I just needed a cheap place to crash for a few days while in town. I got the cheapest room they had. No fridge...no microwave. I guess you get what you paid for.

Room felt dirty and then when I woke up to a cockroach in my bathroom, that was it.

I only stayed for one night, so I can't speak to what a longer stay would be like. But the front desk people were nice. The room smelled of soap when I walked in (I believe I said "It smells pretty" lol), which I found nice and reassuring. The bed was very comfortable. My only complaint is that the internet kept going out on me every 5-10 minutes and […] was a hassle to get back. But since my stay was so brief, it wasn't a real problem. The location - right on the freeway - can be either super-convenient or a real pain, depending on where you need to go and what kind of driver you are. Devamı

Great location if attending events at Ovens Auditorium or Bojangles Coliseum

My stay was very good when I was there. The staff was very helpful fulfilling my needs and answer any question or concern I may have had.

the desk emp very nice and helpful day and night.I was happy to find out that the hotel was next to a show arena that tyler perry play the haves and haves not ,was there,i wanted to go but it was sold out .You should make notice being close to a play house arena

Very pleased with our stay at this hotel. Good condition, convenient for us, and generally well maintained.

I stayed at this hotel because it was right across the street from the Bojangles coliseum. I was attending a TOOL concert. The outside of this facility is well kept. The staff was very friendly (quick check in-out). I did not pay Ritz Carlton prices and did not expect it either when I opened the door. I had a smoking room and the room smelled pretty […] good till u turned on the AC. The bed was clean and in decent condition. All the lights worked and so did the remote. The bathroom was in pretty good shape and loved the water pressure and the shower head. I do not recommend walking barefoot on the carpet though. Its dated, stanined and dirty. I would definitely stay here again if I were to attend an event at this venue. Devamı

The location is perfect if seeing something at the Bojangles Arena. But its dirty and broken down. Staff was very helpful and nice.

This hotel deserves better feedback than has been left by other people. The staff was very friendly. The location was within walking distance of Bojangles Coliseum, which was my reason for being in Charlotte. It was a nice place to just rest my head for the night.

Although the area is not somewhere I'd go walking around at night, the interior of the hotel and the room, bathroom and bed were all clean and comfortable. I needed a place at the last minute, and this was convenient to uptown, where I work.

Not a five star hotel but good for a cheap place for the night. It was close enough to down town to take a quick cab ride.

This hotel served its purpose. The rooms were Clean there was NO internet connection. But they give you the option to be relocated if this is an issue. With our schedule the room was needed just for sleeping purposes.

Disgusting! Supposedly renovated in 2009, but the room showed no proof of this. Staff was unfriendly and unhelpful, and allowed some random woman to come into our room to "look at our bathroom". Instead of opting to sleep in the following morning, we hightailed it out of that hole as soon as the sun was up.

First off no wifi and blamed on TWcable but who really knows, the people was nice but checking into the room we found the room had no refrigerator which hotels.com said it did and was responded too rudely,The TV didnt have aboutten upper channels and had bad reception and the tv said two of the main ones vs and espn2 wasnt available, the beds were not […] comfortable at all, the tub wouldnt hold water so it was shower only. The breakfast wasnt bad but nothing more than expected. Not bad for what it did but if i would have known ahead of time I would have booked elsewhere. Devamı

We stayed like 4 nights in this hotel and their internet connection is down for 4 days!!! We have to go somewhere else just to have internet connection. No Ref nor microwave in the room.

Some updates to the rooms would make it more comfortable.

the room was very small, but it was clean & quiet. i didnt like the location. it was too hard to get to.

This hotel is in desperate of demolition! The room smelled bad. Wallpaper bubbled on wall in bathroom. Disgusting room.

The hotel staff was very courteous and attentive but the iron and ironing board need to be replaced only negative issue with the room. Nice digs for the money.

The price was right and the location was ok. I had asked for no smoking room, but none were available. I was too tired to worry about it, so I slept in what seemed to be an ashtray with a mattress.

The hotel is old but in good repair, the room did not have an unpleasing odor, my concerns was there was only one ice machine, normally that would not be a problem except in this case the temperature was in the teens and this is an extremely long building with all the rooms on one level and as fate would have it , I was on the opposite end and opposite […] side from the ice and vending machines making it a long COLD walk especially at night., also there were NO receptacles at the night tables causing me to have to move the bed to access the one receptacle on the other side for my c-pap and cell phone (my wife was using her receptacles for her needs. Even at the room desk there was only one hard to access receptacle and the lamp was a plug in. I had to purchase an extension cord to accommodate my needs because o the lack of receptacles. Sounds trivial but when traveling these are convinces you normally expect in rooms. But the worst was as stated earlier the fact management choose to rent out the parking to outsiders with NO regard to his room paying customers.So for mt part he can tear down the lodging and turn it all into parking for neighbor venues. The room was clean. It was a bit small, though. I read the information on the website that said all rooms had refrigerators and found that NOT to be true. I had to call the front desk for the hairdryer that was supposed to be in the room to be brought to me. The phone was not working and found out that it was not even plugged into the wall jack.

We knew we were getting a budget hotel, so the location on the outskirts of town was expected, with the sights and sounds of other hotels and a highway. Also, we expected (and got) a small room. We were there to see a show at the next-door Ovens Auditorium, and we thought that location would be ideal. The hotel staff was very kind. But some advertised […] features were missing: in-room wireless internet, half of the cable stations, and HBO. The free breakfast was the usual waffle maker, fruit bowl, and assorted pastries. The room felt musty and over-air-freshened, but it had a clean appearance. The air-conditioner was LOUD as it kicked on and off all night. I recommend choosing a better location for a leisure trip such as this. Despite being close to our ultimate destination (the theatre), we spent all our time in other areas of town that had better dining, walking, and free outdoor concerts. Next time we will definitely stay in those neighborhoods (Uptown Charlotte or South Park) and drive out to see the show. The location was not worth it, except for the savings. But, for the price and location, if you know you are getting a budget hotel, the only real lack was the internet and some TV stations. Devamı
