Alpha-Palmiers Hotel - Lozan

This hotel tends to cater to business clientel. It was very nice, but a bit too sterile. The T.V. in our room had been added as an after thought and was on what should have been a reading table. It made it so that you could not get from one side of the bed and out unless you laid down and swung your legs over. Very difficult if you needed to get out […] of bed in the middle of the night. The bathrooms were very large with bath and shower, but was a glass enclosure so when the light went on it also went bright in the bedroom, not good if one of you wants to sleep in. The restaurant was quite expensive and our waiter did not speak any English which I found strange for Switzerland. Not many other nice restaurants in the area. Hotel is 500 yds from the Train Station, but it is straight uphill, about a 40 degree uphill on cobblestones. A real problem if you have a lot of luggage. Not accessible by cab because they have to go all the way around town to get to the top and then come downhill. Very expensive. Hotel is in between tram stations, so you either walk up the hill from the bottom and take a tram up to the next station and walk down to your hote. Probably would have been easier to stay higher up the hill and be closer to old town. Trip to the sea is easy and that is where the Olympic museum is but it is closed due to construction and no word on how long that is going to take. Devamı

The hotel was just what we needed, a comfy place to stay in the center of town. The room was well appointed and spacious. The only down side was that you could hear everything from the street - maybe because our room was facing the lake (great view of that by the way), some of the other rooms faces into a courtyard.

Conveniently located close to Railway and Metro. Nice lobby and restaurant area. Layout not conventional but interesting. Somewhat noisy from bars around after closing houres (weekend).

An impromtu visit to Lausanne started off fabulous. Hotel is literally about 50 yards from the front of the train station atop a cobble stone road. Welcoming fireplaces and warm candle lit ambiance from couple restaurants inside hotel made winter visit worth the trip! Just outside of the hotel, you will find a bistro, wine bar (excellent!), kebabs, […] McDonald's and just about a worldly variety of food at your door steps. If you're planning to spend some time at the gym/"spa" it will be a bit disappointing. Equipment is outdated and the treadmill was out of order and outdated. We needed a place for a couple of nights in Lausanne while we were there visiting friends. The hotel is across the street and up the hill from the train station (very convenient) and the room was modern and clean. You need a key to use the elevators so I would think the hotel to be somewhat safe also. The rates were good but in Switzerland you get a […] tourism tax added on to your bill when you leave. Amazing staff, so helpfull and the hotel was very clean and comfortable beds. The train and bus passes were great and the main town just a couple of minutes away, be warned the hills are steep with cobbles, so good shoes are a must.

Personnel at the front desk was nothing short of amazing! Great service!

Great location a short walk from the train station.

Across from the cinema, on a pedestrian street, near the centre...very happy with this hotel, though parking is a drag! They should provide vouchers or discounts.

After arriving at the hotel we parked in the recommended parking at a cost of 40 swiss per night, we wasn't told about this cost nor is it displayed. The hotel corridors smelt and non of the rooms have nice view as they face each other. Our room was disabled friendly,with a roll in shower, although the pressure to the shower was turned down to a trickle […] because the room despite looking like a complete wet room must not have been fully water proofed. The bed was also very uncomfortable. We stayed here 3 nights but on the second night noticed that there was blood on the mattress. The hotel is located on a very steep cobbles street, fortunately I use an electric wheelchair. Devamı

The room was big and Had a mini bar which i appreciate, Beds comfy but pillows not so. Parking is seperate and was 39 CHF for 20 hours but was next door . Breakfast was expensive 25 CHF and there was a good choice but quality was not great. Reception staff good, Location near station is good . I would give a 6 out of 10 rating

The hotel is only 1 minute uphill walk from the main station. The location is very strategic as it is also very close to the city centre. It has a rooftop that links to the Place St Francois so you can avoid walking up the hill to go to the centre ville. The deco of the hotel and the room is modern and nice. There are two restaurants that serve Thai […] and French food. The gym and spa area is nice, although i think the treadmill is not in good working condition and should be replaced with a better one. My son and I had one night at the Alpha-Palmiers Hotel. We chose it because it was close to the main rail station. There is s very steep incline to reach the hotel. Once there it is very modern, clean and staff are helpful. They gave us free tickets to use the Metro which allowed us to get to see the beautiful Lac Lehman. Ich fand den Aufenthalt wirklich super. Das Einzige was ich bemängeln muss ist der Kommentar einer deutschen Rezeptionistin. Als wir sie beim Check-in um ca. 16.00 Uhr fragten, ob wir die Taxen auch auf die Firmenadresse buchen können, meinte sie nur, dass wir diesen Betrag noch verkraften könnten. Muy bien, el hotel no parece mucho desde el exteriro pero una vez dentro, te llevas una excelente impresión. El staff fue muy servicial y atento. Como latinos, valoramos mucho encontrar personal de habla hispana.

Tres bien situé au centre et pourtant tres calme, les chambers sont tres belles, grandes et claires. Seul bemol le lit double est en realite deux lits acollé ! Je conseil leur resto Thai qui est exelent ! Prenez la chambre cote Jardin pour ceux qui n ont pas l habitude des bruits de "ville" .. On y retournera !

Ich war überrascht über sehr kühle/kalte Begrussung am Empfang. Was absolut unakzeptabel ist für so ein **** Hotel, sind die Betten. Die Zwei Separaten Einzel Betten, die ich beim reservierung gewünscht habe, erwiesen sich als zwei sehhhr einfachen "Pritschen", die Benutzt man normalerweise als 3. Bett Ersatz. Très bon hôtel et service très aimable. Toutefois, j'ai dû changer deux fois de chambre. La première fois en raison d'une chambre simple au lieu d'une double et la deuxième en raison d'odeur de cigarette et d'une taie d'oreiller sale. Ces changements ont été effectués rapidement et sans discussion. Autre petit point négatif, le radiateur un peu bruyant […] la nuit. Les chambres sont très vastes et bien équipées. J'aurais toutefois préféré une douche en lieu et place de la baignoire... Très bon rapport qualité/prix si l'on ommet le prix du petit-déjeuner à CHF 25.- (!) Devamı

Hôtel agréable, chambre confortable et bien entretenue. Un peu bruyant de part sa situation. Manque d'insonorisation des chambres.

Un bon hôtel comme on pourrait trouver à côté d'un aéroport, mais situé au coeur de Lausanne. Confort de bon niveau mais sans luxe, ni charme. Petit déjeuner buffet correct mais sans plus. Café "americain", croissant mous, fruits frais en cubes... Architecture contemporaine sans style, ni talent. Отличное расположение отеля - рядом с вокзалом и старой частью города. Хороший отель, чистые номера, Завтрак не включен в стоимость проживания. Номера просторные и удобные. Нестандартное решение ванной комнаты.

Sehr schönes Hotel in ruhiger, zentraler Lage. Die Zimmer sind modern eingerichtet und das Badezimmer im Superior-Zimmer schön gross. Leider war das Doppelbett aus 2 Einzelbetten zusammengestellt. Für Paare nicht ideal.

Mycket bra hotell, speciellt när vi valt den lite större versionen av dubbelrum som är vänt in mot den ovala trädgården. Man kunde sitta och slappa med dörren öppen, lyssna på porlandet och dricka en kopp kaffe som man kokat själv. Det enda dåliga var duschmunstycket och att det saknades en hylla att ställa resväskan på.

Das Hotel ist schick und designorientiert, aber bitte bei der Buchung folgendes beachten: - die Zimmer raus zur Fußgängerzone sind zum schlafen nicht geeignet, da sehr dünne Fenster. Gröhlende Menschen die komplette Nacht (SA auf SO) rauben einem den Schlaf. - es gibt Zimmer OHNE Türe zum Bad/Klo. Ein perfektes Geruchserlebnis, wer's mag... - das Parken […] im Parkhaus kostet 40 chf die Nacht!!! - Personal am Empfang war sehr hektisch, das Personal beim Frühstück etwas unmotiviert. Falls man das 'richtige' Zimmer erwischt, sicherlich ein brauchbares Hotel, für 4 Sterne auch recht preiswert. Devamı

Die Zimmer auf die Rue du Petit-Chêne sind lärmig. (Innenhof: Sehr gut.) Frühstück: Preis-Leistung stimmt nicht. Kaffee-Qualität schlecht. Service: Sozusagen inexistent. Man muss evtl. den Tisch selbst abräumen oder warten. Eine Person genügt eben nicht. Das Hotel scheint auf Paket-Tourismus ausgerichtet zu sein. Dennoch: Empfehlen swert.
