US Travelers Inn & Suites - Carlsbad

The advertisement promised a bathtub with jets; we didn't get that. Apparently, we had a room that had not been upgraded. Quiet but not worth the money.

My husband and I were in Carlsbad to visit relatives and stayed at his hotel. The desk people were so friendly and nice and I think exceptionally helpful. The room was unusually large and very clean and the beds were quite comfortable. We will stay there each time we visit our relatives!

We had a problem with toilet . Notified the front desk. We went to dinner and when we came back, the problem was partially fixed. The front desk offered us another suite if we wer not satisfied. We were pleased with the offer and happy that they were willing to take care of us.

Staff was wonderful !

we only had a brief stay as we were on our way to santa fe for christmas. Hotel was warm and accomodating.

And really good service. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was very simple but fine. Some updating could be done in room (modernize style, bathroom appliances). Good location since it is not far at all from Carlsbad Caverns, Guadalupe Mountains, and White Sands National Monument. Easy access to highways. Pool was fun for kids.

Walls are very thin and not at all soundproof. Very annoying.

My companion and I have a mixed view of this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful; the room was reasonably clean, though the hotel was a bit run down. He really liked the breakfast, and I didn't like it as much. Overall it was a decent place to stay, and inexpensive, but next time I might want to stay somewhere a little bit nicer and on the near […] side of town to the caverns and Guadalupe Mountains National Park. Nice room, good breakfast including waffles. Pool sizable and indoors. Only downsides was the breakfast room was a bit small in size and the lack of elevators (but you could easily park by a door and the hotel is only two stories).

The hotel was average, in door pool was nice.

This hotel was pretty good, the only problem we had was the lighting in the room was really dim. Other then that it was satisfactory.

This was a very nice clean hotel in the northern part of Carlsbad. Good location, no problem with traffic/road construction after staff gave us some direction. The room was large and very clean. The continental breakfast was good and pretty well stocked. Overall if we make it back to Carlsbad, this would be our choice to stay.

I wanted a clean, safe place to stay and I didn't want to pay over one hundred and twenty dollars. There were no nasty surprizes there. The staff was friendly; the rooms were clean although not fancy. There was a nice contineal breakfast. My only unmet need was WiFI.

What a surprise to find such a wonderfully large room; terrific, clean bathroom, with raised toilet and grab bars! A mercy for older adults, and the only accommodation among 6 in New Mexico we used during our week's vacation. I was not expecting much because of the rates, but it reminded me of a 3 or 4 year old Hampton Inn. The room was comfortable, quiet, and well-arranged. The wi-fi was fast and easy to access. The beds were very comfortable - location is great to go to Carlsbad Caverns - In our observation, this was one of the best hotel in the area to stay. The place looks brand new. It was a rough ride to arrive at this hotel due to street construction. Other than that, the place is nice and comfortable but a little on the pricey side.

The Hotel needs to be refurbished. It is scratched up and the tub was painted but the traction coat was coming off. The beds were not made the second night of the stay. No meat in the breakfast. Not at all good for the dollars spent.

No complaints about this hotel it was perfect from great breakfast , free wifi to size of the room. Best hotels we have stayed in over the last 3 weeks here in the usa.

My dad and I reserved separate rooms, so all I can speak about is mine. It was very, very clean but even though it was supposed to be a non-smoking room, it absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke which set my sinuses into a tizzy and had me feeling miserable the whole time there. Room was ok for the price. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. People were friendly. Nothing really good or really bad. I would stay there again for a cheaper end room. For anything more than that, no.

Generic modern roadside motel. Nicely maintained. Indoor pool is very visible to passersby in motel. Nice options for breakfast, though self serve. Across the street from movie theater, so that's a plus. But Carlsbad is not much of a town. Not a place to stay more than a day. It's also 25 miles from the caverns and this motel is the furthest away as […] you come to it as you enter the town on the north end and then have to go south of town to the caverns. If you're spending more than one night in town it's better to stay at the south end of the town if you're continuing south after visiting the caverns. Devamı

Our room and the common areas were clean, and the free breakfast had a very good selection. The pool and hot tubs were out of order. Our toilet was partially plugged when we came in; when we first reported it they handed us a plunger (but they fixed it properly the next morning).
