Grand Hotel Suisse Majestic - Montrö

My 24 hours in this hotel were some of the most satisfying hours of my life. Starring out over lake Geneva into the snow covered mountains was just amazing.

Next by the rail station. Beautiful view. Excellent - but expensive food - in the restaturant. The bar, next to the restaurant, is very good - and has the same view. Be sure to get a room with a sea view, it is worth the extra money - which I did not pay. Very nice long promenade next to the lake, just below the hotel. The room I got was quit standard […] and small - but then again I payed a very low price compared to the standard rates. No balcony. If I go back I would pay the extra to get a room with view/balcony. The receptionists were friendly, there is a nice coffee shop just beside the hotel. The breakfast was a bit disappointing. Devamı

The only caveat to travelers is that there is no hotel parking or any parking validation for use of the public garage. Parking will run about 30CHF/day.

Very good hotel but 2 major drawbacks: Airconditioning did not work. It is a non smoking hotel, but somebody must have smoked nearby my room because there was a terrible smell of smoke all night long. I mentioned that to the staff but they just said, sorry we cannot do anything about that?

A few steps from the railway station at Montreux, the Suisse Majestic is really a 5* hotel - be sure to book a room with a terrace overlooking the lake, unsurpassed views.

I stayed 3 nights in Grand Hotel Suisse Majestic, I arrived through the train station and was delighted to know the hotel is just in front of me. The room was big, clean and with a lake view. The staff were very kind and supportive. I really loved Montreux and would definitely comeback someday and stay in the same hotel.

Travelling on the trains made this the perfect hotel.The new renovations were well worth the money. Sitting in the wicker furniture on our balcony overlooking the lake made it the perfect spot for wine at the end of the day. very helpful staff.

Perfect location...just next to main train station... We got beautiful lake view room. Amazing lake walk behind the hotel, across the street. Lots of activities near by. Definitely will book again if I am going back to Montreux. Only thing problematic is breakfast is not included and it is 33 CHF per person which is very expensive. Great location, just across the road from the train station. Great hotel staff whom let us view a choice of rooms before we decided which room to take. Got the lakeview room which commands a superb view of Lake Geneva. Easily accesible to/fro anywhere with train and bus stops close by. Plenty of dining options nearby. The hotel was comfortable, hip and reasonable. We would stay there again The hotel resteraunt was overpriced and the food was unremarkable.

Quality great, complete renovation. Rooms overlooking street terible, rooms need to be sealed as Station opposite and street and car noise. Lake view superb and quite, a picture card of the mountains and lake - a dream hotel with incredible lunch and dinner chef. Breakfast needs smartning up to a five star. Swift efficient service. Good class and standard all round. Room had all wood floors and I would have liked a rug or two but the bathroom was modern and bright. Excellent position in Montreux. Fabulous views over the mountains and lake from the dining-room. Would definitely stay there again.

Das Hotel befindet sich an sehr zentraler Lage, direkt neben dem Bahnhof. Das Zentrum und der See ist mit einigen Schritten erreichbar. Die Bar und das Restaurant haben wunderbare Aussicht auf den See. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und sehr gut eingerichtet.

Je suis satisfaite de mon séjour au Majestic! Facile à retrouver et accueil chaleureux! La chambre était propre,bien tenue avec une vue magnifique sur le lac Leman! Je reviendrai volontiers et le recommanderai!

J'ia passé un excellent week-end, tout était bien organisé et la chambre avec vue sur le lac, fantastique. Bien mangé. U petit bémol au niveau de l'ascenceur : l'attente est longue et souvent on se balade d'étage en étage avant d'arriver au bon.

Juna asema vastapäätä, rantaan 50 metriä, 200 metriä Freddie Mercuryn patsaalle, 200 metriä Smoke on the water muistomerkille. Keskellä kaikkea!

Lage, Zimmer und Service sind perfekt. Ich werde bei meinem nächsten Montreux Besuch wieder dieses Hotel buchen

하룻밤이지만 돈이 아깝지 않았던 호텔. 기차역하고 붙어있다고 표현하면 될듯. 너무 편리하고 좋았습니다!

Tres beau 4 etoile vue magnifique chambre 401 avec balcon (attention caisse parpin et palette en vue a gauche sur le toit pas terrible ) Simon vue du lac et empacement exceptionelle terrasse bar et restaurant immense .la baignoire est un peu petite pas de chausson dommage petit detail important. Surtout pour allez sur le balcon .pour terminer le parking […] aucun arrangement avec l hotel parking de la gare pour une nuit en arrivant a midi presque 40f sinon pour une nuit une court week end a montreux hotel ideal et quel vue sur le lac une des plus belle vue merci pour Bette offre Devamı

Hinter dem Haus der Bahnhof, fast davor die Schiffstation, von wo aus man im 15 Min. beim Schloss Chillon ist. Hervorragendes Restaurant, tolle Terrasse. Zimmer nach vorne lohnt sich unbedingt. Schöner alter Bau, gut renoviert. Wir sind begeistert.

Wir haben das Hotel kurzfristig gebucht und hatten das Glück noch ein Zimmer mit Seesicht zu bekommen. Das Wetter war perfekt und auch das abendliche Essen auf der Terasse des Restaurant. Einziger Wermutstropfen war der etwas laute und immer wieder gleiche Sound von der im Hotel gelegenen Bar (Saxofonspieler mit DJ). Ansonsten perfekte Ambiance und […] gepflegtes Umfeld. 3泊を泊まった。モントレー駅から30秒、レマン湖から30秒という絶好なロケーション！更に、徒歩１分にCOOPのミニスーパーや駅のコンビニもある。私はデラックスレークビューの部屋を利用した。事前想像より、部屋が広くて綺麗、暖炉もある！また、パルコニーからの景色は素晴らしくて、広々にラタンの椅子とテーブルも置かれて、のんびりにゆったりな時間を過ごすことができたわ。自分の場合、ホテルの朝食レストランも試したが（景色・味ともに悪くない）、それより、朝一にCOOPに行き、店先で焼きあがった熱々のクロワッサン、新鮮な生ジュース、ハム、ヨーグルトなど色々と買ってきて、バルコニーでの朝食を楽しんでいた。　また、ホテルと同じ建物に小さなレンタカー屋さんもあり、モントレーをベースに、ション城、エビアン、ジェネバ […] 、 ロサンヌーなど、2日間を掛けて、車でレマン湖を周遊した。 ちなみに、サービスに少しいい加減なところがある。例えば、突然に部屋にエキストラベッドが現れ、もちろん、ホテルが部屋番号を間違っていたため。また、チェックアウト時に使っていないミニバーの料金を請求され、違うと言ったら、すぐに「０」にしたような小騒動もあった。 それにしても、レマン湖観光なら、モントレーをベースにすることをお勧め、その際に、このホテルもお勧め。 Devamı
