Pheasant Run Resort - St. Charles

My room looked very mediocre!!!! And for the price we paid I would think it would look more inviting and relaxing. It wasn't what I expected and I will never go back. They were even doing construction on the room next to us at 8am in the morning!!!! All I heard was drilling over our heads. So I walked out the rooom and gave those idiots a good cursing […] out. That was far from relaxing and how am I suppose to sleep in with all that racket!!!! So NOT cool!!!! The toilet would barely flush. This resort needs to be ashamed for calling themsselves a resort. The pillows were very uncomfortable. There was no exhaust fan in bathroom. Other than those two things every thing was great!

This hotel was fun for the grandkids with their Mardi Gras celebration and the indoor/outdoor pool. However, there were 2 major problems....the atrium pool and hot tub are under repair and have not been open for some time. Staff cannot seem to tell you when they will reopen. Our rooms were very noisy with people in the halls late and slamming doors. […] We would not stay here without kids. Devamı

I live in the area and drive past the Pheasant Run on a daily basis. I have been there a number of times and thought it would be fun to take my son and a couple of his friends to go swimming in the "indoor/outdoor" pool during their Christmas break. I thought I could relax in the hottub and we would all just relax a little. The pool was chilly, my floor […] smelled of fish, I didn't want to say anyhting since the hotel personal upgraded me to the tower...The pool with the hottub was closed which I didn't understand since all the pools are swim at your own risk...needless to say, I was a little disappointed. My kids and I like to stay 2-3 every winter to swim in the indoor/outdoor pool and take a hot tub. My recent stay, (very short) the hot tub and indoor pool were closed and the indoor/outdoor pool's heater was broken. We not informed at check-in and found out when we walked in, saw the hot tub closed and after changing into our swim suits and heading […] to pool, we passed a group of kids who said the pool is freezing! They were accomodating at the front desk and offered to refund my money but I said we would be back most likely again this winter so save it. We have had to much fun over the years, so we will try it one more time but I'll ask if the pool's are open and warm BEFORE checking in. Devamı

The hot tub and main pool were closed for renovation and not noted on the website! Main reason we wanted to stay in the winter. Also the courtyard wing smelled like mold. Our room smelled as well I perfumed it to no end. The best part is when I was checking out I advised the man at the desk of the above. It was our 20th anniversary and it was not as […] great. He said "oh yea sorry about that" and walked away. Bad customer service! Won't stay again because of that point! Devamı

I had a room in the court yard and that wasn't a good choice I had some colleagues that were in the tower and that's were I'll stay next year

We stayed as a family at the pheasant Run Resort for a week while visiting family nearby. There are three options of room types at the Resort. The main building, the Tower, and the Golf wing. We were originally put in the main building and were not happy. The room felt and smelt old. I told the front desk that we were going to have to cut short our […] stay because my wife was unhappy. They then took me around to see a few other rooms. They agreed to move us to the golf wing at no additional charge. The golf wing room was fantastic. It was newer, fresher and bright and airy. It was split level room with a fridge and a large walk in bathroom. We were very happy for the rest of our stay. I didn't get a chance to play the golf course, but the pro shop did lend me a six iron so that I could hit some balls at the range. The gym was OK but could use an upgrade. Devamı

`We have had such a wonderful time at Pheasant Run every time we go there. The staff are wonderful, the facility is clean and the grounds are beautiful. We highly recommend it.

When my brand new husband and I checked into our booked room, we were double upgraded to a super king luxury suite. We throughly enjoyed our visit, the room was more than we could have wished for. Thank you to the Pheasant Run Resort!!

Very disappointed with hotel service. Our room was supposed to be available at 4:00 p.m. (most others are earlier) and wasn't until 4:30. If I hadn't gone back to the reception desk and pestered them it would have probably been much later than that. Also, there was very limited parking. Room and parts of hotel smelt musty. Bathroom door would not shut - TV remote did not work good. Mega Center was set up great for dance competition. Friendly staff.

From the moment I called to request an early check in, my experience at Pheasant Run Resort was wonderful. With every new person I met during my stay, I was greeted with a smile. Everyone was very professional and customer service oriented. This quailty was never more apparent than when I lost my wallet after check out. I was almost home (3 hours away) […] when I discovered my wallet missing. When I called the hotel to inquire, the person answering the phone knew immediately of which I was speaking. She asked all of the appropriate questions for identification of my lost item and transfered me to security. Security again assured me that they were in possession of my wallet and that all identification/cards/money was still present. The officer I spoke with offered to over-night the wallet. I did indeed receive the package overnight and all items were present and accounted for. As for the surroundings, it is very beautifully decorated in the Louisiana French Quarter style. Restaurants, bars, arcades are all available. I was not at the resort long enough to be abe to enjoy the pools but they looked lovely. I would highly recommend this resort to family and friends. I look forward to a time that I can take my family and enjoy all the resort has to offer. Devamı

This is the second time in a row that I booked a specific area of the hotel only to be told when I got to the hotel that those rooms were not available. I was upgraded this time at no extra charge to the towers which I did not like at all

My girlfriends and I have stayed at Pheasant Run before and look forward to our stay. We were given excellent treatment from the time we checked in to the time when we checked out. Everyone was friendly, the room was comfortable and clean and when we returned from a day of shopping it was a great place to come back and relax. We will definitely be […] back! Devamı

My room was the very first room off the lobby, room 102. It was very loud the entire time as I heard people walking back and forth the entire time as well as carts being pushed and such. When I complained upon check out, they merely comped me my $10 for valet. I thought that was lousy as I am an expirienced travel. The room was small, the walls are thin, the design is strange with the only window looking onto the corridor so you have to keep the blinds firmly closed. The water smells absolutely awful, almost like sewage. The person checking me in, while not rude, was disinterested and curt. The hotel is far from most parts of town that people would need access […] to. I would never stay there again. Devamı

We got there and they were not ready at the 4pm check-in, but they did switch us to another room so we could get in on time. They did great with this, but that is where it ended. This was Labor Day weekend ...on a Sunday night and they were severely understaffed. They treated it like a normal Sunday (with staffing) when it was a holiday weekend AND […] they were supporting a beauty pageant at their main hall. Lots of kids, messes, etc ...which is not the problem. The problem is that their were hardly any staff cleaning up in main areas, not enought waiters, bartenders, people cleaning pool (more on that in a second), people cleaning rooms, etc, etc. In fact, and i kid you not, this poor girl was a bartender for TWO bars in the hotel at one time!! She was running back and forth. Again ...PACKED hotel. They have some pretty cool pools, but one was shut down for a night due to a child barfing in it and the other (the in-out pool) was shut down for a morning due to a child letting #2 loose :) ...That stuff happens ...of course..but..hours and hours because guess what? No staff to clean. The one restaurant we ate at (Jambalaya's) ..one waitress while we were there. So you can imagine all the service levels go way down. I don't like to complain and I certainly am not expecting above average levels of service ...but just imagine what service is like with double the adults, quadruple the kids due to the pageant go-ers (families), and now add in 1/3 of the staff! HOTEL: The place itself is decent enough. A bit outdated. It has some decent restaurants and once can have fun there. You can tell it has been built in pieces ..so different decorations throughout the hotel. The New Orleans theme in the middle is alright I guess. The pools are good, etc. The rooms were clean and decent. TV was outdated. just "normal" rooms. FOOD: a tad expensive but certainly not outrageous. Food is pretty good. This hotel was on the sight of the Bloomington Corvette show, so very convenient location, but we were in an older area of the hotel that must have been converted from being exterior entrances to having the hallways enclosed, but this trapped all the heat from the room ac units making the hallway close to, or over 100 degrees.

The was great except there was a very strong odor in the room that was almost overwhelming. I beleive it some kind of carpet odorizer or something of that nature.
