everything about our stay here was great, although there wasn't much hot water pressure in the room. the staff was friendly, and the location was great. there were a lot of really good places to eat nearby. I'd stay there again...

When entering the Hotel it was great, and I've stayed at this hotel before, with no problems. Staff are always great. Got to the room and it was close to 8 pm. Entered into the room and had to use the washroom. The bathroom was not clean, the toilet had not been cleaned at all and looked like a gas station restroom. The tub had hair in it, and the floor […] looked like people have stepped on it. Also the tissue was running low, and typically when a new guest stops in, they fold the end, well this time it looked like someone had just torn off a piece. The rest of the room was great, no complaints. The room had a fridge, microwave, tv etc. The outlets were a little inconveniently placed behind furniture, so underneath the desk was a power surge cord. I did check the bed, under the bed, and sheets.. and all was well. Again, Its a great hotel, just a poor job in the cleaning of the bathroom.. the carpet felt like any other hotel carpet, I always take my houseshoes. Last thing, when I woke up, I wanted to iron. The staff gave me an iron that didnt work, so I was only a few doors down and I asked for another iron, and it worked. Location was great, right off of 55 and near great fast food and sit in restaurants. Very close to Downtown Springfield as well. Devamı

An adequate hotel for the price. Conveniently close to expressways (good if traveling for business like I was). One recommendation though.....request a room in the central part of the building as the wireless internet does not work in the far North rooms (at least not on the second floor).

First off, Linda and her staff were outstanding! They were very attentive and always helpful. The room had a brand new mattress that was one of the best rests I've honestly ever had (booked the Queen bed, non-smoking). The room had several conveniences like a microwave, small fridge, and coffee, as well as digital TV. You can't beat it for the price. […] I'll definitely stay there again! Devamı

The room was clean, Bed very comfortable, The staff was very courteous, The Continental Breakfast was fantastic. Only problem was the Toilet, I had to have house keeping plunge it twice after which they left it in the bathroom for me, Started having problems with the toilet again and Proceeded to plunge it at which point two broken pieces of a glass […] ashtray which had been stuck came free, the toilet still did not work well after that and I could hear more clanking as I plunged the toilet indicating there was more still clogging the toilet. aside from this my stay was very enjoyable and I would recommend this motel to anyone staying in the springfield area Devamı

As a guest in town overnight. This was a wonderful last minute alternative to driving. Very quiet, clean room, comfortable, breakfast was prompt. Not enough pillows, but are there ever.

I had to come to springfield to the hospital. We wanted to stay at a place close to where friends lived. We chose Super 8 on 6th street because we had stayed at super 8's before and they were always nice. Well this one is not like the others we have stayed at before. we came to check in and they didn't have our reservation so the girl made our reservation […] there. We got to the room and when we opened the door the smell from the room almost knocked us down! smelled like someone used too much cleaner. Funny because the room was not clean. there was hair in the bathtub. the bed was hard as a sidewalk and the pillows were flat as a pancake.I tried to call the front desk but no answer. so I went down there and asked the girl behind the desk if i could get more pillows and she said no that they were out of them. I would not recommend this motel to anyone i do recommend that it be totally be remolded. Devamı

We went to 5 hotels on our vacation and this is the only one where there was no refrigerator in the room. When I informed the individual at the desk that the fan in the bath room did not work she told me that none of them did. The original owner had removed then all. So... One of the key cards did not work when I had taken that key directly to the […] room after original programing. It was reprogramed and worked, but the next day, at checkout, it did not work again. It is a piece of trash. I could not make the individual at the desk understand that. Devamı

The room we stayed in smelled and I should have said something but it was late when we finally got back to the hotel. So we just opened up the windows - thank God we were on the second floor. Don't know what you were trying to cover up but you used way too much freshener made your eyes water. Less is sometimes better!!

Convenient to just about everything. A short drive straight to the downtown area without the inconvenience of being in a crowded area. Right off I55. Minutes from the Route 66 drive-in for late night double features. And best of all the Golden Corral and WALMART is right across the street. But the room could use a fridge and microwave. The only complaint that I have about this hotel is that the bed was rock hard. I slept in the chair because it was so hard. I have a bad back from surgery so I need a decent mattress. This one did not have that.

This hotel received a 3.5 rating on Hotels.com. We booked it for Friday, July 8th, 2011 for an overnight visit. Checked in around 2:30, queen room for 2 adults and 1 child. Upon checking into the room, we turned on the air and dust blew out from the vent. There was no timer control, so we were either freezing cold or hot because of having to manually […] adjust the temperature by hand. Secondly, the TV barely worked and the cable went in and out all night. The beds were like sleeping on concrete or bricks, stiff backs, noisy from traffic outside. The cleanliness of the room was the worst, the bathroom was covered in powdered cleanser that hadn't been washed off. There was a fine film of dust on the tables and nightstand, and there were dust balls in the corners of the room. The wireless internet was extremely slow and not available at all after 11 pm. The continental breakfast consisted of rock hard bagels, watered down coffee and a minimal selection of cold cereals and overly ripened fruits..NOT good. I would NOT stay here again for any amount of money, nor would I recommend it to friends or family members. Go down the street and stay at the Homestyle Inn or Route 66 Inn..both looked to be much better and cleaner than this place and the scariest part is that the Super 8 is now under NEW management...wonder how BAD it was before. Room had musty/moldy smell, and the rug seemed to be damp. The shower rod was not attached properly to the wall and fell down when simply moving the curtain. Uncomfortable bed.

ur room had not been properly cleaned, there was cigarette butts on the floor from previous guests. The carpet was severly stained and dirty. The breakfast was to say the least a JOKE. Would never return to this property nor recommend it to any one.

Hotel was ill-prepared as far as service goes. Continintal breakfast was advertised, there was nothing but coffee available. Fire alarm went off for (apparently) no reason, staff did not seem overly concerned about getting it reset.

If you are looking for a cheap place to sleep for the night this hotel is good for that. The rooms are old and dated but clean, no frills. The breakfast selection is slim. Overall, it was okay for a cheap place to sleep and get back on the road.

I was willing to sacrifice a bit of "luxury" in order to save money, and I found these accommodations to be quite comfortable. They included everything that I needed and more. Clean, quite, simple comfort. The hotel is conveniently located off the Interstate and easy to find. The complimentary breakfast was nothing to write home about; but for the […] price, I might have settled for none at all. Devamı

This hotel is adequate. My only complaint is that the electrical outlets in the room were very inconvenient (behind furniture or far from where I wanted them to be) and that they were already full of other appliances. Also, there was no iron in the room.
