This hotel is easy to find and easy to reach with bus A11. The hotel is located near the Times Square and can be reached within minutes by walking. The location is superb! There are restaurant nearby and a market that you can grab some fresh fruits by day/night. The hotel service is great, but the room is just so so. A fantastic hotel near to the wan chai area but not too near to the main drag which is why i liked it would definitely go back there!

We stayed 6 nights here. The location is good, just a few minutes walk to Times Square and the staff are helpful and polite. Room is small but has all the necessary amenities.

I regret staying in South Pacific, as the staffs wasn't friendly and our rooms are very bare and old. Price is too much for this quality. very disappointed. TV is extremely small. My stay wasn't comfortable at all.

plenty to do in wan cha and easy access for all on Hong Kong Island

Right between Wan Chai and Causeway Bay. Loved the location. Was a small room which is expected, but comfy enough and the service was great Very affordable price. Again, location, location, location. Not so close to Central, but you can walk 5-10 mins to either train station and take it to Central. Or if you love walking like me...30 mins tops. Like […] this side much better than Kowloon. I have no problems with the staff or hotel except that the room is totally too small. I cant even close the toilet door and have to step over the toilet bowl so that the door can swing shut. Absolutely cramped place. I think the management should consider installing those bi-fold doors on this mini toilet to get over this problem. Perfectly good hotel - situated close to atmospheric streets / happy valley race course / Causeway bay / Times Square. Tram just down road to get to Central etc. Room was quite small with small twin beds which a larger person might struggle with. stayed for 9 nights late Feb. nice hotel, a little small avoid queen bedroom, REALLY !! small bathroom, stick with twin bed and push beds together, much nicer shower( walk-in ) and slightly bigger room. it's not like you are in your room that much anyways, 5-10 min walk to Causeway Bay shopping, and lots of places to eat ( my exp. as a Canadian, avoid […] eating western style food.....poor quality, stick to chinese....very good!!, great dim sum in area and smaller restaurants have cheaper beer $16 hgd per 1 ltr bottle or lower, expect to pay around $60/ small bottle in some bars Devamı

Overall, I was quite satisfied with the hotel. Walking distance to times square, clean and up to date. Bed was a little hard, but ok. Service at the restaurant was not that good, they didnt pay enough attention to the customers, but food was good.

the pics on their site do not look like the room I stayed in. actual room was very small, older, and needed renovation to bring it up to the 90's. staff was friendly and helpful when asked for assistance.

Very helpful staff, nice room size and close to the Times Square shopping mall, this hotel is really nice for the price. They also have a very nice business center at the top floor, great views over the Happy Valley race track. I enjoyed my stay and will go back there on my next Hong Kong trip.

The room is small, and it's a bit expensive, but not out of the norm for Hong Kong. The location was good, close to a lot of tourist areas, but also not too in the middle of it all. Everything was walking distance and the cab drivers all seemed to know where it was. So it was easy to get to and from. I spent 2 night at the South Pacific Hotel. It was a very nice place. Staff was helpful. The room was small but most rooms in Hong Kong are small.

Right near the tram and bus line, close to the MTR this hotel was friendly, and well kept. Reception was good, service could not be faulted. I was most impressed by the heated toilet seat and 'squirter' built in!! As a tourist base it was a great place to travel from, with the Wan Chai entertainment strip in close proximity and public transport very […] close at hand. Only negitive comments were those for all hotels in HK - a hard bed and a small room, but as a lone business traveller these are not a problem. Devamı

Room was indeed on the small side, but perfect for me. Had all the amenities I needed and the bed was comfortable.

Good location and easy access to eating places, and causeway bay MTR.

The area surrounding the South Pacific hotel pulses with a steady beat.. The hotel rates high for prompt and polite service and assistance when required....the shopping varies from Times Square High rise mall to the famous Sogos..Catch the MTR right in Times square, choose a restaurant from the local guide or eat in the Hotel, Everthing is near to the […] Hotel as well.. Rooms are standard HK size but quiet, clean and ours was just renovated.. If you have a walking GPS then this can be handy as the area is crowded with busy people. Check out the back alley shops that sell everything from fresh fish to ribbons and bows. Check out the breakfast buffet... We will stay there again... Devamı

It's nice to stay at. Good location. Good local restaurants just near.

Room carpet dirty. Bellmen could not tell me how to use the tram to where I wanted to go, thought it runs infront of the place. I wanted to purcase an Octpus card to go to Wan Chi station ad the girl told me I could buy one in Wan Chi station? She obviously needs more training!! Located near the shopping of Time Square, this is a nice hotel, but with small rooms, decent breakfast buffet and helpful staff.

The standard room is horrible. The bathroom tiles has moles and dirt. The carpets are stained and the desk/chair/bed is very worned down. I will not stay at this hotel anymore even though the hotel location is very good.

The hotel is located within walking distance to cheap as well as big local restaurants. Hotel room is clean, small compared to USA or European hotels but bigger than most Hong Kong hotels that I have stayed in. Rooms with a good view, those which can see road intersection, are rather noisy especially at night when sound is more distinct. Suggest request […] for quiet rooms even though view is of small lanes.Buses to airport available runs once every hour but cost a bit more. Devamı

Good location but quite a distance from MTR station. Very close to many restaurant and markets. Can walk to Time Square easily. Not suggested for elder people who cannot walk well.

The hotel must up to date. All the things in room is out of date, very old and the room space is very small and lighting is too dark.The bath tube wall is full of dirty.

A small and clean hotel close to Time Square in Causeway Bay. Hotel is clean but bathroom is a bit small. Price is good for its location.

The hotel is very clean and nice though the room is small as we booked the Standard Room type. Anyway, heard from friends that most hotel rooms in Hong Kong are small. Hotel staff are friendly and efficient and my stay was pleasurable as the hotel is easily accessible to a lot of interesting places.

Great location, functional room, and good functional service. My only complaint: I asked the front desk if the airport had Express Check-in at Hong Kong Central Station, and they told me no. There was Express Check-in, and I'm glad we didn't take the concierge's word for it.

this is our 3rd stay at the south pacific and we had booked 4 rooms for 4 nights. One of the rooms was terribly tiny and we asked for a change of room. While the service staff did not seem too pleased abt our request for change of room, we did get a bigger room the next day. The Location is really convenient as it is a short 5-10 min walk to the causeway […] bay MTR station. To get to the MTR, one can walk along the main street or via the bustling local wet market ,which I find, is an interesting and fun way to see local hongkongers haggling over their daily marketing purchases. Very local experience indeed. Plus the bonus discovery this time around is a gem of a very local seafood place, just at the back alley of the hotel, which is packed with locals and those in the know... we also discovered a nondescript egg tart bakery nearby, along the local wet mkt , which sells delicious melt in your mouth 'dan-tart'! This hotel offers good value and while its surroundings may be somewhat gritty, it certainly offers a local flavour, in every sense. Finally we are also very pleased and thankful that this hotel made a gracious exception to allow us to make other last minute changes regarding the rooms. Devamı
