There were a few things maintenance wise that I addressed with the front desk staff and she not only thanked me for letting her now, she also took notes and apologized.

The place could use a face lift but the staff is great. It's a good place to take dogs and it has an acceptable pool. I'd stay again and probably will by late summer.

I called the hotel when I had trouble finding it from Google maps. The concierge was very nice, but she sent me in the wrong direction twice, even though the second time I asked her specifically if I should be crossing the major intersections in the direction I was travelling. The hotel was clean, but its location was sketchy, isolated, and was located […] beside a closed and vandalized restaurant. It was more than two miles from any eateries or gas or shopping locations. The musty smell triggered one of my companions' allergies. The windows were loose and knocked out of their tracks and caused us to feel rather vulnerable. Devamı

This hotel's good for its proximity to the Garden of the Gods. Otherwise, it's comfortable and clean, but it's on an odd off street right by a highway. Not the best neighborhood, but the hotel is comfortable enough.

The hotel was good for the price. Close to lots of attractions. My kids enjoyed indoor pool. Room a little dated but clean. Would stay again.

Good location to Pikes Peak, under an hour. And 15-20 minutes from Cave of the Winds, Minnatou Cliff Dwellings and across the street from Historic Old Colorado City. Good price for the location but uncomfortable beds and fairly thin walls. There is however a heated pool and a continental breakfast that includes waffles, cereal, various drink choices […] and a few other snacking items such as a banana or oatmeal. I feel compelled to write this review about my stay at travelodge. I have never witnessed a more helpful and friendly staff than at this hotel. The room was clean and smelled pleasant. The indoor swimming pull was a big hit with my 11 year old daughter. The breakfast in the morning was very good with plenty of options including fresh hot waffles. The […] weather conditions was undesirable the morning of our check-out and the staff was kind enough to brush the snow off of my Jeep. We really enjoyed our room. It was larger than most we've stayed in recently; everything worked well; we really appreciated the fridge and microwave. Front desk staff were very friendly and informative.

Room 116 was located next to the hotel laundry , You could comotion in the room all night, machines running all night very loud !!!!!, plus the people above my room never slept very loud people!!!! We have stayed here once before and again found it satisfactory. Pleasant staff, comfortable bed, plenty of very hot water in the shower, acceptable breakfast. Walls are thin though and noise can carry as a result. Fair price.

This is the second time we have stayes here while on vac. The employees are very nife and polite. There continental breakfast is very well prepared with an attendent there for anurhing you might need. This is not a fancy upady type hotel. Very down to earth friendly place. Also has a pool and wifi.

Was an easy drive to downtown and South Colo. Springs. Accommodations were simple and mostly in good condition and at a good price. The staff was helpful and friendly but parts of breakfast on Sunday morning were put out later than advertised, or maybe they ran out of waffle batter and had to make more. Very nice room, well worth the price.

It was in an area that didn't seem very safe - You had to go in through the back and the neighborhood isn't the nicest. They locked the doors at 11 and had all kinds of safety info up, which didn't help at all. I would try another place if I was in Colorado Springs again

Great location but I was hessitant to check in. The hotel needs to be updated. The thing that was comforting was the cliental was "normal". Dumpy was my first reaction, the room smelled smokey, even though it was a no smoking room. The positves are the great location, friendly staff and quite rooms.

Very nice and outgoing staff, laundry room, pool, pool area, hallways and rooms need some improving. A little bit of paint goes a long way. Faucet in bathroom to small for sink. Over all stay was a good experience.

Our family of four shared a room at this location. The breakfast was acceptable and the hotel is conveniently situated off the highway and close to Manitou Springs. The neighborhood in which it is located is not great.

We stayed here last year for our family reunion. We were very pleased with everything then. We were disappointed this time. The floors were very dirty and it seemed a little more run down than it was last year. I stay here because they allow our standard poodle and everyone was friendly with the dog and us

Staff was friendly & helpful. Would stay there again

The location is not only conveniently accessible from HWY 24, it is also within walking distance of Old Colorado City which is an historic and nice area to eat and shop. The housekeeping and front desk staff were all pleasant to deal with.

Our room had mold on the bathroom walls. The floor in the pool area were disgusting. The whole pool area including windows need a good cleaning. The landscaping was a bit to be desired. The entire thing had weeds and saplings growing up. From the road it looks like a complete dive. Curb appearance is very important We did't think it looked like you […] were even open. . I can not believe someone driving by to get a room would even stop. We got fooled by ordering on line. A big disappointment. The appartment complex next door was something else. Young adults and teenagers haveing a family fued. Parents came and added to it with fists in air and swinging. Bad scene. Need to have big clean up in that area before we would ever recommed going back. Pictures on computer must be years old. But than if you had them updated you would not get online bookings. Devamı

This hotel was conveniently located close to Colorado City which is a quaint looking downtown area. Numerous shops were nearby and you're right off the main street so you can easily travel to Garden of the Gods, and Manitou Springs. The price is reasonable and the continental breakfast was the usual you'd expect anywhere else. We have 2 small children and needed a place to stay while visiting all the attractions (Cheyenne Mtn. Zoo, Pike's Peak Cog Railway, Cave of the Winds, Garden of the Gods, etc.). The hotel was in a great location to access all of these. Breakfast was good, front desk staff was helpful and friendly, fridge & microwave in room was great (a must for us) […] and beds were comfortable. Kids really enjoyed the pool, too. Doesn't look like it is in the best part of town, but cute shopping & restaurants just a few blocks away. Definitely not a luxury place, but comfortable, clean and worth the price we paid. A very nice location within 10 minutes of so many places to see - Cave of the WInds, Pikes Peak (Cog RR), Seven Falls, Horseback Riding, Garden of the Gods, Flying W Ranch, Manitou Springs, Old Colorado City and so on...Clean hotel, friendly staff, room a little dated - could use a little work in the bathrooms. We had 3 rooms and all were nice sized, […] clean with fridge, microwave, TV...Nice indoor pool for relaxing after a long day. Unfortunately it is next door to a closed Restaurant - a small eyesore until someone reopens it. Two blocks from Old Colorado City with a great sit down BBQ - Front Range BBQ in . Many other nice places to eat there. Fast Food and cheap BBQ down the highway at Rudys. I would stay here again. Decent Continental Breakfast too ! Devamı

The desk clerk was very nice and very helpful. I wish the grounds were more kept up. I think they do the best they can but with an empty restaurant next door the area looks a little unkept. The room was very clean and we did not have any noise. The breakfast was good and the other stayers were very nice. If I was looking for a budget place near Manitou […] this would be an ok choice. The bed was great! The hallways and carpet could use some sprucing up as well as the public areas. It was in an ok section of town, not the greatest, although I was never worried about safety.

Great customer service despite the employees smoking outside the front door on a regular basis.

Very cheap stay--and we were able to bring our dog! The only bummer is that it's "dog-friendly" but there aren't really any grassy spots on the hotel property for your dog to go potty.
