I had to travel to New Orleans to go to the Venezuelan COnsulate. This hotel was only 3 blocks from it. We checked in Saturday around 5:30pm and were welcomed right away, the process only took a couple of minutes. We walked to the Riverwalk (about 5 blocks) and did the French Quarter on Sunday, very close to everything. We parked at the Whitney Parking […] lot right next door because the line for cars at the hotel was backed up, it's $30 a day but it's almost the same with the valet at the hotel and it's covered. Breakfast was fine, bagels, toast, a waffle maker, cereal and boiled eggs, coffee and juice. I would reccomend this hotel for anyone wanting to visit N.O. We had a high floor so the noise from outside didn't bother us. The beds were comfy. Devamı

We have stayed at La Quinta Inn & Suites before and were happy to again. The location in Camp Street, just off Canal Street and the French Quarter is perfect. The French Quarter is only a few minutes walk away and the trolley car to the Garden District very close as well. The hotel rooms are comfortable with coffee making facilities a bonus. We booked our room while driving to the hotel with total ease. We had a spacious and very clean room. Valet parking was easy breezy. Bed was comfortable. Yes I will stay at this hotel again.

The LaQuinta is the embodiment of the old real estate axiom: location, location, location. Only a block or two off Canal and the entrance to the Quarter, it is removed enough from the craziness to be a suitable business hotel, but still convenient to all of the restaurants and nightlife. Hotel itself is fine - rooms were spacious and clean, but nothing […] special. My view was of concrete wall about 6 feet away, but who spends time in a NOLA hotel room? Was great experience, the people was very nice and the service is impeccable, the hotel is in a very cool area, very secure near to everything, good restaurants, metro station, touristic landmarks.. i highly recommend this place... a little difficult to park

I would gladly stay here again, but it doesn't jump out at you as exceptional for any reason. Staff was very nice. Rooms were perfectly average. Clean, okay location, all in all, equal to most chain hotels.

Positives: Close to French Quarter, lots of (chain-type) shopping in immediate area. Great rooms (we had to change beds for 2nd night as it was so soft it was uncomfortable). Breakfasts great. This hotel was in a very good location, within walking distance from the French Quarter. Our room was very spaciuos, in fact, I would describe it as large. The staff was great. Breakfast was OK, nothing special. My only negative would be there was no restaraunt on site. which forced you to go out to Canal St. to get any food after breakfast. If you are staying at a hotel, I think its stupid that they make you pay for parking!!! If your staying, it should be included.....and I was unaware of it.

I booked the La Quinta because it was convenient to a conference I was attending. It is a nice hotel with a great staff. All were eager to help in every way and were completely pleasant to deal with. The continental breakfast is a big help and was more than just the run-of-the-mill pastries. It was a good (and free!) start to the day. I arrived about half an hour before official check-in time. The room he gave me was meant for somebody in a wheelchair, I would have preferred a regular room. The view out of my 4th floor window was that of a block wall about 20' away. Everything else was pretty good. I stayed in a King-bed room that was very spacious, with a large sitting area. The room had all the basic appliances - small fridge, microwave and TV (rather small one). There were some maintenance issues - AC was not working properly, and a mirror was cracked, but it was clean and quiet. This was the perfect hotel downtown for anyone staying in town, wanting to be close to the French Quarter and trying to be on a budget.

There were repairs needed in the room. Heat did not work. Shades would not stay open. Bathroom doors close or latch. Clothes iron did not work. Had to request coffee filters, coffee and towels upon arrival. Room was more like a Motel 6 but the service was good. Location was very good and the room was clean.

Booked a last-minute trip to New Orleans and this ended up being a great choice. Very nice location. Everything you need to see in the French Quarter/Central Business District is well within walking range without being right in the middle of it all. Relatively quiet block. Great location. Only complaint is that the breakfast was served 6-9 during the week and until 10 am on weekends. If you like to sleep in, go elsewhere for breakfast.

I stayed 3 days AC was broke the first day I arrived request to fix twice no one show. Carpet are sticky and dirty, but over all room and service are ok.

Carpet needs cleaning throughout. Rooms had odor. Staff was nice, but had trouble with confirmed reservations, room keys not working, security seems a little lax outside with loitering.

I like almost everything. The location is very central b8ut not too close for the party-er to become an annoyance. Loved the room too. The only thing I only criticize is that the breakfast is all plastic and Styrofoam and the lady at the front desk did not know where the laundry room is or how much the machines are.

I booked through hotels.com because the price of the host hotel was exorbitant. I stayed at La Quinta for half the price and got an excellent room. It was very large and comfortable and I felt very safe walking to my conference 1 block away. It was close to restaurants and shopping.

Had elevator issues one day of 4 but other than that the place was better than expected. Rooms were large, clean with very comfortable beds. Furnature needed to to be cleaned as there appeared to be quite a few drink related stains on fabric. (In NewOrleans imagine that!) Overall a better than average experience.

The hotel was in a perfect location for a quick weekend getaway. The hotel was nicely appointed, and except for a bizarre hole in our bathroom wall patched up with blue tape, I have no complaints about the room.
