We've used this hotel twice and will be happy to come back. Nice, big rooms, great service and a free wifi that works well. Only drawback is that the video on demand service (that we used last year) was gone this year ...

The location is excellent , also the breakfast was nice , I want to say thank you to the reception and all of the team for their kindly service .

Travelling from South Africa with 2 young children, the Mercure could not have been more conveniently located. We walked out of the Hauptbahnhof, down the street and into the hotel under 5 minutes! The staff throughout were very friendly, we were pleasantly surprised at the size of the room and bathroom and the finer touch of a chocolate on your pillow […] and "on the house" welcoming drinks certainly made us feel special. The breakfasts were excellent and the easy access to the sights was most convenient. All in all - I highly recommend this hotel to anyone and would without hesitation stay there again should the opportunity arise. well done Mercure! Devamı

A most pleasant and comfortable hotel. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. The front desk staff went out of the way to make sure I knew exactly how to get to the airport via the S Bahn. Very convenient location close to the main train station. Recently stayed at the Mercure Munich City Centre Hotel. This hotels has a very convenient location close to the railway station, which makes travelling to and from airport very easy. Neighbourhood bit 'sleazy', but would not stop me from staying there again. Privilige room well located, overlooking quiet courtyard, and well worth the extra. Overall […] a very pleasant stay. I liked this hotel. We stayed three nights to visit the Christmas markets in the area. The rooms were very comfortable and we had a good night's sleep every night. Breakfast was good - although at peak times they struggled to get enough places. We had to wait 10 minutes to be seated on Sunday. Best advantage of the hotel was that it was only five minutes […] walk to the train station., We bought Bayern Tickets which gives you unlimited travel in the region for up to 5 people, and for only 29 Euros. So, over the weekend we managed to visit markets at Munich, and Nuermburg and Salzburg. Overall, very pleased with the hotel,and would happily return Devamı

Pros: Very clean hotel, much better looking than all other hotels in the same street. Very convenient as it's right next to the train station/ trams. Breakfast buffet was good with a decent variety. Staff were very nice and friendly Cons: Main reason i'm giving it a rating of 2 is because i had the worst sleep ever. i had a faulty window which does […] not close properly (room 709), and football fans or random people shouting at 1am in morning will definitely keep you awake. i could have got a change of room, but at that time of night. the effort involved was not worth it. The room was very nice, large for a European hotel. The location was excellent, as it was near the Munich train station and we were to take the train to the airport early in the morning.

a very comfortable hotel. Unpreposessing from the outside, but excellent for access to the main train station and ready access to Oktoberfest ( which we were there for) Most other sights in Munich within easy walking distance too. Terrrific breakfast.

Nice hotel. The staff was very courteous and helpful, and we liked our room a lot. The location is convenient for the train station and downtown, but is a bit rundown and near some lower-level hotels and hostels.

The hotels offer free mini bar services daily and the rooms are spacious.

Hotel Mercure was a nice enough hotel. The rooms were clean, the shower was nice, and beds comfortable, but it had terrible service. The extra bed that they dropped of was very uncomfortable and they did not help you set it up. At first they only dropped off a blanket and pillow and expected you to sleep on the couch. Check in was a breeze and the staff was very helpful our entire stay. Parking was a couple of doors down and at a reasonable price. The breakfast was the best we had in Europe! And, a mimi bar with a salty snack, water, Sprite and a beer compliments of the hotel and refilled daily. A bowl of fruit was brought to our room the first day along with a large […] bottle of water. First Class! And we got a really good rate. The only downfall was the neighborhood. Not dangerous, but a little seedy. However, I would stay there again. We were walking distance to the main square where all the "action" was. Walk a couple of blocks and you were in a really nice area. We loved this hotel and would not only stay here again but will seek out Mercure Hotels in the future. OH, and there were 2 computers free to guest and in the morning they put out pasteries and coffee in the area. We were very happy we chose this property. Devamı

Very convenient to the train station with only a five minute walk, handy to the downtown core and the most amazing breakfast buffet we have seen on our extensive European trip! Rooms very good size, neighborhood filled with hostels so can be a little noisy but the windows seem to be double glazed so that when shut it eliminates just about all noise. […] One restaurant trip and about a twenty five minute walk from the hotel in the non touristy area is Ennslater Stubn a small German/Austrian restaurant that was the highlight of our Munich stay. I had read some reviews re. the surrounding area and neighbourhood being less than desirable and unsafe. Please don't take any notice of these, we had no issues at all. Whilst some people were lingering around, they kept themselves to themselves. At the end of the day, you can always get a taxi from the hotel anyway so it's not really a problem. Whilst […] we were a group of 14 guys, and I wouldn't advise a Woman on her own walking about in the early hours (in Munich or any other major urban conurbation anywhere in the world for that matter), it was fine. The Hotel was outstanding, the staff extremely helpful and made an effort to speak English (or understand my broken post A-Level pigeon German). The receptionists were especially helpful (and rather stunning lads may I add!! :)). It is a short walk into Marienplatz which is where you need to be and a 5 min walk across the road from the Hauptbahnhof (Main Station). Excellent weekend all round- Munich is a stunning city and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves- don't be put off by the moaners who complain about the neighbourhood- the hotel was superb full stop (or punkt as the Germans say!). Excellent hotel. Our room was of a high quality, very comfortable beds!! The bathroom was very nice, and even had a heated mirror so it never steamed when you had a shower. The room and bathroom seemed to get very warm though, we assumed it was due to the spotlights. Had to open windows a lot. Large selection of TV channels. Free mini bar was a bonus […] too!!! Easy to use free in room safe was very handy. The hotel is in a great location, only a ten minute stroll into the city centre. It's dead easy. Plenty of places to eat and pick up supplies near the hotel, and like I said the walk into the city centre takes minutes. You can get the S-Bahn from the airport to the Hauptbahnhoff (main train station - right by the hotel!) for 10 euros each single. This made getting to and from the airport really easy as you can get on right by the hotel. Check in and out was fast and simple. My only complaint about the hotel is the breakfast. Although very satisfying, you are made to believe it is included in your room rate. However, when we checked out we were slapped with a huge breakfast bill - a whopping 19 euros per person per breakfast!!! Ridiculous. That really is the only bad thing about the hotel. The staff are fantastic, the rooms and service fantastic, and the location fantastic! I would most definately stay at this hotel again and would indeed recommend it. Devamı

The hotel is a five minutes walk from the central railway station and a brisk 15 minute walk from the Marianplatz. The area around the hotel is seedy, but many of the city's mid priced hotels are located there. We felt safe when returning at night. The room was large and stylish, and very clean and comfortable. Large modern bathroom with a great shower […] and plenty of hot water. Our room overlooked the street, but it was quiet and we slept well. in a comfortable king size bed. I cannot comment on the food because we ate at the breakfast buffet at the Galeria Kaufhof Department Store on the Karlsplatz which was excellent and only 5 mins away. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel for a short break in Munich, especially to visit the Christmas markets. Devamı

For the price it is OK. More like a ***1/2 star. Although the location wasn't the best we felt safe day or night and it was easy to find our way around.

The Mercure is conveniently placed within 100metres or so of the main railway station. The station is also served by trains from the airport and a range of local trams. Our early booking included breakfast and the buffet provided an excellent choice of food. Staff were friendly and polite and our only problem was the failure of staff over 3 days to […] make the in room safe operational. We were offered the use of the reception safe but this was not convenient. Luckily friends were in the next room and we were able to share their safe. The decor is not to everyone's taste and a change to pastel shades would make the hotel lighter and more welcoming. Devamı

Well this hotel looked just like the pictures. In fact, I think the lady in the picture helped us! Just kidding. The room was large and very clean. The bathroom was large too. In our room, we could close of the room, to the entry of the room and the bathroom. We had complimentary water and fruit which was nice. The kids got little duckies, a book, and […] a candy. That made their day!! The air worked good although we would have preferred it cooler. No big problem with outside noise unless windows were open but that is expected. We did have noisy neighbors upstairs one night, but not the hotels fault. We didn't try the restaurant as there was cheaper stuff not too far away. The walk to the city center was easy from the hotel as well as access to the trains, buses, and trams. We had no problem getting around. The parking underground was good, however, not clearly marked lots of cars including us, would go down a row and it would dead end. It is about 15 euro a day. There are a few places to eat nearby including quick places in the train station. Another reveiw mentioned the neighborhood and adult entertainment. There are a lot of casinos and a few adult stores, there wasn't anything too bad in the windows that would have bothered me with my kids. It is centered near lots of hotels and hostels. We would stay there again because of it's location and it being nice. The staff was very nice too and spoke fantastic english. Devamı

This hotel is perfectly located and very plush. We enjoyed being so close the the HBF to utilise the excellent local transport network. There were plenty of restaurants close by and it is an enjoyable walk into the centre of the old town. The rate was great considering the quality of the room and overall we were very happy.

This hotel was absolutely beautiful on the inside, and our room was modern and immaculate. The hotel was very close to the train station, which was very convenient. My only complaint was that our room faced the street, and it was very noisy. We were on the 4th floor (the 5th floor American), and we could hear everything going on down on the street. […] I even went down to the front desk to ask for ear plugs. Nach entsprechender Vorankündigung unsererseits konnten wir um 23.45 Uhr problemlos einchecken. Die Zimmer waren sauber und gemütlich. Leider machte die Hotelbar um 01.00 Uhr Schluss und wir wurden mehrmals darauf hingewiesen, leise zu sein, was ein bisschen schade war. Ansonsten: super Lage, schöne Zimmer, gutes Frühstück!

Siisti ja kiva hotelli. Ystävällinen palvelu. Ympäristö ei ihan niin kiva, mutta jos tarvitsee hotellin rautatieaseman vierestä, tämä on erinomainen vaihtoehto.

Hotel bem próximo da rodoviária. Porém, Wikipédia- fi grátis apenas para quem é do Aclub! e mesmo assim não tem um bom sinal .

es befindet sich in einer gegend wo es sehr viele ausländische geschäfte gibt

Das Hotel hat für mich diese Plus punkte - sehr zentral alles zu fuß erreischbar - früschtück bis 11 alles was man sich wünscht ist dabei - mini bar frei -nettes Personal

Perto do centro de compras, turístico, estação de trem e todos tipos de transportes a única inconveniência foi estar perto de um hotel de jovens e ficarem conversando alto madrugada dentro.

Das Mercure Muenchen City Center liegt jeweils nur 5 Gehminuten vom Hbf sowie von der Fußgängerzone entfernt. Die Zimmer sind sauber und geräumig, das Frühstück allein eine Reise wert. Freundliches Personal sowie ein ausgewogenes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis sprechen für einen Aufenthalt.

Excelente hotel e ótima localização.
