I stayed at the Candlewood Suites for one night when visiting Waukegan on business. Friendly staff, clean room and a fair price. While Candlewood Suites has no restaurant, restaurants including Chili's and a Dunkin Donuts are just down the road.

Almost an extended stay hotel. Room was small for a "suite" but kitchen had everything needed. Parking lot view. Television reception terrible. Clean except for wad of black hairs on the sheet-luckily at the foot of the bed. No direct entrance to property-have to do a uturn on the access road. Large shopping area across the street.

staff was rude and it was our anniversary weekend

I really enjoyed my stay here overall as the hotel was very clean, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The location is convenient to the Naval Base and they also offered a shuttle to and from the graduation at no charge. There are restaurants practically within walking distance from the hotel. My only dislikes were that the room was a little […] stuffy and it was a bit challenging to get it to a temperature setting that was comfortable and the bathroom didn't have an exhaust fan. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this hotel for those coming to the Waukegan area. Devamı

I was in town for my sons Navy graduation. The hotel provides a shuttle to and from the base. There are restaurants and stores nearby. I reserved a one bedroom suite which worked out great because it gives you the feeling of home. After boot camp I'm sure that my son appreciated the homey feeling while he was visiting. The hotel was very close to our destination and we enjoyed the stay.

Overall, the hotel was very clean and the room I was in was nice-sized (Queen suite). I was visiting my husband in Great Lakes, which was only 5 minutes away. The fact that the suite has a mini-kitchen was wonderful for heating food and giving the visit a sense of homey-ness.

Comfortable, clean, quiet, and a nice fitness area to watch tv and work out in after a long day of work. Always enjoy my stay!

It was a large room with all of the ammenities one would need for an extended stay. Pleasant suroundings and quiet comfort. The only thing that could have made it better would have been an indoor jacuzzi. Other that that, no complaints.

Hotel was very clean. Personal very nice I would stay at the hotel again.
