I guess you get what you pay for. I stayed at this hotel during a drive from Indiana to Houston, bringing my dog along. The location of this hotel meant there were limited options for walking your dog around the property, leaving only a small enclosed area in the back with grass. This area was not lit, leading to a really bad pre-sleep walk. My room […] had a couple of huge roaches, one of which I found and another that my dog found. If I wasn't so tired, I would have been more upset. The breakfast choices were pathetic, basically cereal and bagels, making me glad there was a Waffle House across the street to eat at. Devamı

The air conditioner did not work and we said so (not fixed). Bed was very old and hard coil spring. Breakfast was nothing great. Tight room areas. Very much an economy stay. The room was not very clean, had cob webs in the corners and dust on the tables. It smelled like it had not been used in a while. The bed is very lumpy and uncomfortable. It felt like it was not a mattress, but a small pile of blankets. I woke up in a divet. We had just checked in and we were about to leave when the door was suddenly unlocked, and the […] cleaner lady came in to get her bottle of Dr.Pepper that she had left in our fridge. We stayed here because Hot Springs was filled up with horse race fans. We we arrived the room was filthy. Cleaning staff was gone so we scrubbed both rooms down ourselves. Then we discovered that the bath tub faucet leaks down into the wall. That explained part of the mildew smell. The carpet in front of the A/C unit stayed soaked the whole week. The […] room was like a swamp. To top it all off, we awoke on the last morning to find a large mouse eating a rose on our bedside table. It lept onto the bed and ran behind the headboard. The staff was friendly but offered no solutions. They had housekeeping clean the room but no solution for the water or vermin. We were not offered anything in compensation for the horrific condition of the hotel. We would not recommend and we would warn everyone to avoid this place. Devamı

I've stayed at some nice Super 8 hotels, but this Super 8 was NOT that great. In fact, it wasn't great at all if you consider the condition of the room my family and I stayed in. The tub was one concern. It was clogged and not very clean so we could not even use it to shower, and I really wanted a shower when we got it, but since it was 1 in the morning, […] I didn't bother the attendant until later, say around 9 in the morning. His response was to offer to put me in another room because there was no one available to take care of the problem at the time...what? I'm going to be checking out in a couple hours, I don't want to switch rooms NOW. I told him that's ok, I'll just wait until that evening. Got my shower at the next stop!! Besides the shower, the room was not very well cleaned. The carpeting was dirty. The vents in the heater looked really nasty. The carpeting along the base board was falling away in one place. There was someone's (dirty???) underwear stashed behind the microwave (presumably someone threw their clothing off???). Guess guest services doesn't check behind things. Peeling paint, dirty walls/doors, etc., etc.The only thing nice was the beds. At least they were comfortable and we slept well, no bedbugs, which was a relief! =) However, I definitely won't be staying here again! I'm changing my reservation to a different hotel for my trip back home!!! Devamı

We checked in at about 11:30 pm. Wife noticed that the bathroom had absolutely no toilet paper.

With temperatures over 100 degrees, every day lately, we come into the hotel room and the A/C unit is TURNED OFF and had been off for a long time. that room was a hotbox. We never did get the room cooled down before we left. It was a horrible, hot night. No sleep. I'm not sure when a 2 star rating for a hotel excused poor upkeep and basic facility repairs. Unfortunately this hotel got some of it right and missed the mark on the rest. I do not expect flawless repair and sparkling accommodations when I am booking a 2 star hotel, but how about, when repairing your property take the time and the effort to do it right. […] One example...the shower rod had been replaced...great! but the replacement obviously left damage to the drywall and wallpaper. Instead of filling the holes and placing a new sheet of wallpaper to cover the damage...a tube of caulk was smeared over the holes and damage and used to stick the wallpaper back onto the wall. An overall sloppy repair job and representative of everywhere you looked on the property. Too bad that after driving almost 13 hours the day of check in we arrived at the hotel and had booked a smoking room we were told that only non-smoking rooms were still available. This is not an impossible inconvenience but when this happens I expect at least an apology that sounds remotely sincere. It was clear that it was irrelevant to the front desk staff that a mistake had been made. Also a clogged drain in the bathtub was not resolved after a request was made. I still will recommend this hotel but with reservations due to the above issues. The rates are reasonable, the location immediately off the interstate, a staff that wasn't surly and the beds were comfortable. Devamı

Bed was worn out. Air conditioning was poor.

we arrived early on motorcycles and back packs and the staff was helpful with getting us a room. we dropped off our backpacks and were able to ride to a nearby restaurant in comfort. you cant beat it for the price. the ride to hot springs was a breeze.

Good location for Arkadelphia. Hotel is nothing special, but it was clean. Bed wasn't great, but for just one night, it's no big deal. Breakfast was seriously lacking! Just go down the street to McDonalds!

I read so many reviews on this location, saying so many things negative, but we had no issues. No stink, A/C worked, 19" TV, small fridge/microwave, king bed. For the price, highly effective. We will be back.

I would not stay there again.

Although I made reservations, the hotel was not ready for me. I came to the hotel at 11am. I knew that check in was at 1pm, just thought I would see if it was ready. The clerk never asked my name just informed me that I could not check in this early. No problem. I came back at 3pm and the room was still not ready for me. If the clerk had asked my name […] then they would have known that I was in town and could have had my room ready. When I requested another room, I was refused. Because of the bad service, nothing was right after that. I could not even voice my concerns to the manager. Devamı

The hotel and staff were fine, but it's a bit plain for the price. There were some other, nicer spots within walking distance. We only stayed here because it was on the hotels.com list to qualify for rewards...otherwise, we'd have stayed somewhere else. Overall, though, not a bad spot, just priced a bit high for the product.

Great location near highway and outstanding restaurant.
