Comfort Inn Marshall - Marshall

Pool needed to be warmer but we liked everything about it. We even got to check in early which was nice.

With opps to visit Battle Creek, Marshall, and Firekeepers Casino, the motel fit all of our expectations......the only negative were the poor pillows provided. Staff was extremely cordial, helpful, and seemed genuinely pleased in their roles and work.

While the room was clean and we were glad to have breakfast included, the beds were only doubles - not queen sized. The bathtub faucet control handle fell off when touched. The overall quality of the breakfast food was very low. The swimming pool had piles of sand or dirt in the corners of the pool and the water was not particularly clear. Was there with my 2 kids (11 and 9) and they loved the room, the pool, and the breakfast. All good!!! Will be returning here. But the rate was a touch higher than I would have expected. Especially considering how empty the place was.

Great price, clean room, excellent staff, free breakfast a real bonus. Room had fridge and microwave. Pool and hot tub were lots of fun. Everything was spotlessly clean. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat.

My daughter and I needed a place to stay close to Albion, MI before going on a college visit the next day. We found Comfort Inn in Marshall (15 minutes away). It was very well kept up, clean and the continental breakfast in the morning was excellent. There was an Applebee's a half mile down the road. It was a quick trip...checked in late, and out by 9. It was clean, comfortable, and quiet.

Your clerks were friendly, caring and helpful to me. Breakfast was very nice and more than I expected. Only thing I could possibly think of to take off a point was the A/C was a little loud turning on and off all night, but that was trivial. Loved Marshall!! Thanks for a restful night!

The bathroom was a bit cramped but the room was nice and well kept and the hotel provided a very nice continental breakfast. We weren't there very much but the staff was always friendly and helpful.

The hotel was very tired. We had to open the windows to sleep because of strong "old hotel" smell - a mixture of cigarettes, air freshener and body odor.

We stayed at Marshall 6 nights, and on a scale of 1 to 5, we give the staff at Marshall a 6!! From entering to leaving, they were like old friends,especially "Jean". We had a comfortable stay. Quality is good - excellent buffet breakfast. We have stayed here previously and will likely come back when we need a place at Marshall.

The staff is very friendly and willing to help and solve problems. We got to our room late night and one bed was unmade. we called down and they immediately fixed the problem. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed at this hotel due to its proximity to Battle Creek. There was a State wide wrestling tournament in Battle Creek. Other than the constant noise from excited kids running up and down the hall it was ok.

This is a clean spot out in the middle of farm country. The town is really cool and a few good resturants.

reserved and paid for non smoking, it had been smoked in, the clerk couldn't find a proper room, gave us a bottle of spray. upstairs guest was jogging in place and repeated attempts to quiet him were fruitless.

This hotel is a little expensive for the product, but I don't really have any complaints. It's conveniently located right off I-69 and the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was adequate and the staff at the front desk was friendly.

I was concerned about this hotel because of the price but since I am familiar with Marshall, I knew safety wasn't an issue. This hotel is a unknown gem! The hotel lobby was clean and so was the room (except for the drain stopper in the sink). Beds and pillows were comfortable (but I was the only one in them!). The hotel staff was great..helpful, courteous […] and bent over backwards to make my stay nice. The hotel is a great location...near 69 and 94. The best perk at this hotel was the indoor pool! It was so warm, it was like swimming in bath water! Whirlpool was great too. I was attending a 2 day workshop and didn't want to drive back and forth on Michigan road in winter and at night. It was a great place for a single female. I had a mini-vacation while on my business trip! Breakfast wasn't anything fancy but well stocked with cereal, eggs, toast, bagels, pastries, juice, coffee and tea. What more do you need? Another thing I liked were the tv channel choices...not just the news, weather and sports channels!!! I could hear some walking around above me and the truck parked right outside my window at 7 AM but I had to get up anyway! Other than that a great hotel for a great price!!! I'd love to stay again! Convenient access to East/West (Detroit-Chicago) and North/South Interstate highways. Marshall is a lovely small midwestern town. Shuler's Restaurant is a local landmark with good food in a comfortable setting. The tavern has outside for when the weather id nice.
