Churchill Suites Crown Miami Beach - Miami Beach

Churchill is a condo that rents out some units as hotel rooms. The units are beat up and weathered with lumpy mattresses. There was a used condom box in the dresser. The fixtures in both baths were rusted. The carpet mashed down and dirty. The workout room was better than expected; one good thing.

This is a condo rental that should not be that expensive considering the "YMCA" type of service. It is not a hotel for vationers. It is more like a timesharer.

I have to say I was a bit concerned about the check-in procedure but was pleasantly surprised at how easy and problem free the experience was. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They offered suggestions of places to go and things to do. The lobby was clean and welcoming as was the game room. Newly remodeled, tastefully decorated, new appliances and very clean. The full kitchen is a plus (even though we didn't use much of it), the washer and dryer a definite bonus and the living room very comfortable. There were 5 of us and unfortunately we only spent 2 nights there (Dec. 2011) before leaving for a cruise to the Bahamas but I would definitely stay here again if ever in the Miami Beach area and would highly recommend it to others. I brought my family to Miami Beach. Stayed in two bedroom suite. Huge improvement over standard hotel. Full kitchen, living room, balcony, ocean views. Right on the beach with the board walk. Hot tub could have been hotter. Overall was a great stay, and would return in a heartbeat

Would not recommend this hotel under any circumstances, Better off staying at a local budget hotel than at the Churchill Suites, which in fact is not a hotel but a condominium

Hotel is a great value and great location- valet is free and very prompt. Great ammenities and nice beach.

No front desk no room service not a hotel at all

If you like apartment style suites, this place is great! The amenities are nice. The oceanview balcony is ok, depending on which room you get. My room was closer to the street, so I could see the ocean from a distance, but was closer to the construction on the street. It does NOT have wireless internet. The attendants are rude and they tell you that they will bring your car in 15 minutes, but each time I asked for it, it took over a half an hour to get my car, if they remembered that you called for it at all! These are residential condos for rent. Very nice, but if you want hotel services you WON"T get them. Checking in is a headache and very strange.

The Crown was a very nice place. Right on the beach and nice pool and huge hot tub on premises. One thing you should know is that this is really not a hotel. People live in the majority of this building. They use 2 floors of the 14 on the property as "a hotel." This being said, there was no real lobby for us, as guests, to go to with concerns. We checked […] in in a small room with cleaning carts in it. Another huge downfall was we got no housekeeping for 3 days and with 6 people in the room, that was not acceptable. we ran out of towels and toilet paper and had to go on a mission to retrieve these. We had called housekeeping and said we were on the schedule for our room to be cleaned and still never came. we also ran into the housekeeping in the hall and they still said someones supposed to be doing our room, and still never came Also, the 24 hour phone number to call with any questions constantly went to the answering machine. These things were very annoying and not for you if you are looking for an actual legit hotel, but the suite was extremely nice and clean upon arrival and the view was great. The location was also just a cheap cab ride down to south beach. I would go back as long as they get their housekeeping under control and it would have been nice to be more aware of what the actual property was. Devamı

If you are looking for a nice and quiet place to stay while in Miami Beach, this is it! I have stayed at the Churchill Crown Apartment for 5 nights over Easter and found a very good deal on Hotels.com if comparing with other properties in the area. For the price you pay, you get a huge apartment with fully equiped kitchen, nicely furnished and located […] right on the beach with swimming pool and free valet parking; what more can you ask for! The staff was very nice and helpful at all times, apartment cleaning schedule was a bit strange, but if you requested them to come at a specific hour, they would take it into account. No need to bring your own beach towels as they have some available if you request them upon arrival. I would recomment renting a car as public transportation in Miami is very bad. The HUGE plus of this property is that they offer free valet parking while the rest of hotels in the area charge between 20-30 USD/night for parking: i think this is the ONLY ONE in Miami Beach! The walk to South Beach is only about 40 minutes and is very nice if you use the boardwalk that passes right in front of the hotel. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay at Churchill Crown and would definitely be back soon! We would recomment it to anyone! Devamı

We booked a one bed apartment for 3 adults and one child. We arrived 45 mins prior to the advertised check in time. We were directed to the booking agents office which was closed. There was no note to direct us to our keys and reception knew nothing about it. We phoned the no. on our booking to be told the agent had left early and the keys were with […] reception. We returned to the hotel and a second receptionist had our keys. A beautifully decorated, spacious apartment awaited us with twin beds for our daughters as requested. Unfortunately the sofa bed was very uncomfortable and there was no bedding provided. The reception were unable to help as the booking agents office was closed. We used a spare cover between us the first night. The girls remarked their beds were a bit on the hard side. The following day we tracked down a spare mattress for the floor via the very helpful chambermaids and they also helped us with bedding and pillows. We were provided with one key and security fob despite booking for three adults. We never received the requested extra keys and consequently had to stay together the whole stay (3 nights), It is a shame the customer service from the agent was so poor as this was otherwise a great apartment. Very comfortable and conveniently located.

Positives: Proximity to boardwalk and ocean. Spacious apartments, nice kitchen, nice view, Free parking (valet guys very nice) Negatives: Renovated building, but obviously not completely. Carpeting was disgusting, bed uncomfortable, blinds broken, had trouble getting housekeeping to come (even though supposed to be daily), check in is weird, no one […] available after hours. This hotel was very nice but the hallways needed some upgrading . We rented a one bedroom suite/apartment. Our room was very nice and clean, however there were 2-3 venetian blinds missing from the living room. Also we noticed that the bathroom sink faucet became unattached during the end of our stay and was hanging from the sink. We called the office […] and maintenance came but did not fix the faucet during our stay. Check-out was very convenient because we could leave our room keys in the slot outside the office. Overall it was a good stay at this hotel. Excellent condo resort. Note: this is not a hotel with all the usual hotel features and services. But if you want a great apartment with lots of room and quite public areas, this is for you. Beach is beautiful, you can walk 2 blocks on the beach boardwalk to the Holiday Inn for a great breakfast buffet. Morton's steakhouse is located downstairs. South […] Beach is a short drive or a very long walk (40 blocks) along the boardwalk. Valet parking is free, fast and convenient, although I prefer self parking--a rarity in Miami Beach. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Only two negatives: 1.) Stayed in November and the pool was cold (but the hot tub was big and great). 2.) the mattress in the pull out couch was terrible, the springs poked all over (we rented a 1 bedroom and my son slept on the couch rather than on the foldout mattress. We liked the hotel a lot. The front desk manager was very couteous and attentive. The room was nice except for the bed. It wasn't as comfortable as we thought. It made noise every time there was a movement. The kitchen was very nice. It was cleaned and looked brand new. I would love to see the 1-bedroom and 2-bedrooms apartments.

This hotel is mainly residential suites with a few rentals.The hotel is in a good location. It is about 5 minute drive to south beach. The only thing I did not care about the hotel was there is no front desk and someone to assist 24/7. The hotel uses room 203 for the office. It does have free valet parking 24/7. The valet is useful for information, […] however they are a contract with the hotel. So if you have a problem you will need to contact someone else to resolve any issues. We had a condo for 3 nights. Condo was nice. No noise whatsoever with the neighbors. Perfect for family with young children. Room was comfortable & staff friendly. There were missing items in the kitchen (ex. no pan) so preparing food was more challenging. Otherwise, everything met expectations. Those are small studios in a condo building. The building has a pool and access to the beach. So if that's what you're looking for you're all set. Each studio has a kitchen, which is great to eat in. No other services are offered as a regular hotel, no bar, no restaurant, no shop... So if you can bring all you need to stay "like at home" it's fine. This hotel/condo was the best find I could have asked for while visiting Miami Beach. To find a room like this with a full kitchen, dining area,2 balconies that give you an ocean view and a city view, plus a separate bedroom with a king bed! WOW! And for a very reasonable price. Das Hotel liegt direkt am Strand vom nördlichen South Beach. Fußläufig an der Strandpromenade ca. 30 min. zum Ocean´s Drive. Schwimmen, Joggen am gepflegten Pool relaxen oder einfach auf dem modernen Zimmer abhängen alles dabei. Zudem alles sehr preiswert für die Lage. Für uns ein geheimtipp für Leute, die jetzt nicht unbedingt einen 5 Sterne Bunker […] erwarten, sondern mit dem Auto das Land erkunden wollen und dort ihren Fixpunkt haben. Fint, rent, trevliga människor. Lite utanför men lugnt läge. Småsaker som var trasiga men inte lagades som information om att en telefon var trasig men inte byttes ut den vecka vi var där. Fina rum, skulle kunna flytta dit när som helst! Ja, jag kan rekommendera detta hotell.

Hotel bien situé, face à la plage, au calme mais pas trop loin des commerces et restaurants, idéal avec des enfants.

Séjour en famille de 7 jours à la fin du mois de juillet. Suite vaste et très bien équipée avec vue sur la mer et la piscine. Seul petit bémol concernant le nombre de verres, d'assiettes et de couverts un peu limité. Vi betalte for en studioleilighet med 2 rom. Den hadde bare ett rom, og lå inneklemt inne i et hjørne med fri innsikt fra flere andre rom, uten mulighet til å dekke til helt med gardiner. Balkongen hadde aldri sol, men vi hadde delvis hav-utsikt. Vi mistrivdes, og forsøkte å bytte rom, uten å få svar på henvendelsen. Selve studioleiligheten i seg selv […] var ikke så verst, men sengene var ikke gode. Meldte mangler mht glass i leiligheten ble ikke rettet opp på de dagene vi var der. Minimarket , en resturang og "pol" var i nærheten, men ellers var det lite tilbud i området. Devamı

Das Churchill liegt etwas ruhiger, aber trotzdem sehr gut, weil man direkt auf die I 195 kommt und schnell auf der Verbindung nach Norden und Süden ist. Man muss bedenken dass es ein Eigentumswohnungskomplex ist wo einige Wohnungen vermietet werden, deshalb hat man auch keine Rezeption oder Ähnliches. Man sollte die Zeit zum Check In einhalten, gegen […] 15:00h und es übernimmt dann der Hausmeister, man bekommt die Schlüssel und wird über alles informiert. Wenn man Probleme hat kann man ihn anrufen und es wird einem relativ schnell geholfen. Wir hatten dort keine Probleme. Die Anlage, der Poolbereich und der Bereich am Meer ist sehr gut angelegt und definitiv empfehlenswert. Das Zimmer an sich war auch sehr gut, Queen Bett, ein Wohnbereich, gut ausgestattete Küche und ein angenehmes Bad. Der Balkon war zum Meer ausgerichtet und es gab keine Probleme mit dem Zimmerservice. South Beach erreicht man auch sehr schnell innerhalb von 15min. Valet Parking funktioniert sehr gut 24h am Tag und ist kostenlos, perfekt für MB. Devamı

hotel très bon. attention service minimal après 15h00 (que le voiturier et remise de clefs). Miami beach m'a déçu en général... j'ai préféré palm beach qui est beaucoup moins touristique

bien situé peu de client, piscine + spa calme et sympa. Hotel sur la plage; Pas de parking à payer ( pour tout les hotels du quartier c'est 15 à 20$/jour ) Appartement tres bien equipé ( cuisine super ) commerces a proximité.
