We stayed near family for several days at Christmas. The hotel was a great location for us and I couldn't believe how quiet it was inside. Very pleased.

we stayed 1 night so we could catch a flight out the next day. the room was great, nice to have a kitchen- even though we didn't need it for 1 night- loved the breakfast the next morning and the parking lot was well lit.

Very nice place to stay in the Arlington area, comfortable, clean, pleasant staff and the kitchenette, saves time, trouble and money from constantly eating out.

Hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly. Easy access to interstate. Located in a quaint neighborhood close to shops and restaurants. Would definitely recommend to others.

I enjoyed this hotel so much I returned on my way home. The property is tucked away in a residential neighborhood and feels GREAT!! You will love the rooms and staff

Townplace Suites is reasonably priced and conveniently located. The suite included a full kitchen, which was a nice way to save a few bucks on dinner, although this is clearly a more important feature for longer stays than the two nights I was there. This is definitely a hotel I would consider staying at again and one I would recommend to others.

This hotel by far exceeded my expectations. When I first checked in the room was a little warm. I had trouble adjusting the thermostat, so they quickly and easily moved me to another room down the hall. After I checked out I realized that my diamond earrings were missing. After leaving a message with the front desk, to my surprise, I actually got a […] call back that someone had found them.........and the hotel was going to send them back. Two days later I received my earrings via FedEx. I am VERY impressed and greatful!! Devamı

First time staying at hotel and will be back many more times. Very convenient to food and bars. Much cheaper than staying in Arlington or DC, and you are only one Metro stop away.

We only stayed overnight but were extremely impressed with the quality of the hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was very clean, our room was very clean and comfy. We walked to the State Theatre which only took a couple mins. We drove to the East Falls Church station to catch the metro into Washington DC. We stayed there last weekend while apartment hunting in the area. the location was convenient to where we wanted to be and the exterior elevations looked nice. but that is all good i have to say about this hotel... the room smelled. my husband didn't smell it but the air was damp. i kept windows open during the day which helped a little but not eliminated […] the problem. the room was clean when we arrived but the service could be better (they would leave my dirty spoon right on the counter, without washing it;) the bed was comfortable. the breakfast was only a snack (bananas, cereal, coffee and granola bar). my husband went there only one morning. definitely not worth getting up early to get it. and perhaps this all is not bad if you do not know better. we stayed two weeks ago at the sierra hotel by Dulles airport and it was AMAZING! beautiful room, excellent service, full breakfast with omelets done to order. price per night: the SAME! highly recommended, if you don't mind being in that location... When we first arrived we thought the place was going to be great and from there it was downhill. Beware when you are booking that there are 2 buildings!!!!!!! So after arriving at 11P.M. we where informed that we needed to go outside of our building through the parking lot to the other bldg. for ice. Ice machine had been broke in our bldg for over 2 […] yrs. That also meant that for the breakfast items we would also have to do the same. When we checked out the pool we found out that it did not open untill 1P.M. This was a holiday weekend and temps. were in the mid 90's--- are you kidding me!! In the end we changed hotels because we got no where with the manager. in fact we were told that "maybe we were not the type of client they were catering to ." We have stayed at Townplace suites before and have never run into these problems. Devamı

Location is convenient to the metro and plenty of food, grocery stores, and everything you'll need. I loved the room which was an efficiency style with full fridge and oven/stove. Quiet neighborhood. Friendly staff and always helpful for non locals. Also, while the pool is open, there is always a lifeguard on duty which is great for families. The hotel itself was really nice. There was some confusion about the type of room requested when we arrived. I signed up for a one bedroom suite but got a room with two beds and a kitchen when I arrived. When speaking with the hotel.com staff I requested a suite with a separate bedroom, as I knew I would be traveling with my husband, son (20), and nephew […] (21), and I knew I could not share a single room with all of those men! When I spoke to front desk, the gentleman told me that the hotel was overbooked, and had to settle for that room. He said it was no fault of theirs and to take it up with hotel.com. They should have tried to assist me a little better! It took my husband, who is a cop, to really go off on them before they would give us what I requested. For this reason, they get the low score for quality of hotel service and overall rating. I believe the situation should have been rectified a lot more easily. They told me that it was the fault of hotel.com and they could not fix it. I'm not sure whose fault it was. I requested a one-bedroom suite and was very clear as to what and why I needed it. The rep from hotel.com said she understood and assured me that I was getting a one bedroom suite with the bedroom separate from the kitchen/ living areas by a door and a sleeper in the living area that folds out to sleep two. She told me that the room would sleep six (6) people. So, the ball was dropped somewhere! I don't believe we should have suffered for their errors! Devamı

Nice room, good location. Asked for wake up call twice, did not get a call either day, besides that it was a great stay.

This was a great place for me to stay - the price was right and the staff was superb. The breakfast was a very basic continental - cereal and fruit and coffee. I knew it wouldn't be the most convenient location for me but chose this hotel based on price.

Great value and very comfortable! Loved the pillows! Easy access to DC via metro and into Alexandria. Would highly recommend and will plan to stay again.

nice clean room withe nice small kitchen.The only thing, it is not a suite,at least when I booked it was described as a suite with a separate area for another person to slep on a queen sofa bed. Not so.Also the TV was good only to watch from bed or turn it around completly to watch from a chair.

Nice hotel. My wife and I stayed in a Studio, which was a little larger than a normal hotel room. The mini-kitchen was great. Breakfast wasn't much, (cereal and muffins) but it works. Room was clean, bed was comfy, nice TV, free wired internet worked fine. Staff was friendly and helpful. Convenient to dining just around the corner. (I recommend the […] Dogwood Tavern. I would NOT recommend the Mexican place across the street from the entrance. We didn't actually eat there, but we went in and, well, it's kinda creepy.) Metro is just over a mile away, so it was easy to drive there and park for the day. Overall a good choice for DC area hotel. Devamı

Great place. Looks like small apartment complex. Quiet, pretty. Beautiful walking neighborhood also stores/restaurants within walking distance. Would stay here again.

Stayed here with three young children. Our two bedroom suite worked well with the kids in one room and us in the smaller room. The one bathroom was small, but adequate. The kitchen was clean and enabled us to eat in with ease. The location was quiet and convenient to Tysons Corner where we were joining family for a birthday party. Overall our stay was Great! The rooms are nice, clean and met all of our needs very well. The pool was nice too, a bit small. We did have one issue during our stay. The housekeeping lady did not finish our room, letting the trash can full and sitting in the middle of the kitchen area and then allowing our room door open for anyone to enter. We chose this hotel because of its location to the State Theater. Clean, convenient, and reasonably priced. It would be great for an extended stay because of the kitchenette, although it was great for a weekend stay also.

The refrigerator was rattling each night and would awaken me from a nice sleep. Obviously, I was not happy with my stay. That was a waste of money. Too late to get a refund. We tried to stay out most of the time and only use the room to rest our heads.

Nice facility, convenient location and the full kitchen was a bonus.

The bedrooms were very comfortable with terrific linens. The furnishings were standard and sterile. This hotel fit our budget because we needed 2 bedrooms. They only provide a refresh maid service if stay is less than one week. This means change of towels but no real cleaning of bathroom or kitchen facilites. I really liked the amenities of the hotel but the maintenance of the pipes and appliances were needed repair. Everytime I washed off anything in the kitchen sink water would run from the back of the faucet. The refrigerator motor was very loud and would knock like it would fall out of the refrigerator. You could tell they had not maintained the room. They […] did not have a continental breakfast and really no area to sit and enjoy so we mostly ate out for breakfast and dinner. If you want somewhere just to lay your head this could be the place. Devamı

the room did not have a musty smell like some do - very pleasant w/dishes plates etc - nothing lacking - also all rooms have entrances inside which keeps the musty smell down - entry from outside allows dampness to get into the room - i noticed this especially in VA which is a swamp anyway

This hotel has full service kitchens, has great beds, is quiet, and is only a couple miles out of DC. It is probably the best hotel for the money. They also have breakfast and newspapers!!

Not really a hotel at all, looked like what once was an apartment complex that had been bought and converted to a "suites" accomodation. The rooms were very sparsely decorated and the furniture was more like something in a lobby. Clean and roomy enough but not my idea of what a hotel suite should be.
