or towels replaced. We had to do it ourselves at 10:30pm when we returned. There is no parking at the hotel except underground at a cost of $13+ per day.

We know that the hotel was in renovations but our carpet in the room was in bad shape.

Towels in the bathroom were not clean and had been used by someone else. Internet didn'y work , evening reception is a joke. Carpets were dirty

The hotel was nice with good amenities. The view overlooking river was magnificient. My kids liked the pool. The museum was close by. Also, the parliament hill area is near this hotel.

We enjoyed our stay here during our 4 day first time visit to the Ottawa area. We were told that the hotel is under renovation and floors 9 and 10 are complete except for the carpeting. We were on the 8th floor, and although there were some minor signs of needed renovation in our room, there was absolutely no inconvenience for our stay. We utilized […] the convenient secure under hotel parking leaving our car there during our entire 3 night stay at $13.67 per 24 hours to avoid trying to get around plus pay for parking in the city. We got to the Parliment Hill area a different way each day ($10 taxi; $7.50 all day bus pass; walking ---about a leisurely 50 minutes for us two old people) We don't hesitate to recommend this hotel for a nice stay when in the Ottawa area. As always, Holiday Inn is always reliable to be clean, nice and comfortable. The air condition could be a little cooler and it would have been perfect.

Service was OK and room was beautiful. It was a newly furnished executive suite with a beautiful view of the Ottawa River but AC wasn't working.. which was very uncomfortable considering it was more than 31 degrees C.

I really believe in this day and age no hotel should be left in this condition. The hotel is just pretty much old, really old fixtures, the bed was comfortable but rickety. They had some kind of construction work going on but long after the workers were gone home the Hallways were still dirty. Quite unimpressed and not planning to return at all.

This hotel was excellent. It was very comfortable and just a great place to stay. The staff was outstanding and the fact that they were functional in both official lagauages was of great help for someone who unfortunately cannot speak french.

This is an okay hotel it's clean and quite and close to where a I needed to be. THe staff here are nice.

The hotel was conveniently located just over the bridge from Ottawa and was a great rate considering the outrageous hotel prices in Ottawa. The room was huge, two comfortable double beds, desk, chair, two little chairs and coffee table, TV. Really surprised at how unfriendly and NOT helpful the staff was. Usually have good experiences at Holiday Inn.

Definitely showing it's age. A bit far from Ottawa center. Restaurant poor. It did in a pinch.

Great staff. Comfortable room. Easy walk to museums and Parliament. Nice stay.

Did not enjoy this room at all. It was not up to Holiday Inn standards, and will not be staying there ever again.

Very disappointed booked non smoking room and told on check-in only smoking rooms available. Room smelled of smoke, so did we and all our clothes on checking out. Dated decor, tv only about 17 inches, no flat screens here. The location was convenient to Ottawa. This is the worst Holiday Inn we have ever been to. The decor was outdated and the price reflected a hotel of higher quality. There was no parking for our vehicle as it did not fit in the underground. The beds were so hard and the pillows so flat that sleeping in the office chair was the best option for comfort. Quiet location right across war museum in Ottawa, takes only few minutes drive to downtown Ottawa and Parliament Hills. Parking on site $17 with in-out privileges, free around the hotel on weekend. Big deep pool, not suitable for small children. Delicious buffet breakfast in the morning. Very nice walking/ bicycle path in a park along the river.

Our rooms were ready when we got there (3PM). The staff was friendly and the rooms were comfortable but could've used a little renovation and some cleaning but all in all for what we paid it was quite acceptable.

The hotel is good. The location is excellent. The hotel's staff was not friendly.

I was comtemplating on my journey home whether I should send an email to the hotel's general manager or to Holiday Inn headquarters. It's a shame that the very unfriendly staff spoiled my stay at this otherwise fine (though overpriced) hotel. What my experience of poor service boils down to was that they were not busy with other guests at all, but treated […] me as though I was an inconvience rather than person to whom they should show hospitality. 'Tis a pity that I will not consider staying at this hotel again (and will think twice before staying at any other Holiday Inn). Devamı

tres bien mes les renovations sont pas de tres belles qualitées

La réception de l'hotel est en rénovation Mai's le service d'accueil est très bien. Notre chambre était très propre et très grande. Nous avons eu in très Bonnie unit de sommeli.

Un belle hotel mais un peu chère puisqu'ils sont en construction... peu accessible à la reception en auto. Charge en plus du prix de la chambre le stationnement au prix de ± 13$.

O quarto possuia um cheio desagradável e estava em frente ao elevador, o qual apitava ao chegar no andar. Internet boa e estacionamento pago. Estive hospedada em setembro de 2011.

L'hôtel en question vous offrent de bon tarif et un assez bon service. Par contre, en réservant par hôtel.com, à mon arrivée, on m'a donné une chambre lit king comme je l'avais réservé. Par contre, c'était une chambre fumeur alors que nous avions choisi une chambre non-fumeur. On m'a expliqué qu'en réservant par hotel.com, on nous conservait un place […] mais aucune chambre nous était précisément attitrée. Alors je vous conseille de faire votre ''Check-in tôt'' afin d'avoir une chambre comme vous le vouliez lors de votre réservation. Excellentes prestations, Le stationnement se fait dans la rue, c'est gratuit et il y a toujours des places.

Chambre très correcte pour 4 personnes, par contre ne pas hésiter à demander à la réception les serviettes pour quatre personnes car les femmes de ménages ne laissent que trois serviettes maxi par chambre et ceux malgrès nos multiples demandes en réception. Qualité du service un peu en dessous de la classe de l'hôtel, dommage mais très agréable quand […] même comme séjour. Devamı
