College Station Super 8 Motel - College Station

The first room they gave me the WiFi would not connect and the room was scary it was so dirty and worn out. They moved me upstairs to a room that was actually much cleaner and barely tolerable and the WiFi worked for exactly 5 minutes at a time. I had to have the desk reset the router every 5 minutes. They said it had been acting that way for several […] weeks. REALLY - I was there on business and had to have the internet. Maybe they could have said the internet is out! Good looking hotel right across the street for the same price. I will NEVER stay there again! The young woman at the desk was rude and refused to refund my money so that I could move to another hotel. Breakfast consisted of cereal, waffle and bread. Devamı

The staff was friendly and nice. I had to call for towels because the made left one in a room with two people. So the clerk brought up three. Good man. The continental breakfast was almost non-existent. They had waffle irons out (unused) and nothing really worth eating. You can stay across the street at hampton for a few dollars more, or the Super 8 […] is just fineif you cant afford it. Devamı

smelled very musty upon enterance.. Like something nasty was hidden in room. Other than that, it is what you pay for.

I only booked the room to have a Place to Sleep, but had I stayed more than one night it would have been money well spent. It is Located close enough to the Bars that a Cab Ride wasn't expensive and the Room was clean, neat, & had alot more features than I expected (Fridge, Microwave, Safe). Staff was nice and attentive, room was clean although a few items (towels) were initially missing. Overall a great value.

This is the second time this year we have stayed the night and the second time the room's air conditioning unit was not operating properly. Fortunately both nights it was cool enough to open the window. The hotel is older but the rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable enough. Both stays we arrived later in the evening and left first thing in the […] morning. The breakfast is sufficent. The limited experience with the staff was pleasant. Hotel is clean, friendly, and priced right. I had to walk through an unclassy cloud of smoke to go through the front door and it was suprisingly created by the staff. Rating received a knock for that and for neighborhood. I was approached at 6am leaving by a man in a truck asking for some money for diesel. Hotel is older but in good condition, great if you just need a place to crash. Staff was very nice and helpful. Continental breakfast was on time and well stocked. Good value for the price.

This hotel is close to the A&M campus and not as expenzive as some. The hallways were kind of warm, but the A/C was fine in the rooms.

This is an adequate motel. Its location close to campus makes it a good choice for games or parents visiting students. It's not fancy, but the A/C works and the room was clean. The included breakfast is convenient but the dining area is crowded on game weekends.

It's just a room. Nothing special. Not updated. Not nice. As I said just a room that they can overcharge you for because it is close to Texas A&M campus.

Nothing special, but the room was neat and clean. Hallways and common areas could use some serious updating, but otherwise it's a perfectly fine place to stay. The showers from the adjacent rooms are VERY loud, so don't be surprised if you get awakened by another guest showering up early. Staff was very friendly. We arrived to find an older hotel that was not very well kept! The ac was broke in our room, and there were adults partying until 4:30 am all around us! Management did nothing! We had prank calls to our room. The bed wad hard flat pillows and scratchy sheets! Never again!

This Super 8 was decent and nothing was non-working nor nasty. If you are sensitive to smoke do not stay at this hotel as you will smell it when walking down the hallways although my room did not have a smoke smell at any point. Everything in the room worked and the location it at the end of a strip of restaurants so food is not a problem. Although […] the hotel is dated there were no gleaming defects but some attention to detail would result in a hotel that has a little more eye appeal. Free wireless was also available and was fast enough to watch a streaming movie. The hotel staff was nice and helpful. If you are a prince/princess who expects workout rooms, concierge service, off-street garage parking, dry cleaning pick-up at your room and an in-hotel restaurant this is not your hotel but if you just want inexpensive with quick access to the university and restaurants this is the place. It's a Super 8. You're going to get more or less what you expect -- it's all enclosed, though, so none of the doors open to the outside, making it a bit nicer than most Super 8s. Otherwise it was almost entirely unremarkable: a place to lay our heads at night, a passable complimentary breakfast, and not much else.

Asked for a "non smoking room" and got that only in the label. Someone smoked in there and it reaked. Beds were not what I expected (low grade) but the breakfast was good. Expected better but it just wasn't there. Needs restoration.......

This motel is close to the campus and makes an acceptable place to stay for game weekends. The breakfast area is small and was crowded during our visit. The room was clean and the appliances (tv, refrigerator, alarm clock, etc.) all worked.

was not impressed that we got a handicap room with NO BATH TUB without being asked ,frig not pluged in so we thought it was broken, had to go down three different times in order to try and get something for breakfast, and all during the night kept hearing thud noises about every three minutes or so...........did not make for a very peaceful sleep

The hotel is very conveniently located. Clean and nice. The bed was a little hard for my taste, but still an enjoyable stay. Good continental breakfast.

Hotel smelled of smoke even on the NON smoking floor. Sheets were very uncomfortable. My daughter asked why the pillows had little balls on them. Hand towels in the bathroom had hair balls on them. We should have left, but it was late and we had to get up early the next morning. You get what you pay for. Room was a nonsmoking room,but it smelled like a smoke filled pool hall.When I left ,my clothes smelled of smoke.

I booked a non-smoking room. When I checked in at 4pm they gave me a smoking room. The hallway smelled awful. They were unwilling to change my room.

-Ok hotel for the location and price, but dont expect much help from the front desk. They really don't like anything that requires them to get out of their front desk sanctuary. -Breakfast area and selection was actually pretty good.

We reserved three rooms which were supposed to be together and all non-smoking. When we arrived we were placed on three different floors. The first floor room was unacceptable because the tobacco smell almost knocked us down when we oppened the door. We were reassigned to another room. The air-conditioner didn't work in that room and we had to open […] the windows. It was a miserable night! The staff was good to come to repair the a/c and wound installing a new one. Despite the fact that this hotel hasn't been redecorated in any way since the 70s, it wasn't horrible. It also isn't nice. However, considering the options vs. price for football weekends in College Station, it isn't unbearable. If you aren't planning to stay there much, it's acceptable to rest your head between Aggie events.

I can't believe I paid to stay in a dump like the Super 8. I guess you have to take what you can get during football season, but it was way too much! The room smelled musty, the bed was really old, the A/C fan didn't work, and the walls were really thin so you could hear everything around you.

The room appeared clean, but there was a distinctive odor upon entering the room (musty, stinky shoe type of odor). The shower head whined extremely loudly when used and the legs under the end of one bed collapsed when 3 of us were sitting on it (combined weight ~350lbs). Otherwise, the room was adequate, beds comfortable, pillows a bit puny.

Not luxurious but certainly serves the purpose of convenient location and price.

Great room for the price. Very clean.

The beds were comfortable, but the room was really really small. The fridge in the room did not keep anything cool because the lining around the door was in need of replacement. And at no time were we able to get any hot water in the bathroom.

There was a high school athletic event in town during my stay. The hotel was full of rowdy kids. The staff did absolutely nothing to contact the kid's supervisors to calm them down. My daughter and I did not receive much sleep for our two day stay. I will try another facility next time.
