This is a very convenient location if you want to attend a Milwaukee Brewers game; plus, the hotel provides free shuttle service to and from the game. The hotel is also close to the Riverwalk and not far from the statue of "The Fonz." The room was comfortable; my only suggestion would be that they invest in some new pillows as the ones in our room were […] pretty flat and lumpy. The free breakfast was cold cereal, packaged pastries and coffee and juice. They told us there was a breakfast buffet at the Ambassador Hotel across the street for a fee but what they provided was enough to get us on our way to our next destination. Devamı

great inexpensive western fringe of downtown location, particularly if you have business at Marquette., Neighborhood is improving, but suspect some not familiar with area might be intimidated. Easy access to city, free parking is nice. It was quiet. Free wifi. Pillows are really lousy, need to offer varying types of pillows, not just a very poor foam […] thin pillow, which they have 3 of on each bed. kind of a perfect no frills easy in and out place for a biz traveler who spends most time outside the room but is on a budget and wants to be very close to downtown w/o paying Pfister prices. First room was not the cleaniest but okay. Other guests on our floor were loud, yelling, swearing in hallway, slamming doors and smoking pot. You could smell the pot smoke in your own room, it was so bad that we had to change rooms to a different floor. The hotel staff was helpful with the switching of rooms. Second room was much better! My husband […] and I were so upset at first we almost left and drove all the way back home. Devamı

The hotel specifies continential breakfast but this was the WORSE I've ever seen: frozen waffles, cereal and really unattractive pastries that were store bought and looked like they had been around awhile.

Very nice hotel but the neighborhood is a little rough but you best expect that in Milwaukee. Hotel was just what we needed and was at a great price.

I like the hotel alot and will be going again...

When we arrived to check in, they upgraded us to a room across the street at the 4 star Ambassador Hotel (Art Deco). The service was extremely nice and the room was exceptional. The only perk would have been to have a small refrigerator in the room. But, we look forward to staying again in the future.

This hotel was the perfect location to visit Marquette University. It is literally 2 blocks from the edge of campus. It was clean and comfortable and in a safe area. The only problem was noisy partiers. I called the front desk. Someone came up within 2 minutes and made the "extra" people in the room leave.

The Ambassador Inn was about 10 blocks from our meet site and had been remodeled and clean. I was able to check in early and take a nap for the evening competition. I walked the circular stairway because I enjoyed it! I would suggest that soap be furnished in the bathroom. Shampoo was furnished so I adapted. No problem.

If visiting the central city this is a good option because of secure parking and free shuttle. We had a nice breakfast at the main hotel Ambassador across the street.

Quality rooms, very nice staff. Worth it to have the breakfast across the street in the Hotel.

the room was clean and updated (esp the bathroom); BRING YOUR OWN PILLOW! 3 of the ones they provide will equal the size of the one you have at home! convenience of the shuttle service (with drop off AND return trips) would have been a plus in the cold weather but we didnt use it since we were close to our destination; neighborhood is quite sketchy […] late at night with people wandering up and down the streets wanting to 'ask you a question'; there isn't anyone on staff after midnight so you would have to go across the street to the larger hotel or call on the house phone for service; overall a great hotel for the price and the convenience for our trip! Staff helped us with shuttle to our planned wedding event. They brought extra towels. The restaurant at the Ambassador Hotel across the street is excellent. My room was quiet and clean and safe. Would highly recommend this stay.

The price of the hotel was great. when we got to our room the sprinkler system was leaky on the carpet we were a little scared but the front desk was great they gave another room down the hall and the manager came by about 10 mins later to check with us and to see how we were doing and to apology. The FREE shuddle to downtown MKE was amazing that made […] up for everything they were so friendly and the driver was awesome. also the andys candys at the check in counter was a nice touch :) sometimes its the small things. i will be staying here again next time i am in MKE. The room was always clean. However the location is inconvenient. The only parking for the lobby is in the street or across the street in their small lot. They encourage you to park in the larger lot at their larger hotel (more secure but much farther away) across a 4 lane major rd. The breakfast is a joke! Nice hotel for a work week. The shuttle service was great; took me downtown and recommended a great place to eat. Very convenient to get to the college (Marquette Univ.). The last night was not too great; partiers that stayed up making lots of noise until security came (finally at 4:00 am). Otherwise the stay was nice.

I enjoyed my stay here. The room was great. The free breakfast was a little lacking, but it got the job done. The fitness center could use a better elliptical and weight machine, but we managed with that also. There are a couple GREAT and CHEAP restaurants withn a block or two, as is the Pabst Mansion. I am a tightwad by nature, but I won't just stay […] anywhere. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Devamı

Ambassador was convenient to freeway, but neighborhood was questionable. Room was nice with comfortable bed. Continental breakfast seemed to be an after-thought with minimal choices of cold food. Choose hotel for location and price, so got what I paid for.

Very art deco...looks like you walked into a 1930's hotel. Beautifully decorated and modern. Very convienent to area attractions and easy to get to from major roads. I will definitely book here when I return.

I will just say that it was excellent. The staff was friendly and accomodating. the facilities are very comfortable, and the rate reasonable. Good people in Milwaukee WI

We have stayed at the Ambassador Inn for three years in a row while we attended the Call to Action Conference in Milwaukee.The rates are reasonable and affordable on a tight budget. Two breakfast places are near and we enjoy going to each: Michael's and Miss Katie's. Hotel staff was friendly, welcoming and helpful. We had to park across the street at […] the larger hotel on Friday night (Raze going on?) And it was very noisy on our floor Friday night with the slamming of doors that shook our room. I was too sleepy to complain, but the guests making the rumpus were quite rude and inconsiderate. It might behoove the staff to do a walk through every so many hours during the night shift just to give a listen to partiers who are loud enough to be noticed as such. No one likes to be "parented" like this, but if conducted diplomatically, it would improve the overall tone of the Inn. Devamı

I went to a show at the Congress Theater, and I chose to stay at the Ambassador Inn because it's less than a block from the venue. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. Will not go there again and would not recommend it. The breakfast was bad -- really bad. Only one table and four chairs. Nothing was fresh -- all in plastic contrainers or wrapers. Called front desk three times to complain about other guests making lots of noise. Some action was taken -- only after the third call.

I certainly can recommend the Ambassador Inn in Milwaukee for several reason in addition to price. The staff is very helpful and friendly, more than the large chains. Also, I had dinner at the bar and I can recommend the food - frankly I was surprised but the salmon (which was recommended) was excellent.

If you're looking for a brand-new hotel, this isn't it, BUT, if you're looking for a nice hotel, friendly staff, and a good price, then this is the hotel. Also, the free shuttle is amazing...takes you all over and picks you back up with no problems at all.

We booked this hotel to stay at after my bachelorette party downtown. We found a great deal on hotels.com and booked two rooms. The shuttle service was awesome, the staff was friendly. The rooms were very clean, the beds comfy, and everything was fantastic. Would def. recommend to other people to stay at. Great hotel for a great price.

Nice hotel with several nice features. The free parking garage was very clean, and well lit. The refrigerator and microwave in the room were a nice convenience. The location on Wisconsin street was handy to the downtown area and the lake front. The desk clerks were friendly and helpful.

We didn't check in until about Midnight after the game and we had to check in across the street. That was the 1st inconvenience. Once we checked in our keys to our room did not work...2nd inconvenience. Then we had to go back across the street for new keys and they still didn't work. We had to have a guy let us into our room. We couldn't really leave […] the room until we checked out because we had no way of getting back in. Last inconvenience was that housekeeping came at 9 AM the next morning. We put up the do not disturb sign and they still came back every hour until we checked out. Devamı

For the price a very good hotel. The free shuttle to all the sights was a bonus. Would certainly recommend this hotel.
