Extended Stay America Fort Lauderdale - Deerfield Beach - Deerfield Beach

Booked a Queen room on Hotels.com, when we checked in we were in a double room. Desk clerk was nice enough to change room after I complained. Queen room was musty smelling & bed was uncomfortable. Not a good deal for the price. Definitely would not have been happy if we were staying more than one night. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel was well-maintained and the room was clean and comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised that it was as good a place to stay as other places in the area that cost the same or more. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful- always a good sign! Easy access from I-95. I'd stay again!

Good price , clean with kitchen

This hotel didn't have sliding glass doors and a drive through registration area, instead it had a sign upon entering that pointed to the office. This tipped us off that it wasn't really a hotel really, but more of an apartment complex. Once we got to the front we saw a few undesirables sitting out on benches, making us wondering if they were waiting […] for ??? There was a Sheriff's car parked backwards right up to the front doors where there wasn't a spot. This was both reassuring and alarming. The people at the front desk were friendly and nice, but the disinfectant smell in the hallways and rooms was overpowering. We chose to stay at a different hotel on our second night. My daughter's roommate suggested this place - said her parents stayed there. I knew I should have gotten out from the get-go, even if I had to pay triple the cost to stay somewhere else, when I encountered the "staff," which consisted of one girl with the worst attitude and business acumen I have ever encountered. She obviously has no idea that she […] works in the "hospitality" industry. I had to wait outside the door until the girl finished what she was doing and grudgingly let me in. We fought for 45 minutes over whether I was going to get a room even though I had a reservation. Apparently she had run some audit on her computer which prevented reservations from coming through. I tried to explain to her that I did not care about the technicalities of her job, that I just wanted a room, any room. I finally agreed to pay again and wait for a refund in the morning. The drama was way too long and unbelievable to elaborate on here, but at the last minute my reservation did show up on her computer. Believe me, if I had a way to leave, I would have, but I didn't want to wait for a cab at midnight. The room appeared clean until I noticed the crushed crack pipe on the carpet (no, I am not kidding) and I counted 9 burn holes in the bedspread. I should have walked to the nearest hotel, but I had been travelling for 19 hours and just wanted to sleep. At least the hotel was quiet if you kept the windows closed (right next to the freeway). Will stay there again, clean, comfortable. Barebones but also full refigerator and microwave and kitchen dishes and utensils. Bring shampoo. No daily maid service but do not need it.

The address for this hotel is wrong (it is on, "East State Road 84"; not West -- late at night, this makes it almost impossible to find (few people at gas stations speak english or know the area). The phone late at night is only answered by a recorded phone tree (no one picks up at the hotel). I couldn't get anyone at the hotel on the phone to tell […] me where the hotel was, since the address was wrong. They charge for internet access, when it is advertised as, Free Wi Fi. Devamı

Was in town for a quick visit to see family over the holidays - excellent price for clean and safe hotel - would stay there again!

The best part of my stay was the price. We were given horrible service from the moment we stepped in, waiting at the front counter for well over 5 minutes, directly in front of a customer service rep that barely acknowledged us. The room itself had a musty smell as soon as we opened the door and never got better. Luckily the bathroom's smell changed […] from a mildew smell, to cigarette smoke, to nothing at all depending on the time of day. So that makes one part of the room without an odor. There was one morning where we left the room and noticed that the cleaning ladies were only one room past us. After going about our day we returned to find our room uncleaned. I'm guessing they couldn't be bothered to go back to a room after they had already moved on. Mind you, they were at the very next room so I may have expected too much from them. Devamı

We enjoyed staying for a quick weekend family visit. This hotel is located in a decent part of town. It has a secured lobby area after 8 pm, a nice playground next door and a Cracker Barrel adjacent to the parking lot. We were in a newly rennovated room on the first floor and it was perfect. My only recommendation would be to provide dish soap so […] we could clean our dishes after using them and shampoo, conditioner, soap for the bathroom. Price was right. Blankets very old or very worn. Phone and alarm clock should be replaced. Very comfortable room and very quiet. Basically a studio apartment without daily maid service. You can always get fresh towels or for a fee you can get daily maid service. Internet access ia a reasonable one time fee. Overall, I would consider staying there a […] gain. Devamı

For a hotel price, this efficiency was very comfortable. Great location on 95 makes close to Ft. Laud Airport. (about 20 min. straight highway)

I had a pleasant experience. The room was clean . The location was great, near I95. Easy to find. Neat little park less than 50 meter around the corner. Less than 3 miles from US1 and access to the beaches. Well worth the money. I would recommend to a friend

We were pleased with our room. It had a full sized 'frig and enough counter space. It could use a few more utensils. The king sized bed was very comfortable with a pillow topped mattress. The bathroom had good counter space which I like for my "stuff". The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is elevator service to the upper floors. The hotel met my expectations and I was satisfied with the offerings based on the price and facilities provided. The facility is well suited to the budget traveler who does not mind eliminating the usual frills found at more upscale properties. It was in a good location to places to eat, family I was visiting in Deerfield Beach. The staff was always friendly and courteous. we received towels as needed and most of all we were able to prepare meals in our rooms. All untisils were provided.

Aside from the hotel reeking reeking... I guess it was ok.

The motel is getting old and needs an upgrade.

No sense to the cleanliness problems of my room.

over all it was good for ouw one night stay clean and I was safe and my sleep was good Bathroom was clean

We had originally planned on staying for 5 days, but ended up extending our stay to 6 days for the 5---X National Convention in Fort Lauderdale on 1/26/2011(this convention can be found in the search engines as proof so that you know this is a real comment left by a real person) . The room was clean, had a kitchen, bathroom, and all the basic amenities. […] They brought us an extra bed within the first few minutes of checking in. They inform you at the desk that the cleaning lady only attends the room once every 7 days, but the option to have your room cleaned daily is available for a low fee. Also, they give you as many washcloths/towels/toilet paper as you need at the front desk or by asking the cleaning lady. Even though this is obviously NOT a 5 star hotel, I gave it a 5 star because for the type of mini hotel that it is, it was very clean and comfortable. Since we'd rented a car, it was an easy 15-20 minute drive to Fort Lauderdale convention center and all the surrounding shopping and food locations. The location is very convenient to I-95 highway for trips to Miami/South Beach also. Surrounding parking lot was safe and secure, as was the local neighborhood. I suggested the Extended Stay to others at the convention for next time. Most of them had paid over double what we paid! When my daughter and I come back down for a summer visit, this will definitely be where we'll stay! Devamı

Excelent, I would stay again in this hotel, there is also a cracker Barrel restaurant besides de hotel. the room has a little kitchen, oven, refri, a big tv. very good hotel

Was good for the price. The only thing is the transportation you need to walk to dixie hwy two miles if you want to take a bus.

Everything was as expected - this is a basic, no-frills hotel, right off I95, and convenient to 1A. The bed was comfortable, and these days we're thrilled to not encounter bedbugs as we have in other spots. A couple of comfortable chairs would have been welcome.

We used the hotel as a base for a shopping trip, the facilities were fine and check in/out was very easy. The front desk staff was very pleasant in our limited interactions (check in & query about Internet). The room was comfortable and everything worked well. the only problem is location of the tv is very down

It's was a smooth check-in. The reason why it wouldn't get good rating is because all rooms smell like smoking when I specifically chose non-smoking. Bathroom lacked bare essentials such as soap and shampoo. I had to get those from front desk. All items are cheap in the room in accordance with the price. No issues with staff.
