When I arrived there was no attendant and no way to reach anyone. A sign on tghe desk said to pick up the phone in the lobby to reach someone but it just rang right behind the desk (where there was noone). Other than this hiccup the place was great. Friendly staff, love the complimentary laundry service. Hoping one of these days they'll start serving free breakfast...if that happens this will definitely be my overall favorite hotel to stay at.

This hotel's location + price was our primary reason for booking. We should have gone with one of the pricier options nearby. The hotel was not able to honor our request for adjacent rooms even though we booked many weeks in advance. Our kids were 3 long hallways away - majorly inconvenient. Our biggest complain was the lack of ventilation and consistent […] temperature control in the rooms. The air was always odor laden. It was vaguely repulsive every time we entered the room. Sofa cushions were not clean (in a sketchy kind of way) and the bathrooms were not spotless when we checked in. On the plus side, the beds/pillows/sheets are great! Devamı

I wish they had atleast cleaned our room! I stayed with my family for 3 days and not once did they come to clean our room.

this hotel was very clean and quiet and even offered a place to wash clothes for free along with a small exercise room. my only suggestion would be for them to update their tv sets to flat screens. they still have the old style heavy tube televisions

Though very easy access to and from the highway, we were next to the elevator. It was a very busy hote.

A very good, simple and clean hotel. Perfect for you if you hae a car and need to do business in Hoffman. Otherwise (wthout a car), it's a bit difficult to move around

i needed a place that was priced right for 2 girls and myself.where in town for a softball tournement and needed lots of space.Rooms where large and very clean.Would stay again.

Very nice room comfortable and roomy

Except for lacking a continental breakfast, which I have come to expect, this hotel was GREAT. We were entertaining cousins and the 2-room suite worked out fabulous. We were short 2 chairs and the hotel brought them in when we asked. No continental breakfast but they did have a small "commissary" where food and drinks were available for purchase on […] the honor system. I've never seen anything like this before but I LOVED IT! Much larger selection than just normal vending machines including ice cream, microwaveable meals, etc. Perhaps a little more than a grocery store but in the hotel so no driving. Overall, GREAT. Booked through HOTELS.com so paid less than going rate. Recommend to everyone. Devamı

Pleasantly surprised with the Candlewood Estates. Clean, everything in order, good location, nice staff. The room was very comfortable and the bed was awesome. Had a little trouble with the thermostat, but that was just me. :) Couldn't figure out a temp. that suit me. Shower great, linens nice, everything I needed in the kitchen. This was a great place to stay. The room we had was nice, clean and well maintained. The Front Desk staff was wonderful. We arrived much later than we had planned and we still welcomed. We liked the services offered by the hotel. Although we did not personally use the washers and dryers available, it was great to know we could. Location was great. We wanted a reasonable hotel in the burbs so that we were close to a few of the forest preserves and the Fox River trail for biking. This was perfect and very reasonable. One of the nicer chain hotels. Very clean and quiet. The refrigerator was great for keeping snacks and breakfast items cold and convenient.

the gym facilities were horrible.

we stayed at candlewood for 2 days and it was as expected.A comfy room,kitchen,microwave,even utensils were available in the room.They have free internet,fast enough.I had no problems in a video chat on my laptop.But there is no breakfast,given that u get a kitchen.Be prepared for extra charges,what you pay at hotels.com is not final.Only problem is […] that is 30 miles from downtownAll in all,a nice place to stay. We were here for a race and loved the fact that we could cook our morning oatmeal in the microwave and store our water in a refrigerator. We did not know those amenities would be in the room, so it was a pleasant surprise. We really loved the gift/grocery store and did buy some items there the night we arrived including some fruit, cheese, water, a […] comb, 2 toothbrushes and toothpaste. Thank you. I like this hotel because I had room to spread out to work and not feel cramped. The room was well organized and I will stay there again.

The room was nice, clean, and super comfortable!!! Great place, priced right, and would stay there again.

Very Big & clean room & washroom, Nice location.

Their 800 number told me that the Pet fee was $30...but upon arrival I was told it was $75...nobody would budge on the price and the manager the front desk lady called was rude and abrasive. Good hotel but keep in mind that their customer service is horrid, minus the very helpful front desk attendant. I just can't understand how you can call the main […] hotline twice and get one fee told to you and then when you show up you get another...amazing. And since I had prepaid with Hotels.com I was between a rock and a hard place...I had no other option than to pay. We had a wonderful stay. The staff were respectful and enthusiastic to the guests as well as co-workers. You knew the staff were happy with their work.
