The hotel was a little out of the way but once i found it i was extremely pleased.The room was more than i expected with new furnishings and fixtures that you would have at home rather than in a hotel room. the hotel was extremely quiet and the black out curtains were fantastic for a great nights sleep.

Rooms and beds were clean and lovely - nice room although windo frames look like they could do with sprucing up a bit. The staff were very helpful although I arrived at 2pm and couldn't check in til 3pm as room was not ready. Didn't pay for breakfast in advance as they wanted to charge £30 (for one adult and 1 child!) but you could get full breakfast […] in Plus Fours Lounge for £8.50. This was booked last minute for a relaxing weekend. We were greated by helpful friendly staff, offered help with bags even though we were travelling light, The room was comfy and spacious, only critism is that additional pillows are not in the room, you must call reception. And the extractor fan was full of dust. Unfortuntely the sounds from the corridor […] could easily be heard in the room, unfortunate for us as there were young children next door. The rest of the hotel was clean and well maintained. We made use of the spa facilities during our stay as this was included in price. I found the swimming pool too cold and steam room not steamy enough. These are not complaints, just points that need tweaking. I enjoyed the stay and would return again. Devamı

Great attentive service. High quality of food. Beds offer an alternative of bed duvets although not taken up. Beds kingsize. Rooms adequate size. Best of all windows actually open to adequate size without any silly stories from reception that accidents had occurred only weeks before as a reason to prevent windows opening! This was a great place to stag for our small family of 3. Our 3 year old really liked it and it is 15 minutes from Paulton Park (Pepper pig world), which is equally good. Only downside on the hotel was the cost of breakfast. The cost for adults was around £15 each for breakfast. However we only have small breakfasts. So I chose to drive to the local […] Costa Coffee each morning as we could do breakfast for under £10 total. This was an inconvenience because I would have been happier rolling out of bed and going to breakfast in the hotel. But I thought £15 for a bowl of cereal and piece of toast was excessive. very helpful staff. location wise this was great for me as I was working in Hamble. Id imagine they also do very well on weddings. The food was great, breakfast even better with a large buffet plus full english breakfast. Ill use this hotel more often.

We visited the hotel with our 5 month old baby, with this being a golf and leisure hotel we were wary of how we would be treated. The staff accommodated us whenever possible and gave the impression nothing was an inconvenience. The restaurant and leisure suite were excellent. Thoroughly recommend.

It is most unusual that I would say this but everything about the hotel was great, as above. In addition, the food in the restaurant and in the bar was delicious! The only problem was that I could get no phone (Orange) signal in the hotel but this was not their fault!

Staff were very helpful and attentive. Our room was warm and cosy but unfortunately our sleep was disturbed by the door to the next corridor ( which was outside our room) being open and shut throughout the night, it also squeaked annoyingly, ear plugs helped on the 2nd night! The spa was relaxing on the first day as we were only sharing it with one […] other couple, the 2nd day we didn't use it as it was full of screaming children, jumping and splashing into the pool. The pool was very small, the sauna and steam room were good. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere with the staff being very attentive. Unfortunately it was very expensive and we could only afford to eat there on our first night. Had we seen the prices before we sat down we would have gone elsewhere. There were some really lovely gastro pubs in the local area and we ate at the Robin Hood which was just down the road. Very reasonably priced and delicious food. This hotel does hold seminars and weddings, so may not be the best place for a quiet break, which is the reason we booked it! Devamı

The hotel is very comfortable but the food is extremely expensive and not really worth its cost. The food in the sports bar is average at best. Food quality and cost aside the hotel is in a lovely setting and the rooms are very nicely presented.

I stay in 5 star hotels through work all the time. This stay was for me and my partner on a budget. This is a busy hotel, (it is a hotel after all). The staff were excellent from "Emma" on the reception who got our room ready early to the very mannerly breakfast staff. The breakfast was also excellent. The room was clean with no issues. Ok looking at […] the corridors you can see it is a little tired. There was a large wedding party of mainly youngsters with all the usual issues. As I was sat in reception waiting for my room I observed the staff deal with them very well indeed. This is not five star but I have no complaints at all, highly recommended. Devamı

Reception staff are very welcoming and friendly. Food in restaurant is exceptional although initial welcome in restaurant was not very cold and unwelcoming. Breakfast selection and service as very good.

If you want to have a relaxing time - find somewhere else, this hotel is a wedding mill. In the 2 days there we saw at least half a dozen weddings.The common areas in the hotel are worn and not attractive. There are other smaller hotels in the area that check all the boxes - make a google search.One good point was the food - this was 5*

We have used this hotel on our return from the cruise. Main reason fro choosing this hotel was to relax for a couple of days outside the city and use spa and golf. Anybody thinking of staying in this hotel needs to keep in mind that to get most put of it they need a car. Otherwise, it is possible to use taxi to go places or a train. The Spa sort of […] has its own life separate fro the hotel. During 3 days of our stay it was fully booked, even so the hotel did not seem to be that busy. The Golf course is vey nice but also very busy. It is worse to note that the hotel has no lift, the help with luggage is given. It has not climate control in a room, only heating, so if it gets worm the only solution is an open window. Breakfast was OK, typical British breakfast, nothing fancy, food in a bar was also OK but a bit expensive. The best solution would be to eat out, but it needs a car. It is possible to rent a car from the hotel, we did not try it though. The room was good, good size with a very comfortable big bad and good pillows. Devamı

This was a wonderful hotel, in a beautiful location. The only minus if you have a lot of luggage is that there are no elevators. Highly recommend this as a stay if you have business in Southampton. Very nice hotel and location. Very easy procedure for check in and check out. Staff disponible for all requests and good possibilities for golf (also for beginners as it was my case). A beautifull stay for holidays....
