We stayed here to celebrate New Year in Prague and all Staff (with exception of the Breakfast Dining Room Staff) were extremely pleasant and helpful even though the hotel was very busy at this time of year. The room was spacious and very clean and the hotel is within easy walking distance to all the major sight seeing attractions. The only complaint […] was the miserable staff in the Breakfast Dining Room. Breakfast is served until 11am but when we arrived in the dining room at 10:35 we were met with very miserable faces and most of the food cleared away. However the hotel is beautiful. Devamı

Lovely hotel in a very good location. However, the hotel is very hot. We were given room 305,this was a noisy room and requested a change. We had a room on the 6th floor and this was much better. It takes only minutes to get to all the attractions, the old town is beautiful, so it was really nice to be based there. Noodle bar called "Zebra" is great […] place to eat, fab for vegetarians , as it is difficult to find local cuisine that doesn't include meat. If I was absolutely FORCED to criticise this hotel then I would say that maybe the pillows were a little bit too soft, but I was so pleased with the Hotel Palace Praha. If you're going to stay here then I would maybe advise you to try and get a room at the back of the hotel to avoid street noise, but the hotel is so well placed to get to theatres, […] the old town, Jewish quarter etc and the Mucha museum, directly over the road, is well worth a visit. We had a great stay at this hotel. The conceirge were very helpful, informative. Hotel within walking distance of everything and quite at night. Longest distance to charles bridge but is a 15 - 20 minutes walk and beautiful surrounding as you walk. The only negative for me is the decoration. RED RED, not very elegant for my taste, not a definitive style […] of decor. Enjoy Prague, a beautiful city, try to attend a concert at the Rudolfiln and local churches. Devamı

we had a nice time apart from the first night. We arrived in the hotel 11 pm tired from our trip only to find out they give out our room. I paid the whole 4 night stay up front to hotels.com. And we were transferred to a city hotel nearby which we find not of the same value as we expected. There are call cards advertised in the elevators for prostitues […] and night clubs . Unfortunately as well I left a very nice and personal Loccitane body wash which i just bought from UK and my zara shoes in the room. Less than 12 hours when i find out and I return immediately and they said they couldn't find them. and the room was already occupied. And because of that experience I wouldn't recommend this hotel. My second trip to Prague in two weeks and I returned to the same hotel as it was so good! Last trip I stayed on the fifth floor, but this time my room was on the sixth floor and there were a few differences. The room was pretty much the same, but little extras were appreciated - L'Occitane toiletries (always a plus), a fresh fruit platter on arrival, […] slippers, etc. A great hotel in a good location - I would happily return there again. This hotel is nowhere near 5 star hotel. The walls are falling apart. The bathrooms are not as good as displayed on the photos, rooms tiny and smelly. Suroundings of the hotel are not very nice ones either. Very old TV in the rooms.

Lovely hotel just off Wenceslas Square, ideal location for shopping and sight-seeing (the Mucha Museum was directly opposite), everything is within walking distance. Our room was spacious and very clean (great marble bathroom!), decor and service was as you would expect for a British 4 star hotel, although Hotel Palace Praha can boast a Michelin star […] restaurant! There was a good breakfast selection. The only downside to the hotel was that the air conditioning was weak as other people have also commented upon in their reviews. I recently took my wife away for her 40th and booked Hotel Palace Praha for a four night stay through Expedia.ie. I have to say that this hotel was very nice and staff were friendly. The hotel mini bar in room had a good selection and prices were reasonable, considering what you would pay in hotels at home. Close to the city centre and very easy to […] find. The breakfast on the other hand was a little dissapointing as there was not a great selection of hot food, but it was nice. Many pluses to this hotel: location, architecture, room size, modern bathroom. Negatives: window blind was broken and I couldn't raise it to see the morning sun, tv remote control had every single button worn out - how do you know what is what? Most annoying of all - on both mornings I heard a very slight knock at my door, no announcement (i.e. 'Housekeeping!'), […] and someone came in only to find find I was still present/in-bed (I could not see the person/door from the bed). They quickly exited. I have to presume it was maid service though both times this occured before 8:30am! In hindsight I should have made a bigger deal of this with hotel management. Devamı

This was a WONDERFUL hotel in a perfect location for the best sites of central Prague. The breakfast buffet, in large, original art deco space, was simply unbelievable with faultless service. Air-conditioning in the room could have been cooler, but as the weather wasn't too hot when we were there, it wasn't really a problem. Dinner one night in the […] hotel was a bit pricey, particularly the wines, but well worth it as it was the best meal we had in the seven nights we were there, going to proper restaurants. Great place for a special meal or romantic evening; grand piano background; dark old-world Turn-of-the-Century art deco elegance, very attentive and friendly staff in formal attire. The bathroom, genuine marble, was beautiful, well-equipped and light. The standard of cleanliness everywhere was outstanding. another reviewer suggested that there was only one English station on the television, but that was not true -- there were at leave five or six. The minibar was well-stocked, and probably no dearer than other hotel minibars; the coffee/tea facility in the room worked well with a wide range of hot drinks that could be made in the room. It was a very spacious room -- one of the "deluxe" (twin) rooms, but I think "deluxe" was the normal room for this hotel. Excellent dinner service at the hotel restaurant. Frindly staff. Excellent location. The room is nice and clean. The only comment is about the TV and the remote control. They were outdated. Contrary to indication, this is a non-smoking hotel. Other than that inconvenience for me, it was a superior experience in every way. I can't recommend this superior hotel too highly. Beautiful architecturally, great central location but on a quiet street, first-class service.

Excellent hotel in a good location for old town square. Was upgraded to a junior suite which was an amazing room with great views and ammenities. Only issue was the air conditioning in the room was very poor and only blew in warm air on its coldest setting. When requested to fix the system, was told that there was nothing wrong with the air conditioning, […] its just inadequate. Fridge in room also wasnt working, but was replaced within 12 hours. Finally breakfast was excellent, except soft boiled eggs were raw on second day, not something you would expect from a 5* hotel. Oh and also, not wireless in rooms which is pretty bad in today's internet reliant world! Overall, great experience, lovely room, excellent location, would potentially come back. Devamı

The hotel is near some sites and very close to the Banhof. But it is far from the town center, about a 15 minute walk. There are some good sites near by, such as the Mucha Museum. My only critism of hotel was the air conditioning. It was on but it didn't make any difference to temp of room I was too hot. The hotel was ideally situated for shopping and only about 10 mins from main tourist area. I was really very pleasantly surprised. I've stayed at lots of hotels in Prague -- including the Four Seasons and the Mandarin Oriental -- and I really liked the Palace Praha. While not as elegant as the Four Seasons or Mandarin, it's very nice hotel with excellent amenities and a fantastic bargain at the price we paid. Staff were wonderful and very helpful. The complimentary breakfast buffet had a nice array of items from which to choose. The location was great; near the A Line and next to Winceslas Square. The beds were a bit hard and rather small but not bad. Wasn't a huge fan of the shower since the glass door only went about half way over, so some of the bathroom […] floor would inevitably get wet. I really enjoyed my stay. The room was kept very clean and it was comfortable and an excellent base for exploring Prague. The breakfast buffet had a good selection and the poached eggs were excellent. I wasn't keen on the boiled and scrambled eggs though but it's good that they cater for a number of nationalities. The room was quiet but on the Saturday […] night until just after 12am there must have been a nightclub or bar nearby and there was extremely loud terrible dance music. It didn't go on through the night but I was a little surprised. On the Sunday we were out all day but when we came back at about 5pm our room was only being cleaned. I just thought it was a bit late and it wasn't the turn down service which seemed to be done not much later than 5pm. Everything else was great about this hotel and I would recommend it to friends. Really nice hotel - great rooms, very clean and well kept. Good service, good food. Great location for sights. Very good value on hotels.com. When my scheduled ride to the airport did not show up due to a mix up, the front desk immediately helped me with alternative plans. They were really wonderful and everything worked out just fine. I have been here […] twice and will return again. If you are traveling from elsewhere and coming in by train, it is an easy walk to this hotel. The Palace hotel was a great base for a weekend in Prague. Our standard room was huge, really clean and nicely decorated. We found it a little unusual that our double bed had two single quilts on it but I guess thats a small issue! Staff very helpful - receptionist researched and advised on flea markets in Prague area. Only downside was that room was too hot and reception could do nothing to adjust air conditioning - something to do with temperature outside being too low for air conditioning to kick in.

HPP is situated not five minutes from Old Town, but far enough to be quiet at night and not overwhelmed by tourists during day hours. There is a metro station less than two minutes from the front door, and the central post office is across the street. Hotel staff was friendly and able to point out desired destinations on a map. Booked hotel based on it being a 5 star hotel. Only good thing is location. Rooms very small and look nothing like photos on web site. Service was terrible and nothing was consistant. Booked executive room so you choice of view is innercourtyard facing garbage or street view facing dorm with loud students. Hotel should be a 3 1/2 star rating

This is a beautiful hotel, with very courteous and helpful staff. The location is ideal for touring--you can walk everywhere--yet its being on a side street makes for a less hectic feel during the day and quiet at night (and a good night's sleep).

I really enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Palace Praha. The staff was very friendly and welcoming when I arrived. I was also very surprised by how spacious my room was given that European hotel rooms are typically very small. The bathroom was quite large and had a great tub for soaking after a long day touring. The location was excellent as well and was […] easy walking distance to the center of town. The only minus was that the breakfast wasn't very appealing. Although the food was kept in chafing dishes, the eggs were cold as were other items that should have been hot. I visit Prague quite often and have stayed in several different hotels and apartment hotels and this is one of the best I have used, with bags of charm and character. The deal I got through Expedia meant I had a deluxe room for the same price I have paid for a standard room in a lower grade establishment and it was really very comfortable and clean. […] Bathrooms are my big thing and can make or break a room for me, and the one at the Palace was beautiful. Lovely big vanity unit and bathtub with a a fantastic, very powerful shower, and the whole thing was all marble and tile, with lovely soft towels. The public areas were excellent and very inviting and the breakfast buffet had every conceivable food you could want, be it a light, continental style breakfast or a full English style breakfast. Czech service staff can sometimes be a little surly and dour, but I found the staff at the Palace to be very amenable and helpful and I could not fault the service. The receptionist went to great lengths to find a restaurant that I had to get to on the other side of the river which I had forgotten the name of and organised my cab for me. The only downside was that the room was very hot, but I have found this to be a common problem in Prague hotels, and the climate control was easy to use and solved the problem very efficiently. All in all, the Palace very much enhanced my enjoyment of my stay in Prague and I would definitely stay there again if I can get such a good deal. Devamı

we stayed in the hotel from the 26-29th February 2012, the staff were polite , helpful and all spoke very good English, we were given an upgrade to our room on arrival for 20 euro s. a night. The room was spotless very comfortable and had tea and coffee freely available. , the room was a bit warm for my liking but not my husbands! There is a good choice […] of food available at breakfast from a full cooked choice of eggs , fish , sausages etc. to continental meats and cheeses plus the usual cereal fruit and yoghurt . We had a meal at the hotel restaurant which was delicious although obviously hotel prices. I would recommend this hotel for a short break , it is near the centre of Prague and we were able to walk to all the local tourist sites easily, or get a tram or use the metro. Devamı

Great hotelli with good location. Staff was helpful and breakfast rich except coffee, I prefer coffeepots with strong coffee... Other small minus point was taken when rooms where without wireless internet connections, cable connection is not suitable with tablets!

This is not a 5 star hotel, the barman 'micorwaved' a late night snack for me that was simply inedible then charge me something like £40 for the privalege, his excuse was he's a barman not a cook (this is supposed to be a 5 start hotel not a 2 man b&b). When I got onto the floor where my bedroom was it was like a sauna and my room was unbearably hot […] even after I'd turned the radiator off. I had to try and sleep with the windo open (noisy and drafty given it was December) to get the temp down. On my second and thankfully final night there was a power interuption at 1am for 2 hours and my lights and TV made where coming on and off whislt the diesel gen sets tried to cope with the modest demand. brekfast was ok. Whilst the hotel is down a side street (with various lots of building work currently under way), it does not detract at all from being a great hotel to base your stay in Prague. The rooms are a very good size, comfortable and clean, and overall it was a nice, quiet and pleasant place. The breakfast buffet is more than adequate, providing a good variation […] for all the family to stock up for the day.The only thing that needed attention was the rooms' air conditioning that didn't seem to be working, so was a liitle warm. Whilst the windows are double glazed, the sound from a party does reach the lower floors (we were on floor 3), but again, didn't detract from being a good place to stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel location is very good, being very central and an easy walk to most places. There are many restaurants near the hotel, and one that was good and good value was 'Restaurace 22', just around the corner on Jindřišská (better to go downstairs to the main seating area rather than in the bar area at ground level). The other good place, albeit non-Czech, is Pizzerie Grosseto, a floating restaurant moored next to Manesuv most (the bridge between the Charles and Czech bridges), which has a great view up to Prague Castle (ask for a river side table). The Hotel Palace Praha is in a very good location for getting to all the main attractions whilst being tucked away from the busy streets and squares. The service and standard of the hotel justifies it's star rating. The staff were personal and very accomodating making our stay one to remember. This was a perfect break for a special occasion.

This is a very nice and well-run hotel; the staff are helpful and invariably friendly, the rooms spacious, clean and convenient. Standards are high. Breakfast is outstanding. The bathrooms are all marble, with new fittings, and in good order. It has a nice feel to it, and is a very pleasant oasis to return to after a day of walking around the City. […] The beds are unusually hard, as a previous reviewer noted, but this did not bother me.
